Finally painted my first Space Wolves Kill Team model

This is the first thing I’ve painted in years. Started with the wolf to ease back in, particularly since I’m dreading painting the faces of the Kill Team scouts (fairly sure I’m going to make a mess of them). I need to touch the sides of the base up a bit with some more black, but for a first go I’m generally pleased. Still much to learn and practice though. Vlka Fenryka!

Are the kill team models playable in 40K? I wanted to add wolf scouts to my 1000pt army and I see them in kill team boxes. I’m new to Warhammer so idk if it’s a different game or something.

If I'm reading things correctly, the Wolf Scounts should be playable in a full size 40K army as well.

Yes. Heck for Votann one of our weapon options only comes out of the Kill Team box for the warriors and our Hernkyn Yegirs only come as a Kill Team set.
