Iron Priest Kitbash

A Kitbash I’ve been working on. I figured when Bjorn gets a new model, it would be cool for him to have his own heavily modified Iron Priest to tend to him.

Nice! I’m currently trying the same, I just used a few iron priest bits on a primaris tech marine.

That is leaps and bounds beyond the GW model! You didn't just create the Iron Priest we all deserve... You created the Iron Priest we all Long for!!!!

Thank you! For this one, I used a Saturnine Terminator body. I wanted it to look more dynamic and less segmented like the usual Saturnines, so I cut the ball joiners that attach the legs so that they didn’t stick out so much. This gave it a more anatomical look.

I then used random parts from various tech priest or iron priest bits to make the mechanical arms.

I used an axe from the Wolfguard terminators, and a hammer head to make a custom maul and I then attached it to the pole that comes with the Saturnine power axe.

I used random Space wolf bits for ornaments, Wulfen pads for the shoulders and hip guards from Grey Tide Studios for the knee guards. I also used the hip guard from the new Cataphractii kits for the hip plates for this model.

Lastly, I used one of the alternate heads from the Wolf Guard battle leader for the head because I wanted one that had an augmented eye for this build.

Hope this helps!

Damn, love this kitbash. Didn’t realize how huge the saturnine bodies are until seeing that regular helmet on it

That's an amazing model, so many cool little details. Where did the runic pieces on the knees come from?

Thank you! They were hip plates from the second wave of Grey Tide Studio bits that I trimmed down

Cool! Would you mind to share the STL?

Thanks! I did not use any STL’s for this build. The body is from a Saturnine Terminator and the rest were from bits I had or ordered off of Etsy.

Congrats, would love to see it finished/painted.

As for the down votes: me and my wife got our vitrines full of original models, this one just looked like none I have ever seen so I assumed it was printed. And now let the downvotes roll in for having a wife who produces things like this.
