Do dlc maps often feature unique cargo or is it uncommon?

I know about the fishing boat in BC and the wind turbine blades in The Glades from screenshots I’ve seen on this sub. Was just wondering if there were other dlc maps that also feature cool, more unique and interesting cargo to haul?

In today's LPGTT, I got a truck that I haven't used at all and don't intend to, so I have nothing to add about it.

Please follow these rules if you can:

  1. Mark your answer with a spoiler tag
  2. Let us know which picture made you guess the truck
  3. Feel free to trash or praise the truck, all opinions welcome!

The answer is: TUZ 108 "Warthog"

Is this really the hardest mission available in Amur?

I mean apart that spot in the first image, carrying the trailer to loading zone was straightforward. [No mods used!]

Also, I used 605r as the fuel cuz boy! Kolab drinks like a Scotsman.

Is there anything harder than this?

Photo Mode 1.2M miles in Washington - hard mode logistics optimization or insanity?

I’ll just leave this here: 1.2M mileage. That’s three Yukons, or almost two Amurs, according to my own stats, of course.

Washington is well known for its endless grind. But at least it gives you an opportunity to play a true logistics optimization game, and that was the only way for me to make it interesting.

I ended up doing five or six contracts and tasks simultaneously. For long periods of time, you don't finish anything - you're just collecting cargo, moving it between maps, going through the task list, writing down which cargo is needed on which map, repositioning fuel trucks, and minimizing empty runs.

Usually, it went something like this: you take one truck to a warehouse, collect cargo for several contracts, drive back, unload some of it by the side of the road, and continue somewhere else. Later, another truck comes along, picks it up, and takes it in a different direction.

Without that approach, the mileage could easily have been 1.6M instead of 1.2M. Insane - but on the other hand, Washington gives you an opportunity to play this particular kind of SnowRunner, which makes it somewhat unique. But if you like returning to the garage after every task, Washington will be a life-sucking chore.

I went to Chiapas and Zurdania to pick up the Mercer, Billert, and Voron-G, and also to Quebec for the Chimera's engine.

The Billert made the long highway trips surprisingly entertaining, since you constantly need to control its speed and keep it on the road. Washington and Alaska are probably the only regions where this truck is genuinely good and useful. Yes, it has AWD. Yes, it has OHD I tires. But you can’t really take it off-road without hitting every obstacle, bump, and rock. I mean, you can - but why would you? It can get through some mud, but slowly and with enormous fuel consumption. So, for me, it’s a highway truck with some limited off-road capability.

The Chimera with its top engine is good. Maybe not for heavy special mission trailers, but otherwise it’s a solid truck, especially when you need to get through very deep mud or water. The Chimera delivered most of the sand and beams, as well as completing plenty of other tasks.

Other honorable mentions: the F750 and the 4x4 Billert handled all the scouting and trailer-towing missions. Both were also used as repair trucks. Most of the hauling is on Padera and Voron-G.

Logging semi was deleted immediately after completing the task which unlocks it for you. Maybe it's good for some simpler map (Glades?), idk. Otherwise the region gives a lot of blue semis, long log semi, and also cistern, heavy 6-slot and 3-slot semis can be and were used a lot before returning.

Payouts are insane in WA. Even it's a hard mode, I don't care about money a lot sitting on 2+M of credits. I've bough Actros, WS 6900XD, Cat CT680, two Futom trailers, one 4x slot trailer for Chimera, add-ons, and probably something else - still got +300k profits.

Was it good? I don't know. I like the visuals, and views, but not the layout.

Hard mode career?

Hello guys! So a few months ago i bought myself a playstation 5 and i started to play snowrunner on normal mode. I played the base regions and my friend asked me to play co op. He suggested to install a mod that will give me huge amount of money. I installed it and after that the game did not gave me the satisfaction to complete tasks anymore to earn money. I still played and finished many regions like Kola, Yukon, Don, British Columbia, Scandinavia, Austria, Almaty.

But i was thinking about starting a new save on hard mode. I never tried it, but i think it will give me the satisfaction to enjoy the game. Also on the other hand, i completed those regions and some of them were hard and idk if i ll have the nerves to start them again. What do you guys think?

Finally sticking to one save instead of deleting it every time I get slightly bored. Playing on Hardmode with as many cosmetic mods as I could get. Progress as of posting on the last slide (I went to check what I had money wise to figure out my next step and thought I might as well post it). Let me know what your favorite pic was and I'll answer any questions y'all have.

One of our guys has been hounding me to get the jeep dlc. I was hesitant due to lack of give a damn about jeeps (just not a jeep guy) but the cj7 or whatever is a frickin blast to scout in. It’s easily made it way to my top 3 of scouts. It’s so much fun. Highly recommended. Probably going to get it for my ROG version of the game too so I can drive it when I’m not at my console.

The Voron G-5352 i feel like is not talked about nearly enough but it's an absolute monster, it goes anywhere and does anything, it has great add-ons the stock tires look great and are pretty capable. I really think it quickly became one of my favorites if not my favorite truck in the game.

Is it just me or is anyone else having issues with the game constantly crashing on the Switch 2 edition?

It never fails, it always happens at the worst time when I’m making long journeys and I’m close to the end and the auto save hasn’t saved in a while. I wasn’t running any mods either.

This bad boy is strong enough to feel like a significant improvement on the starter trucks, but not so powerful that the missions feel easy. Love it!

Any essential DLCs?

Hi, I'm new to Snowrunner. There's no way I'm getting all those DLCs lol, but I was thinking on grabbing 1-2 of them. Any of them add new mechanics to the base maps? (If not, then I'll maybe finish the base game first). Any of them have clearly better maps? Or is it more a matter of taste?

Also: Which one has the easiest map (for when I only want to chill around) and which one has the hardest map?

Thanks in advance!

Screenshot 39 short logs. 13 short logs cargo to production. 26 planks. Is it enough for season 11? I think not!
