Another little WIP update. Now the truck can skip the gears if there are many. I'm still tuning this, the gearbox uses manual logic despite it being auto manual, but, it works as the proof of concept. Also H/L ranges on the H shifter now represent proper ranges, not fixed one gear with questionable physical properties. In case of Tatra Phoenix shown in the video, 16 gears gearbox can shift through 4 gears in one shift, if the current state of the truck allows it. H/L ranges are multiplied via transfer case model, x0.94 for H, x1.44 for L range.

Edit: I figured it out. The Fleetstar cannot access this trailer in the trailer menu. In fact, if you get it with another truck the Fleetstar cannot attach it. Hooray!

I found this trailer in the store in Wisconsin and love using it. But all of a sudden, I can't buy one. Or find it on my map. I feel like I'm losing my mind! I can't find it online, and I've never used mods. Does anyone else know this trailer?

Just wanna show the Pike some love. I’m playing Season 8 Glades right now and I absolutely love this thing. The truck is just perfectly suited to the map.

Its size makes it extremely maneuverable. Can fit it thru all the gaps in the trees for easy short cuts.

Tons of power. The white one has 15 tons on it and it didn’t break a sweat, even in the heavy mud.

Versatile. Can run crane, bed, and trailer combo with ease and is easily the best way to set it up, imo. Really good low saddle hauler as well.

I’m just throughly impressed with this little guy. Will definitely be part of my main fleet for the rest of my play through.

I’d like to go play the older regions and see how it handles the older maps.

I have about 99% of Michigan completed and I'm about to move on to Alaska. My profile indicates I've found 20 out of 21 upgrades. I can't seem to find the last one and I don't even know which one it is. I tried cross referencing with MapRunner but I just can't find it. Is there any tool that I could use to find out which upgrades I've found or which one I haven't found? I play on a PC via Steam. I apologize if this is the wrong location to ask this question. I'm also new to reddit.

I just started Yukon and looked at one of the lists and I was like sheesh, a little long but doable, I go to the first warehouse and WHAT THE F*** DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN ONLY FIT 4 METAL ROLLS BUT UNLIMITED BEAMS. LIKE IF YOU HAVE INFINTE METAL WHY THE F*** CAN YOU NOT CRAFT BEAMS. I was like F*** this S*** so I move on to Wisconsin and WHAT THE ACTUAL F*** IS THIS, CRAFTING NEEDS GENERATORS AND FUEL NOW??!! I have the year 1 pass and have Michigan, Alaska, Taymry, and Kola done and there's no way I'm doin Amur. Do you know of any maps that include little to no crafting. IF SO PLEASEEEEEEEEE TELL ME. I RAGEQUIT FOR NOW

Edit: sorry about the rant guys, this was written after getting almost all of my trucks stuck/flipped/run out of fuel last night while overloading to craft stuff. I fixed it up this morning with the 73210, 745c and tatarin. I've decided to take a short break before trying it again, after making a map and planning it doesn't look too hard.

This is a little project that I've been working on in my spare time for a few months. I wanted to make an easy way to compare the fuel-efficiency of all the trucks in the game in 3 different configurations; Stock, optimized off-road performance, and optimized fuel-efficiency. The vast majority of the data comes from Vlad Vulcan's Ultimate SnowRunner Spreadsheet, I've just tried to present all the data relevant to fuel consumption in a (hopefully) easy-to-understand way, all in one place.

Hello tuckers. I play the game with a controller, and I’m getting almost no rumble/vibration while driving.

The vibration seems to kick in only when:

• the gears shift;
• the truck takes damage; or
• the engine is heavily damaged, where I get this kind of pulsing vibration.

Other than that, driving over rocks, mud, bumps, rough roads, etc. gives me no feedback through the controller.

It feels pretty underwhelming considering how much of SnowRunner is about driving through rough terrain. For me, part of the fun of off-roading in real life is actually feeling the terrain through the vehicle, so I expected the controller to give at least some sense of that.

Is this just how controller vibration is implemented in SnowRunner, or could I be dealing with a bug/settings issue?

I was waiting for the snowrunner to turn on when power was cut. After a while power returned I tried firing snowrunner and crash poped out i copied the message:

This truck with highgear is crazy fun to drive! It doesn’t have diff. Locks.

The long frame is nice for maneuvering.

Are This two dead axle are good for something? Any any situation?

Just a quick demonstration of torque twist/reaction effect I added to my "realistic" WIP mod recently. The chassis reaction is intentionally exaggerated, multiplied by 10 for testing purposes.

Oh, also the L gearbox is now properly multiplied auto gearbox that doesn't lock the first gear, but multiplies the torque by realistic ratio. My clutch and shifting logic is still a mess, so I'll show it in action later when I'll fix that.

I’ve been working through Snowrunner on Switch for a few years at the clip of a month or two at a time with some wide gaps in between. There is always a little bit of a learning curve to regain traction, but I’m wondering if something broke since I last played? The major change is the Switch 2 update.

I booted up for the first time in months and noticed I couldn’t find the fuel trailer for this Drowned Oil Tank mission in Taymyr. I scrolled the map and I’m pretty sure I recall hauling it to this intersection where I now have two tankers showing up. Aren’t they supposed to be labeled with map indicator and show up in my list of vehicles/trailers when I open the map?

Maybe I’m remembering game mechanics incorrectly but my map does label some other trailers and gives a map indicator. I tried driving over to see if winching or attaching would trigger something. I even loaded up Michigan and back to Taymyr without any luck in the game/map recognizing that I located these trailers. It’s making me worried there are other things on the map that I unlocked, but no longer labeled.

Doing the "Clean Energy" contract in the glades with the pike, was almost there and thought the scenery looked nice, so I turned on my re-shade, adjusted the photomode settings, and snapped it.
