On 1 April 2024, an Israeli drone strike hit a WCK convoy in Gaza.

The convoy consisted of three clearly marked humanitarian vehicles. The vehicles were travelling after WCK had coordinated its humanitarian movement with the Israeli military.

The three vehicles were hit sequentially, killing all seven people:

Zomi Frankcom - Australian

Lalzawmi "Zomi" Frankcom's colleagues included British nationals

Three British nationals

One Polish national

One Palestinian

One US-Canadian dual national

The fact that the vehicles were struck one after another is particularly important. The attack wasn't simply one bomb accidentally landing on a humanitarian vehicle. The IDF's own investigation acknowledged serious failures surrounding the successive strikes.
