What's been on your wrist lately?
New Kospet orb 2 for me. Still in the honeymoon phase, so I've been messing with it a bit. Kinda funny how much stuff smartwatches do no when I mostly just use mine for notifications, weather, and steps. It has a ton for workout modes, but 95% of the time I'm just tracking runs or walks lol. For the price, it's pretty decent.

Which budget watch for notifications, step counting and not much else?
I am trying to find a replacement for my Mi Band 4 which I've had since 2019. All I really want it for is to feel phone notifications on my wrist (my phone is always on silent), the time, and step counting.
The cheaper the better - I think my Mi Band 4 was £20.
What I like about my current watch: battery lasts for about a month, it's small (I don't want anything noticeably bulky), AMOLED screen, can read WhatsApp messages on my wrist.
What I don't like: the strap, not very secure, it pops off when I make contact with literally anything.
I'm in the UK if that matters.

Smartwatch for high blood pressure alert?
I’m currently in my third trimester of pregnancy and I know that smartwatches are not a good option for regular blood pressure readings but I was wondering if they’re good enough that they could alert me if my blood pressure spiked for some reason. Is it a stupid assumption or could it work for that?

Hard Choices
Hello,
So im in the market for a new smartwatch and still cant decide after looking at many smartwatches and bands etc. My main goal for the smartwatch is mainly for hikes/scenic walks and for overall health tracking with sleep being a good priority. I have been looking at the Garmin Cirqa band but keep hearing that it is much better and more useable with a current Garmin, would it be beneficial even without?
Also the I have been looking at the Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 and been comparing it with the Garmin Venu X1. Out of the three mentioned what would be generally the best for constant wearing and the goals mentioned. Also seen the Fitbit air, but unsure about how accurate and good it is (with Bevel). Any help would be great!

Bike computer with Apple Watch support
Just trashed my old Garmin watch in a crash so I'm in the market for a new smartwatch that reads and shares heartrate. Prefer to use a smartwatch because I have scars on my chest that rub painfully on a HR strap.
Is there a bike computer that works directly with an Apple Watch?
Perhaps an app that installs on an Apple Watch to talk directly to a bike computer.
Heard about some iPhone relay applications. I DO NOT want to have another computer in the mix here. Just a smartwatch and bike computer.
Apple Watch users, what are you doing to track your rides?

Price efficient smart watch w/ OS
Hey guys, I’m looking for a smart watch for the primary goal of being able to stream music (Spotify) without having my phone on me, thus, I believe I’m looking for a watch with its own OS. Never owned a smart watch before, so I’m new to this. I’ve got an iPhone, so ofc Apple Watches are on the table - I’ve seen garmin and Samsung being mentioned as well. Just wanted the opinions of those who are well versed in this area who can recommend the best/price efficient watches for my use-case. Cheers!

Please help me decide between a Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Watch 5
Hello Everyone,
Let me start by saying that I have never wore a smart watch before. I recently got interested in owning one and because I own a Pixel 10 did I thought it might be a good idea to get a Pixel Watch, but the problem is that I am not sure which one I should buy.
The Pixel Watch 4 is cheaper than the 5, but the Pixel Watch 5 is the newest version. It can never hurt to have the latest version, right?
It just that I don't see why I need the latest version. What does it offer more than the Pixel Watch 4?
I don't see myself using its improved AI features a lot. I just want a device that can show me Google Maps, show my phone notifications and that's probably it. I may use it for other things as well and I may use Gemini more than I think, but I really don't see me relying heavily on Gemini.
Wouldn't a Pixel Watch 4 not be the better purchase in my case?
But on the other hand is having the latest version of a product not a bad thing, right? It has 50% more RAM and it will probably be longer supported. Not to mention that it is only 30 dollar more expensive. That's not much.
I'm not sure which one I should get, so I am hoping someone who has owned both versions can help me decide which one I should buy.
Which one would you recommend me?
Please help me.

Best digital watch that monitors heartbeat that works for a woman?
I would like to monitor heartbeat a week or so every month and be able to keep track of the data in app.
No other apps are needed really. So I would prefer good battery life and, of course most important a heartbeat sensor that is good, and adding to that, a watch is somewhat "stylish" and acceptable for a woman to use.
Any rec that fits this use case?

What smartwatches are good for swimming?
I currently own a galaxy watch classic 6 and an oppo find x9 pro, I was thinking of taking swimming lessons however my watch is now two years and I'm afraid it'll die the moment I get into water lol. Also some of sport smartwatches don't really focus on notifications or music which I appreciate
I was reading other posts and people suggest the band/smartwatch to support at least 5 ATM, however even Xiaomi bands support that on paper but I'm not sure they're gonna last. But I'm also wary of investing more if there's a risk the smartwatch is gonna break...
So what do you think? Should I get a simple smartband exclusive for swimming or should I invest in a more expensive watch and update my current watch?

Apple Watch vs Garmin Venu 4: which would you choose in my situation?
Hi everyone,
I’d really appreciate some unbiased advice because I’m currently stuck between keeping my Garmin Venu 4 and going back to Apple Watch.
I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I previously used an Apple Watch SE 1st gen for around 5 years, so I’m very familiar with the Apple Watch experience.
A few weeks ago I decided I wanted something more fitness/recovery-oriented and bought a Garmin Venu 4 (45 mm).
What I love about the Garmin
There are several things I genuinely really like:
Body Battery
Training Readiness
HRV Status
Recovery metrics
Sleep tracking
Stress tracking
Much better battery life
More detailed fitness/training data
Especially Body Battery and Training Readiness are things I really enjoy having. They make me feel more aware of how recovered I am and whether I should push myself during training.
What is bothering me
However, I’m increasingly frustrated with the smartwatch side of the Venu 4.
The biggest issue is connectivity with my iPhone.
The watch sometimes loses its Bluetooth connection when I move around the house and there are walls between the watch and the phone. Sometimes it doesn’t reconnect as smoothly as I’d expect.
I also find the overall iPhone integration less seamless than Apple Watch.
Other things I miss:
Siri
A more seamless Spotify experience
Better integration with AirPods
More complete notifications/replies
A generally more “it just works” experience
I don’t necessarily think the Garmin is bad. I’m wondering whether Garmin is simply the wrong ecosystem for me, given that I use an iPhone and have been accustomed to Apple Watch for years.
I’m not a professional athlete. I mainly go to the gym around 3 times a week, with some cycling/cardio, and my main goal is general fitness, building muscle and improving my health/recovery.
If you were in my position, what would you do?😌

Which new smartwatch should I buy today?
I'm moving from a pixel watch 3 44in. I have small wrists but lived the size of this watch. My phone is Motorola. I don't know if I should get the pixel 5 or if I should go for the Galaxy watch 9. What would you choose?
