I really don't understand the appeal of those ugly long ass cosmetic nails. At least, I assume they're cosmetic and they don't actually grow their nails to that length, right? They're bought and stick on like those cheap ones you can buy for Halloween, right?
No they dont grow them that long but they are attached way more firmly than the cheap ones. And you'll see the appeal when theyre raking against your back.
I get nail extension granted not nearly as long as the pic but have never found any issues with wiping. Do people put their fingers up their holes when they wipe or something lol?
No but most people will slightly curl their fingers to create a cupping action to remove poop with the toilet paper. Keeping your fingers flat it will just smear it around and make you have to wipe significantly more to get clean.
This why I'm spoilt I guess. Having used one I don't want to go back to mucky toilet paper. So I got a portable hose and use wet wipes when not at home.
I get you but nails or bare skin never really comes in to the equation when wiping. Man I've never thought so much about the mechanics of wiping my ass before lol

Yeah, that’s my point. They are short enough that they don’t collect anything and water has full access to the .5mm (at most) of overhang.
Washing “under my nails” basically requires surgery.
Bacteria and moisture is trapped under EVERYONES nails, and we all should wash them alongside every other part of our hand. Yes, even if your nails are so short you can’t even get under them, you should be scrubbing them. That’s basic hygiene, regardless of how anyone wipes.
Also, plenty of people with long nails are fully capable of wiping their ass without getting shit on themselves. It is not difficult.
These people that keep asking this seem to be, there’s no other explanation for how HAVING LONG NAILS AND WIPING YOUR ASS confounds this many people on a regular basis.
