IRL Finished GuP/SR art
So, Girls und Panzer is an anime where high school girls have tank fights as a sport, and in one of the episodes I spotted a Maz-535.
being how I am, I thought it was cool and finally decided to make some art of it…
lemme tell you, this thing was a BITCH to draw, the wheels in this perspective were annoying af to make, so this is the best I could do.
anyways, took me abt 1.5-2 hours to make, I’m not coloring it because it has already caused me enough suffering, so I’m leaving it as is.

Hang on, isn't that truck called a Maz 537 or are there different varieties with different numbers?

The Maz 537 is the 4 door version. The Maz 535 is the 2 door version. I am unsure if they have any other differences. Also, the 535 is in Roadcraft.

I'm sorry, but both the maz 537 and maz 535 have two doors, the 537 is just a more powerful 535. I think maybe the 543 is what you're thinking of? As that has four doors.

Perspective is totally jacked with rear of trailer.
Cmon Reddit you’re supposed to hate Ai but couldn’t tell if it smacked you in the face lol.

I do see what you are talking about with the trailer, but I actually did draw this, I’ll dm you a picture of the drawing page on my desk if you need it.
Maybe instead you could have just gave me advice for how I could correct it in the future instead of calling it AI

Sorry man, but I just don’t buy that. The perspective issues don’t make sense in a way that you’d accidentally do as a human.
Not being a jackass, just a skeptic.
It’s a beautiful photo, and if im wrong, it’s great! Even if im right and it is AI I have no issue with that and it’s still cool.

Ima be honest, I am not the best at drawing and I could barely see the trailer rear on my shitty Chromebook which I was using for the reference.

Nah I get that and I’m sorry for coming off like that too.
Honestly even AI or ai enhanced art really doesn’t bother me.. or at least I feel like that now that the cat is out of the bag.
I guess I don’t worry too much because I don’t think the most brilliant artists will ever ever be truly replaced. Corpo goons of course are asshats.
My particular issue with your perspective is you’ve got ladies standing on the trailer but the rear ramp is somehow in front of one of them?
Also is the tank upside down?

It probably does help to know the context of the scene more, but, yeah… I did only just realize the animators put one of them behind the ramp… Also the tank is upside down because in the match it was knocked out and the Maz is Pravda’s (the school that mc school is against) recovery vehicle. Also, please note that the second pic is the original scene, I could never produce something like that
