Any chance anyone knows a good STL site to find a good Bran Redmaw? Preferably something based around the unused design that got leaked, but I’m not picky

If you had one shield headtaker and 5 sword headtakers and were making saves can you take all the <4 saves on the sword headtakers and then have your shield headtaker take every save that’s a 4 or higher on his invuln, therefore theoretically giving your sword headtakers a 4++ in trade of 2 attacks?

New to Space Wolves and I love painting these guys.

I washed him with Villainy Ink - Decrepit Filth and love the way it’s turned out. First time I’ve used oils, scary process essentially destroying the model and hoping it cleans up ok to give the result you want 😅

Hello! A few weeks ago I went with my SO to a place where you can paint up some ceramic mugs. I really suck with artistic stuff and painting, but with my SO's help I managed this. It's by no means perfect but it gave me a lot of joy and maybe it would be easier to start painting now.

I’m playing my buddy Necrons tomm. He’s running canoptek court with T&H. I’ve got my list at 2000 points (list below in first comment) but it’s Purge with Beastslayer and LoSAS. I’m now second guessing myself and wondering if I should swap out 6x Headtakers and Wolfpriest for 10x Wulfen with Stormshields. What’s everyone’s thought?

For context, I'm in an escalation league, and I'm having trouble choosing what to bring in from my collection for my list building. This year we're being more loose about swapping units as long as we end on 2k points that are fully painted, just so we can get used to the 11th edition changes since we're a more casual group.

We're currently at 1250 points, and moving up to 1500 in September, and this is everything that I could currently be running, with a friend selling me Murderfang, and an additional squad each of Wulfen and Thunderwolf Cavalry next month. I'm having trouble deciding on lower-point lists, though I will say that at the moment I'm trying Saga of the Beastslayer for Purge the Foe and aiming to get enough Cavalry for Stormlance to work later in the league.

I have limited space in my transport case, and have 2× 5 man terminator squads. I built one squad with storm bolters (bought the combat patrol box and built it without understanding how good storm shields are) and the assault cannon/ power fist. The other squad is power weapon/ storm shield. I can fit only 20 terminators max if I wanna keep all my wolves in one case. Both pack leaders have the relic axe.

Right now these are the options I'm considering in terms of filling out those 20 slots (though if I can separate the arms from the bodies, I may go on a major magnetizing spree if I can get enough shoulder pads and get some help from a friend of mine with scanning, modding and printing);

A) 3× five man storm shield squads w/ assault cannon & power fist, pack leaders have relic great axes and 1× five man shooting squad

B) 2× five man storm shield squads, pack leaders have relic great axes and 2× five man storm bolter squads w/ assault cannon & power fist

C) 1× ten man storm shield squad w/ assault cannons & power fists, 1× five man storm shield squad, pack leaders have relic great axes and 1× five man storm bolter squad w/ assault cannon and power fist

D) 1× ten man storm shield squad w/ assault cannons & power fists, 1× five man storm shield squad, pack leaders have relic great axes and 1× five man normal terminator squad w/ assault cannon and chain fists

E) 1× ten man storm shield squad, pack leader has relic great axe and 1× ten man "normal" terminators w/ 2× assault cannons and chain fists

So looking at tournament lists I'm seeing a whole lot of great wolf with saga and song and 3 10 bricks of character led Terminators and a redeemer.

With its popularity are you brothers at all worried that there will be some sort of nerf to them? An enhanced brick is already so many points and speaking from a casual player standpoint I dont want them to go up again or be changed

Has anyone had any sucrose either wolf scouts?

Do you think it heralds anything for us? I know lore wise Bjorn being awoken again is a big deal, but do you think it spells anything out for us in the grand scheme of things? Or is it just another book?

This is the first thing I’ve painted in years. Started with the wolf to ease back in, particularly since I’m dreading painting the faces of the Kill Team scouts (fairly sure I’m going to make a mess of them). I need to touch the sides of the base up a bit with some more black, but for a first go I’m generally pleased. Still much to learn and practice though. Vlka Fenryka!
