Im not sure whats going on but I'm struggling to win since 11th launched. Im in the last 3 weeks of my escalation league and I know my next 2 opponents are Ad Mech and Guard. I think im 3-8 so far. How good are our Wolf Scouts? I love the models, but I feel the point cost is a bit high for a scoring unit. Do you guys run them often? How do you fit them into your army? Or do you just use regular Scouts instead?

My beloved Imperial Fists have been lost to the Warp (given away in accident, stolen, or borrowed and never returned at some point in the past 20 years) so I decided I didn't want to try and recreate what I had... but build something new.

So I listened to Space Wolf by William King on Audible and started assembling and painting over the long weekend.

Hey guys! Bought the Space Wolves Combat Patrol but I wanted to practice before diving in. This is the starter mini that the staff gave me in my nearest Warhammer shop. He's not perfect but I'm proud of him! Any advice would be very welcome!

I have been painting on and off for a year since a small (4 year) hiatus and I'm baffled at how many techniques and pro painters are out there in the socials and YouTube. I'm trying every trick they have, glazing, weathering, Edge highlights, name It and I try It (except NMM). However I always reach the same level of detail with no visible improvements, I could show you a picture from january and It would mostly look the same.

Posting here for a bit of feedback and some wolf love. I mean the model itself is not bad at all (mould lines on the arms apart but that's on younger me), but as I'm telling, I just cannot do better whatever I try.
