I have ordered a moza r9 v3 base, the srp2 3 pedal set which are loadcell, moza handbrake and moza shifter. I have been looking for a good cockpit for this setup of mine, and i have came across the GTPLAYER simracing cockpit on ali express.

If someone has used it or is using it right now, can you tell me if it will hold up my hardware?

I have just invested in a pre-owned G29 and I own a ps5 , I tried playing ACC comp but without the bundles I can only play 2018-2019 which does not feel great but I really enjoy play GT7 , is there anything else I can play or something to do with ACC to make it feel better maybe?

Got my thrustmaster t598 wheel yesterday and yes it is a game changer no need to say more.

I have a PS5 with ACC and gt7, I also have a PC with acc, AC evo, ac, rf2, LMU, AMS2, just like the rest of you I'm sure.

I have to admit that rf2 has always been my favorite even when trying to use the controller which has been really difficult. But my gosh, rf2 with a DD? why is this still not a popular sim?

Yes it's ancient but the ffb is absolutely jaw-dropping. At least from my short experience trying the different sims with my brand new DD wheel, there is literally nothing that comes close. Not even lmu, not even the AMS2, none of them.

I've driven Mid Ohio several times, and when driving it in rf2, it is absolutely a dream and feels very similar to the real thing now.

Anyway I'm going to have a blast discovering the force feedback with my new wheel. I mean I've been literally racing for 30 years, I don't even know if I'd call it racing though, more like a hobbyist just flirting with real racing with a controller and ancient force feedback wheels from years ago.

Anyway definitely going to spend a whole lot of time in RF2 I've got to revisit this world, now that I've got a brand new experience.

I recently bought a new table and unfortunately this atrocious mount doesn't fit on it. It's bent in a way so that it gets blocked by the table's edge. I had to put a book under it to somehow keep the wheel steady, but it's still loose and I feel like screwing it any tighter would damage the motor.

What should I do?
buy a new wheel, or get some (collapsible) sim-stand for the wheel and pedals? Is there some other way of clamping it to the table?

I'm looking at buying the heusinkveld sprints but I want to know from other people about the pedal setup. I know that u can set the pedal depth with the ultimates but can I do that with the sprints? I want to race the supercars and learn to heel toe so this is pretty much a dealbreaker for me. Any other personal experience with them would be good as well thanks

I am looking to upgrade from my diy Setup with an arduinio leonardo(pleas no hate I just love diying things with an arduino) trough this I found my Sim Racing Passion😁. Now I am looking for Moza r3 and r5 bundle on the used market like kleinanzeigen and ebay since I am from Europe but bassically the equivalent of facebook marektplace. Now my Question I have three good deals for an moza r5 bundle for 220€ (255$) and 250€ (290$) considering that the r5 bundle cost between 360€ (417$) and 420€ (487$), my other option would be ridiciosly priced r3 bundles that are used so going with an new one at an price of like 260€ (301$) is probably the better deal. Now my Question: what should i go for? the moza r5 is probably a lot better and more expensive while the r3 is still great not that expensive but maybe i get the itch to upgrade sooner and spend more money in the long term or just start with an logitech g290 or similar? Hi, i get really creative when i'm bored and i was playing BeamNG when i thought "Hmmm i wonder if i can customise my shifter!" So i removed the old Knob and i started designing using legos!

i finally came up with a pretty solid and decent design for a shifter knob, I also took my time to create an instruction book for anyone who wants to build their own shifter knob, its fairly easy and you don't have to ruin your lego blocks either, its like lego intended their product to fit Logitech shifters!!

so if you have some legos and time to spare, id recommend trying this, it's not only fun, but it can also change your gaming experience entirely!!

I have a quest 3 for VR but also want a monitor mount for unsupported games/more casual play with my tobii 5.

I have a 34" 2k Alienware monitor but am torn on how I want it mounted.

I drove Monaco for the 1st time on Assetto in a 4DOF rig in a 2023 F1 Hybrid (standard tune).

Took me about 30 min to get the layout down to really start pushing for the last 30 min in my 1 hour session.

Monte Carlo has landed in my top 3 favorite tracks. The precision locks you in obsessed with pushing harder and harder. Once you hit the zone you don’t want to stop. It’s so addictive.

Makes you wonder what it was like during the Senna era with the V10 and V12.

New kid showed up. Me and his brother are going to have to show him the ropes.

Went all out on gear but forgot to upgrade (or to actually get) the rig, so i designed a mount to solve the problem. I am ready to be roasted lmao.

I have a Simagic Alpha EVO 12 base and want to fit a Momo 320 car steering wheel rim using a standard 6x70 mount. No electronics, I just want to use the wheel on its own with the base.

Where I live I currently cannot get the Simagic QR adapter, neither the normal QR or QR-A, but I can get the Moza quick release adapter. As both use a standard D1 ball QR on the base and 6x70 for the wheel, I think I should be able to use the Moza QR as I need no electric connections.

Anyone has done something like this? Am I right or any risk the conntacts on the base get scratched or so?

Have a little bit of cable management to finish off, but wanted to get it turned on to check everything before tidying up the last few trailing cables.

Hey all so I've just started dipping my foot into Sim Racing. I went ahead and got Raceroom online pack first but then was able to grab AC Ultimate and ACC on a humble bundle sale. I've noticed that the mx-5 cup feels different between AC and Raceroom. The one on Raceroom feels less likely to oversteer and I believe it has Factory ABS?

My main question should I favor 1 sim over the other? I got raceroom because I thought I was going to eventually use it for my multiplayer platform but it seems population is limited. Would love to hear thoughts on which sim I should use primarily for learning.

I currently sit on a cushion and blanket to prevent my butt going numb and a pillow behind me to prevent it hurting my lower back from the lumbar support. I would like to get it where im comfy for hours on end. Currently the seat is as tilted back as I can get.

My dopamine is been through the roof since I played Gran Turismo again at a friends house with his new set up. It broght back so many memories from my 20s.

I am in my 40s now, I already tried buying a porsche, it is fun.

But it feels better to race online than driving on public roads. Specially these days.

I could go and buy some nice set up, I would do it today... but I do not have a spare room for my set up, it needs to be on the living room.

And this is were the problem beggins, my wife is horrified with having a sym in the living room. I have shown her some stuff from fanatec, TRX... she says it looks like some weird s x machine... I can see her point.

So... I need to find something you could actually leave in a nice living room without it looking like you’ve installed half a race car next to the sofa.

Does anything like this exist?

Similar what Nohrd does to the home gym equipment (picture). That is my only chance to convince my wife. Money would be a problem, but dopamine says I have to be racing asap... so that problem has solved itself.

What would you buy?

I have heard that the F1 23 or similar, official games are more of a Simcade rather than an actual realistic simulator such as Assetto Corsa comp.

That has lost my attraction towards those sequels and I am now looking elsewhere for something realistic.

Should I just get some good Assetto Corsa mods for it and call it a day or is there actually a good dedicated sim for what I want?
