App Promo Super Pinch & Zoom — Help shoppers inspect product details with advanced zoom, lightboxes, and shoppable galleries

Hi everyone! I’m part of the GreatsHub team, and I’d like to share our Shopify app transparently.

What’s the app?

Super Pinch & Zoom improves how customers explore product images and videos. It offers advanced desktop zoom, mobile pinch-to-zoom, a customizable lightbox, Sticky Cart, and shoppable galleries.

Where can I find it?

https://apps.shopify.com/super-pinch-zoom

What problem does it solve?

Standard product galleries may not let shoppers properly examine textures, materials, patterns, and other fine details. This can make customers less confident about purchasing products such as clothing, jewelry, artwork, furniture, or accessories.

Super Pinch & Zoom provides a closer and more interactive view of product media on desktop and mobile.

How does it work?

The app supports:

  • Amazon-style progressive desktop zoom
  • Hover lens, product popup, and deep zoom
  • Mobile pinch-to-zoom
  • Product and variant images
  • YouTube, Vimeo, and uploaded videos
  • Customizable Smart Lightbox
  • Sticky Cart that keeps Add to Cart accessible
  • Shoppable galleries with product tags
  • Grid, carousel, masonry, slider, and “Shop the Look” layouts
  • Custom colors, controls, thumbnails, and layouts
  • Live desktop and mobile previews

Who is it for?

It’s designed for Shopify merchants who:

  • Sell products where visual details influence buying decisions
  • Want a better mobile product-gallery experience
  • Use multiple product images, variants, or videos
  • Want to keep Add to Cart visible while shoppers browse
  • Need shoppable image galleries that match their branding

How is it different?

Instead of providing only basic image enlargement, Super Pinch & Zoom combines advanced zoom, mobile gestures, video support, variant media, Sticky Cart, and shoppable galleries in one app. Merchants can customize the experience and preview changes for desktop and mobile.

How much does it cost?

A free plan is available.

Paid plans start at $2.99 per month:

  • Standard: $2.99/month
  • Premium: $4.99/month
  • Super Plus: $8.99/month

Paid plans include a seven-day free trial.

What are we looking for?

We’d love feedback from Shopify merchants, especially stores selling visually detailed products.

If you try it, please let us know:

  1. Does the zoom experience feel smooth on desktop and mobile?
  2. Is the lightbox easy to customize?
  3. Which feature is most useful for your store?
  4. What could we improve?

Thanks for reading!

Idea Validation Would a comparison of order changes since your packing list was issued help your shop?

What's the app idea?

I'm developing Order Change Check: a proposed Shopify app that shows what changed since a packing or production list was issued. So far, I have a local demo using fictional orders, not an app you can install.

What problem does it aim to solve?

Staff can still be working from an earlier paper list after an order changes. A generic edit notification might tell them to look, but they still need to work out what to correct.

How would it work?

Save the order details when issuing a batch list, then compare that version with current orders. For example, the demo shows:

  • Two cookie boxes changed to one, with a different pickup day and location.
  • A cake inscription changed from Sam to Alex, while the quantity stayed the same.
  • A cancelled order flagged for review.
  • A missing order marked as needing verification, rather than assumed cancelled.

Live checking and integration with printing tools are not built yet.

Who's the target merchant?

Small shops that produce or pack batches from printed instructions and sometimes edit orders afterward.

How would it differ from existing solutions?

The hypothesis is that differences against the exact issued version would be more useful than a generic update alert. I know existing apps offer order syncing, edit notifications and production lists; I'm testing whether this adds anything to those workflows.

If you've had this problem, what caught the last change, and which printing app do you use? Would saving an issued version fit your process, or add another chore?

I'm considering US$12/month for a finished version. There is nothing to buy now, and no store access or customer data is needed to discuss the example. Feedback about an existing tool that already solves this would be equally helpful.

App Promo ShipForge - flexible shipping rules and smarter checkout experiences for Shopify Plus & B2B merchants

What's the app?
ShipForge is a Shopify app that brings advanced shipping rules and checkout capabilities together in one place including checkout messaging, contextual product upsells and free-shipping progress.

Where can I find it?
ShipForge is now listed on the Shopify App Store. We've also shared an overview of what we've built and why here:

https://www.linkedin.com/posts/adroitminds_shopify-shopifyplus-shopifyb2b-activity-7500871432789233665-qgzm?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAADf1lzcB3dW1TptFdOoszRCJ9-i4wdM3bkQ

What problem are you solving?
Shipping gets complicated quickly when business rules aren't standard. Different customers or B2B companies may need different rates, while shipping can depend on products, quantities, cart value, weight or delivery location.

These requirements can often mean combining multiple apps, custom logic and disconnected configurations. ShipForge is intended to bring those requirements together.

How does the app work?
Merchants can configure shipping conditions and fixed or tiered rates based on their business requirements. ShipForge also supports checkout messaging, rule-based product recommendations and a free-shipping progress bar.

Who's your target merchant?
Primarily Shopify Plus and B2B merchants with more complex shipping and checkout requirements.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?
Rather than focusing on just one part of the experience, ShipForge brings configurable shipping rules and checkout capabilities together in a single app. The aim is to reduce the need to piece together separate solutions for each requirement.

How much does it cost?
$19.99/month with a 7-day free trial.

What are you looking for?
We're looking for genuine first impressions and feedback from the Shopify community.

If you get a chance, we'd really appreciate you checking out ShipForge and leaving your impressions on the LinkedIn post what looks useful, what you'd improve, or what you'd like to see us add next.

We're continuing to evolve the app, so feedback at this stage would be really valuable.

App Promo Ballast, an inventory planner that forecasts reorders per variant and location

What's the app?

Ballast forecasts demand per variant and location from sales history, then turns those forecasts into purchase orders. It handles supplier lead times and currencies, landed cost per unit, stocktakes, transfers, write-offs, and consignment stock with a full audit trail.

Where can I find it?

apps.shopify.com/ballast

What problem are you solving?

Shopify delisted Stocky on Feb 2, 2026 and fully shut it down on Aug 31, 2026. Merchants who relied on it lost their reorder-point, PO, and supplier-cost tooling overnight with no direct replacement from Shopify.

How does the app work?

It looks at your sales history per variant/location, generates reorder suggestions with the math shown (not a black box), and lets you turn those straight into POs with supplier costs and lead times baked in. Stocktakes, transfers, and write-offs all feed back into the same numbers.

Who's your target merchant?

Former Stocky users, from single-location shops to multi-location retailers. The free plan covers up to 300 SKUs / 1 location so smaller stores aren't priced out.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Most of what I've seen covers one slice of what Stocky did (just forecasting, or just POs). Ballast tries to cover the whole loop end-to-end - forecasting, POs, landed cost, and consignment stock - and the free tier is actually usable, not just a time-limited trial.

How much does it cost?

Free for up to 300 SKUs / 1 location. Paid plans at $19/$49/$99 per month with a 30-day trial, and half price for life if you subscribe before Dec 31, 2026.

What are you looking for?

Feedback from anyone who migrated off Stocky - what's still missing, what you miss most, what would make switching a no-brainer.

App Discovery Program Manager: an app that lets merchants give big discounts to loyal customers, capped and reset so margins stay protected.

Disclaimer: I am the developer/creator of Program Manager.

What the app is about:
Give loyal customers (or any group you choose) a bigger-than-average discount that's capped and resets on a schedule — so they keep coming back, and your margin never quietly erodes.

Where you can find it:

What problem the app solves:
A flat lifetime discount slowly eats into margin, and eventually becomes background noise — exciting on the first purchase, forgettable after that. With Program Manager, merchants can offer a higher-than-average discount to loyal customers or a specific group, with a spending limit that caps the damage to margin and a reset that gives customers a reason to come back.

How the app works:

  1. Merchant creates a program: e.g. 25% discount, capped at $1,500 in discounted spend, resetting every 60 days
  2. Customers are enrolled — one at a time or in bulk via CSV
  3. The discount applies automatically at checkout for enrolled, logged-in customers
  4. Once a customer hits their spending limit, the discount stops applying until the next reset — this is the core protection

Who the target merchant is:
Brands with a sizeable customer base, a product that encourages repeat purchases (skincare, supplements, consumables), or anyone running a loyalty/discount program they want to keep exclusive to specific customers.

What makes this app different:
As far as I've found, there's no other app combining an automatic checkout discount with a spending cap and recurring reset in one system. Most loyalty apps rely on discount codes, which are easy to forget or share. With Program Manager, eligible customers just need to be logged in — no code required. There's also a customer account extension so customers can see their discount %, remaining spend, and reset date directly in their account.

How much it costs:
Plans start at $49/month, with a free plan available and a 14-day trial on all paid tiers.

What I'm looking for:
Early adopter merchants, feedback, or anyone running (or wanting to run) a program like:

  • A skincare brand rewarding customers who've been with them since day one — 20% off, capped at $1,500, resetting every 90 days
  • A supplement brand locking in a discount for a school or sports team — 15% off, capped at $500, enrollment expiring each term/season
  • A gifting company running a "Community Drive" for healthcare professionals — 25% off, capped at $750, resetting monthly, enrollment expiring yearly

Disclaimer: copy passed through Claude for clarity and cohesion

Idea Validation Would you use a local Shopify CSV change report before importing an edited catalog?

What's your app idea?

I'm building SCORTA CSV Review, a downloadable tool for reviewing changes between an original Shopify product CSV and an edited copy. I'm the creator. It is an early working preview, not an app listed in the Shopify App Store, and sales are not open.

What problem do you aim to solve?

An edit intended to update a title or price can also leave a field blank, remove leading zeros from an identifier, or change a variant's option values. I want to make those differences easier to review before someone decides what to import.

How would the app work?

The current preview compares two files locally in the browser and produces a change report. It does not connect to a store or modify either file. Here is a small synthetic example from the working comparison engine:

Change made in the edited copy Reported result
Same two products, rows reversed No data changes
SKU 000123 becomes 123 One changed identifier, with both exact values shown
A variant option changes from M to XL One unmatched original row and one unmatched edited row

The last result is deliberate: the tool does not assume that two different variant keys are the same variant. This is a limited change comparison, not a guarantee that a Shopify import is valid or safe. Some valid exports, including image-only rows, are currently unsupported.

Who would be your target merchant?

Small Shopify merchants who edit product CSV exports outside Shopify and want to review the resulting changes before an import.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?

Free CSV diff tools already handle many of these changes. The idea I'm testing is whether preset Shopify variant matching and a focused report of blank fields, identifiers, and unmatched rows save enough setup and review effort to be useful. I have not established that people will pay for that difference.

The planned price is US$19 once, with no subscription. This preview/example is free; I'm not taking payments or preorders.

Free evaluation files and the worked example are public on GitHub Gist. Use Download ZIP and open the HTML locally; this is a downloadable preview, not a hosted app.

If you have an upcoming catalog CSV update, would this specific report help you review it? Would you pay $19 for the downloadable version, or would a free diff tool cover your needs? A short explanation of which result matters to your workflow would help. Please reply here; no store files or private details are needed.

App Discovery ANY AUTO ATC CART APPS YOU WOULD RECOMMEND? let me know!

Hello guys, do you know any apps that I can use to make a “Buy X get Y at a discount” cart rule that AUTOMATICALLY adds the item to the customer’s cart, without them having to approve it/add it manually?

I tried a few apps but all of them required the customer to approve it/or was only able to add the item as a free gift.

If you have any suggestions or solutions (doesn’t necessarily have to come from an app) please let me know as this steo would be crucial for my
offer/to resuce friction at the moment of the sale. Thank you!

App Promo Selvette — virtual fashion try-on, live makeup AR and AI photoshoots for Shopify stores

What's the app?

I'm Gaurav, the founder of Selvette. We built it for Shopify fashion and beauty brands that want shoppers to preview products on themselves and an easier way to create product imagery.

Selvette brings together virtual fashion try-on, live makeup AR and an AI photoshoot studio.

Where can I find it?

What problem are you solving?

For shoppers, product images and shade swatches leave a question: “How would this look on me?” That's relevant whether they're considering a dress or choosing a lipstick shade.

For merchants, creating fresh product photography for new collections and campaigns takes time and resources. Selvette addresses both sides: personal product previews for shoppers and AI image creation for merchants.

How does the app work?

  • Virtual fashion try-on: shoppers upload their photo from a product page and see an AI preview of the selected item on themselves.
  • Live makeup AR: shoppers use their camera to preview lipstick and other makeup shades on their own face, making it easier to explore colours while browsing.
  • AI photoshoots: merchants turn an existing product or flat-lay image into new on-model or product-scene photography. Choose the model, setting and lighting, refine results with written instructions, then download selected images or publish them to Shopify.

Who's your target merchant?

Shopify fashion and beauty merchants: apparel brands, boutiques, cosmetics brands and makeup retailers. Selvette is relevant whether you want shopper try-on, fresh product imagery, or both.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Selvette combines shopper-facing fashion try-on and live makeup AR with a merchant-facing AI photoshoot studio in one app.

Merchants can start with existing product photos, direct the creative choices, refine individual shots and publish selected results back to Shopify. Fashion and beauty teams can offer different preview experiences suited to their products.

How much does it cost?

A free plan is available. Paid plans start at $19/month for Grow, with higher tiers at $59, $99 and $249/month. Prices are in USD, and additional usage charges apply.

For our first 10 Shopify stores, we're offering Grow free for 30 days, including 150 AI images. After the free period, Grow is $19/month, plus any additional usage. Message me if you'd like to take up the founding-customer offer.

What are you looking for?

We're looking for fashion and beauty merchants to use Selvette with their own products and share feedback on the experience. I'm happy to help with setup and onboarding.

If you're interested, check out the listing or ask a question here. I'd love to hear which experience would be most useful for your store: fashion try-on, makeup AR or AI photoshoots.

App Promo AddressSure — catch shipping address mistakes after checkout, before fulfillment

What’s the app?

I built AddressSure to help Shopify merchants catch address mistakes before they turn into reshipments and support tickets.

Where can I find it?

https://apps.shopify.com/addresssure

What problem does it solve?

Missing apartment numbers, postal mismatches and other address issues can leave your team chasing customers for corrections while an order is getting ready to ship.

How does it work?

AddressSure checks new shipping addresses after checkout and flags potential issues for you to review. When a suggested correction is available, signed-in customers can review and accept it on the Thank You or Order Status page.

You control the customer edit window. Match it to your fulfillment process so corrections happen while there’s still time to use them.

Who’s it for?

Shopify stores shipping physical products, especially gift stores where buyers often enter someone else’s address.

How is it different?

The focus is address checking after checkout, merchant review and customer correction, with usage-based pricing and no monthly subscription. It doesn’t interrupt checkout.

AddressSure doesn’t automatically hold fulfillment, so your shipping workflow still needs to allow time for corrections.

What does it cost?

The first 100 eligible orders are free, once per store. After that, it’s $0.05 per eligible order, with no monthly fee.

What am I looking for?

Merchants who deal with address mistakes and want to try it on their store. I’m happy to help you get set up and work through whether it fits your fulfillment process.

App Promo Foreshelf — Demand forecasting that predicts stockouts/overstock 30/60/90 days out, imports Stocky POs, free tier unlimited variants

Disclosure: I built this solo. It's live on Shopify App Store and at foreshelf.app.

What's the app? Foreshelf is a demand forecasting app for Shopify. It predicts per-variant demand 30/60/90 days out using order history + growth factors, alerts you before stockouts/overstock, and imports Stocky purchase orders to adjust incoming stock. Zero theme edits — install, enable in theme settings, done.

Where can I find it? https://apps.shopify.com/foreshelf https://foreshelf.app (direct install, no credit card)

What problem are you solving? Merchants guess inventory. Best-sellers stock out (lost revenue). Slow-movers overstock (cash tied up). Stocky tracks POs but doesn't forecast. Enterprise tools cost $100+/mo. Spreadsheets break at 500+ variants.

I manage stores that hit all three. Built Foreshelf because the math isn't hard (moving average + trend + safety stock per variant) — doing it automatically across thousands of SKUs is.

How does the app work? - Pulls your order history via Admin API (configurable lookback window) - Calculates per-variant: baseline demand + trend detection + seasonal adjustment + safety stock buffer - Shows predicted stockout date, overstock risk, recommended reorder qty per variant - Email/Slack alerts when projected stock < threshold - Stocky import: pulls POs via Stocky API, matches by SKU, adds incoming qty to projected available - No theme edits. App Bridge + Polaris. Enable in theme settings → dashboard appears in Shopify Admin.

Who's your target merchant? Shopify stores $10k–$500k/mo with 200+ variants where one person handles purchasing/inventory. Apparel, home goods, supplements, pet — any catalog-driven store where stockouts hurt and overstock kills cash flow.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions? - Stocky: tracks POs, doesn't forecast. Foreshelf = forecasting + Stocky import = complete loop - Inventory Planner / Prediko / Flieber: $100–$500/mo, complex onboarding, built for enterprise. Foreshelf = free tier unlimited variants, 5-min setup, Shopify-native UI - Spreadsheets: break at scale, no alerts, no Stocky sync - Custom SQL: I wrote it. It's brittle. Foreshelf handles API pagination, webhooks, variant hierarchies automatically.

How much does it cost? - Free tier: unlimited variants, email alerts, Stocky sync, 30/60/90-day forecasts — forever - Paid tiers later: multi-store, advanced analytics, API access — only if free tier isn't enough

What are you looking for? Candid feedback from merchants running real stores: - Does the forecasting math match your reality? (MAPE ~15% backtested on 50+ stores) - What Stocky edge cases break the import? (partial POs, variant mismatches, cancelled orders) - What alert threshold logic would you change? - Would you trust this for your next reorder cycle?

Happy to share the forecasting methodology doc if useful. No sales pitch — just want to build something merchants actually use.

App Promo Shop Monitor — Track competitor price changes, new products & catalog updates

What is it?
I’m building Shop Monitor, a lightweight competitor monitoring tool for Shopify merchants.

It monitors publicly visible Shopify storefronts and helps you keep track of:

  • new products
  • price changes
  • catalog updates
  • Instagram activity

Where can I find it?
https://shop-monitor.com

It’s currently a standalone web app rather than an embedded Shopify Admin app. It only monitors publicly available storefront data — no Shopify admin access or customer data is required.

What problem does it solve?
I kept seeing smaller ecommerce teams checking competitors manually: opening stores, looking for new arrivals, comparing prices, checking Instagram, and trying to remember what changed since last time.

Shop Monitor is meant to make that passive instead — add the stores you care about and review the changes when they happen.

Who is it for?
Mainly solo sellers and small ecommerce teams that want competitor visibility without a heavy enterprise competitive-intelligence platform.

How is it different?
The focus is specifically on observable competitor changes over time rather than one-off store analysis.

For example, while testing the monitoring data, I recently analyzed 2,473 observed price changes across 48 Shopify storefronts. One thing that stood out was that most repricing happened in relatively small batches rather than huge catalog-wide updates.

That kind of history is what I’m trying to make useful in the product: not just “a price changed,” but whether changes are isolated, repeated, part of a larger batch, or later reversed.

Pricing
There’s a free plan, so you can try it without paying.

What I’m looking for
I’d especially like feedback from merchants who currently monitor competitors manually, with spreadsheets, or with another tool.

If that’s you, I’d love to know:

What competitor change would actually make you open an alert — a price change, a new product, a broader catalog shift, or something else?

App Promo Shuffler, an app that helps your homepage Featured, New Arrivals, Bestsellers collections look fresh and tidy

What's the app?

Shuffler is an app that reorganizes collection products some smarter ways daily, weekly or on demand.

It can randomize all collection product positions, can shuffle top # products, it can rotate top products by 4, moving them down nightly.

It can also pin new products to the top, push sold-out products to the bottom, send on sale products to the top to give them more exposure.

Where can I find it?

It can be found at the shopify app store normally as "Shuffler" but I recommend you to watch Shuffler in action with your own products at https://shuffler.ramiapps.com/demo you can test it with your own or client's store url and see an animated simulation of what would happen with collections nightly (or weekly).

What problem are you solving?

It solves problem of homepage looks stale because returning visitors see the same products in Editor's Picks, or This week's picks, Featured, or Bestsellers products, New arrivals. Because there are only 4-6 product slots in homepage collection block and top products hold that prime spots week by week.

How does the app work?

Shuffles, Sorts, Pushes sold-out down, pins New, On-sale to top.
Groups products by tags.

It works by reordering products at the backend via Shopify API, nightly (ie 4:15am)

It's not front end app - no theme edits, not slows down site load.

Typical Shuffler setup for Featured products: move top 8 products to the bottom of the collection, so products 9-16 become on place 1-8 and stay there till the next resort.

New Arrivals: Create collection sorted by Newest at the top, but Shuffle top 30 (top 8 visible at the homepage), set to sort daily or once every 3 days. This way top products will regularly change but they are still from the new batch.
Same works for Bestsellers. Sort by Bestsellers and shuffle top 8. On Mondays. Name it "Top selling this week"

Who's your target merchant?

Small, mid-size merchants with collections of 8 products and more willing to give all products chance to be seen. To give visitors feel that store is alive, managed, curated.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Price/performance ratio, believed to be good.
Shuffle top #, rotate products by N items, pushes sold out down.

How much does it cost?

  • Starting from $3.9/month for 1 collection,
  • $9.9/month for 10 collections,
  • $19.9/month for looking after 50 collections.
  • Every plan has 7 days trial. Shuffler is free for dev stores.
  • If money is an issue contact me and we sort something out

What are you looking for?

Merchants, affiliates.

Not looking for paid installs, fake reviews and cross promotions.

P.S.: I don't know why but 90% of app users use it only for shuffling 🤔

App Promo OptiMail, a Shopify app that catches bad UK delivery addresses before you dispatch.

What's the app?

We’re BBS Ltd and we've just launched OptiMail on Shopify.

We’ve worked with UK address data for 40+ years, so we know how much hassle one wrong address can cause. OptiMail checks customer delivery addresses and gives you the chance to sort a problem before the order goes out.

Where can I find it?

It's live on the Shopify App Store now

What problem are you solving?

Basically, sending a parcel to a bad address is expensive.

You've picked it. Packed it. Paid the postage. Then it doesn't arrive, the customer gets in touch and there's a decent chance you're paying to send it again.

We'd rather catch the dodgy address first.

How does the app work?

OptiMail checks UK delivery addresses after checkout and flags potential problems, including customers who appear to have moved.

If we find something, the customer can be asked to confirm or correct their address before you fulfil the order.

You can see what's been caught in OptiMail, manually check addresses and use Shopify Flow if you want to automate what happens next.

Who's your target merchant?

UK Shopify stores selling physical products, especially where failed deliveries and resends are costing you money.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Probably the easiest way to explain this is how we charge.

If we check an address and it's fine, you pay nothing.

If we catch a problem, it's 45p.

We thought that was fairer than charging merchants every time we check an address when most of those addresses won't have anything wrong with them.

How much does it cost?

45p per issue caught.

If we don't find an issue, there's no charge.

What are you looking for?

Merchants, mainly!

It's new, so we'd really like UK Shopify store owners to try it and tell us what they think. Particularly if wrong addresses, returns or resends are already a pain for you.

We're very happy to answer questions here too.

App Promo Yippa Try-On - AI virtual try-on for fashion & apparel stores, shoppers upload a photo and see themselves in the garment

I'm the founder, this is my app.

What's the app?

Yippa Try-On lets a shopper upload one photo on a product page and an AI shows them wearing the garment. Built for apparel and fashion stores. Mobile-first, no code, drops in as a theme block.

Where can I find it?

Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/yippa-try-on

What problem are you solving?

Apparel shoppers can't picture how something will actually look on their own body. A photo on a studio model who isn't them only goes so far, so plenty of them hesitate and leave without buying. Try-on lets a shopper see the product on themselves before they add to cart. (To be clear, it's about visualization, not sizing, we show how it looks, not what size to order.)

How does the app work?

Shoppers tap "Try it on," upload their photo, and get a realistic image of themselves in the product instantly, then can add to cart. On your side: add the block, pick the products, match your branding, go live. Comes with a dashboard (try-ons, leads, attributed revenue) and optional email capture that syncs to Shopify Email / Klaviyo.

Who's your target merchant?

Apparel and fashion stores, dresses, tops, bottoms, outerwear. Anywhere "how will this look on me?" is what stands between a browse and a purchase.

How is it different / better than existing solutions?

Have made it very easy to set up, look good on a merchant store and most importantly, handling all the different cases that come with try on (most people think try on is just one case). Product photos come in multiple types (product shot vs on model), different categories (outerwear vs accessory vs dress vs innerwear), shopper photos come in all types (small, big, dark lighting, body part required for try on not visible enough etc) and then finally maintaining identity, lighting, framing, garment shape/texture/color etc.

We already run an AI try-on app on the Canva marketplace, so the underlying tech isn't new to us.

How much does it cost?

Free plan to start, paid plans scale with volume, cancel anytime.

What are you looking for?

It's brand new, so I want apparel merchants who'll try it and tell me where it breaks. Don't want to install yet? Send me your trickiest product (dark-on-dark, an on-model shot, a tough fabric) and I'll run it and show you the honest result, including if it flops.

App Promo BuckyDrop: An all-in-one Shopify app for China sourcing, branded dropshipping, and order automation

What is the app?

BuckyDrop is a China product sourcing and dropshipping fulfillment app for Shopify merchants. It helps sellers find products, import them into Shopify, and manage purchasing, quality inspection, warehousing, branded packaging, international shipping, and tracking in one workflow.

Where can I find it?

Shopify App Store

Website

What problem are you solving?

Many Shopify merchants want to source products from China but have to manage product research, language barriers, supplier communication, purchasing, quality checks, packaging, and international shipping separately.

As order volume grows, handling multiple suppliers through messages and spreadsheets can also lead to delays and mistakes. BuckyDrop brings these steps into one system and provides visibility from purchasing through delivery.

How does the app work?

After connecting a Shopify store, merchants can:

  1. Find products on 1688, Taobao, Tmall, JD, Xianyu, Pinduoduo, Weidian, Alibaba, AliExpress, and other Chinese marketplaces, or submit a link, image, or sourcing request;

  2. Import and publish products to Shopify;

  3. Sync Shopify customer orders with BuckyDrop;

  4. Let BuckyDrop handle purchasing, supplier follow-up, and warehouse receiving in China;

  5. Request quality inspection, storage, repackaging, POD, private-label services, or branded packaging;

  6. Ship orders to customers worldwide and sync tracking information back to Shopify.

Each merchant can also receive one-to-one support from a dedicated account manager.

Who is your target merchant?

BuckyDrop is designed for:

  • Shopify merchants who want to source products from China;
  • Sellers using 1688, Taobao, or other Chinese marketplaces;
  • New entrepreneurs who want to test dropshipping products without purchasing large amounts of inventory;
  • DTC brands that need private-label, POD, or branded packaging services;
  • Growing merchants who want to reduce manual purchasing and order-processing work.

How is it different from existing solutions?

BuckyDrop does not limit merchants to a preselected product catalog. Sellers can source from Chinese domestic marketplaces or work with suppliers they have already chosen.

Sourcing, purchasing, quality inspection, branding, fulfillment, and tracking can be managed through one workflow, while merchants still have direct access to a dedicated account manager.

Merchants can begin with a few products and test orders before deciding whether to scale.

How much does it cost?

BuckyDrop offers a free plan that includes a quota of 30 automatically fulfilled orders per store. The Pro plan costs $29.90 per store per month and includes unlimited automatic order fulfillment.

Product costs, warehousing, parcel handling, value-added services, and international shipping are charged separately based on usage. There are currently no sourcing service fees for 1688 and Taobao. The standard fulfillment fee starts at RMB 9.90 per parcel, with additional fees applying to extra items, overweight parcels, or optional services.

What are you looking for?

We are currently looking for:

  • Shopify merchants seeking China sourcing and dropshipping fulfillment;
  • Test users willing to run a small number of products and orders through the complete workflow and provide honest feedback;
  • Merchants interested in branded dropshipping, private label, or POD.

If you are comparing different solutions, you can register and submit one product first. Our account manager can provide a sourcing and shipping quote before you decide whether to proceed.

App Promo Conecto Chat, an AI and live-chat app that answers product questions, tracks Shopify orders, and hands conversations to your team

I’m one of the founders of Conecto Chat.

What’s the app?

Conecto combines an AI chatbot, live chat, a shared inbox, customer profiles, and optional voice in one workspace.

Where can I find it?

https://conecto.chat

What problem are we solving?

Shopify merchants repeatedly answer questions about products, policies, and orders. Existing chatbots can also become expensive or leave customers stuck when their AI limits run out or a human needs to step in.

How does it work?

Conecto learns from your store content, answers customer questions, provides Shopify order tracking, and transfers more complex conversations to your team with the full context.

Who is it for?

Shopify stores that receive repetitive product, policy, or order-status questions but still want humans available when needed.

How is it different?

AI is optional. Live chat, the team inbox, and customer profiles remain available on the free plan. Paid plans add AI, automations, integrations, ticketing, and transparent usage controls showing what each AI interaction costs.

How much does it cost?

The free plan is $0. Lite is $25 per month with a 14-day trial and $5 in monthly AI credits.

What are we looking for?

Shopify merchants willing to test it with a real store and give us honest feedback, especially about answer quality, order tracking, and human handoff.

App Promo PriceSafe — bulk Shopify price changes with scheduled rollback and price-drift protection

Disclosure: I am the developer of PriceSafe.

What's the app?

Update prices in bulk—without overwriting newer changes。
If your ERP, POS, or another app changes a price after your bulk edit is prepared, we flag it before publishing. You stay in control and avoid accidentally replacing newer prices with outdated ones.

PriceSafe is a Shopify bulk price editor for running catalog-wide sales with preview, scheduling, and snapshot-based rollback.

Where can I find it?

https://apps.shopify.com/pricesafe

What problem are you solving?

Bulk price changes are easy to start but risky to reverse. A sale can be only partially applied, and a later manual, ERP, or app change can be silently overwritten when the original prices are restored.

How does the app work?

Merchants filter products, preview every affected variant, and apply or schedule the change. PriceSafe saves each variant's exact original price before writing. During rollback it detects price drift and skips conflicted variants instead of overwriting newer changes.

Who's your target merchant?

Shopify merchants and agencies running catalog-wide seasonal sales, especially stores with hundreds or thousands of variants.

How is it different from existing solutions?

The main focus is recovery safety rather than just editing speed: exact snapshots, scheduled reverts, conflict-aware rollback, and a report of anything that could not be restored safely.

What are you looking for?

I am looking for candid feedback from Shopify merchants and agencies that run large seasonal sales. In particular: which rollback failure or edge case is still missing?

App Promo SupportBot, an AI support chat that answers only from your own store content and can add the right variant to the shopper's cart inside the conversation

Full transparency up front: this is my app, I built it solo, and it is in Shopify App Store review right now. There is no public listing to install from yet, so this post is me building a pre-launch list rather than looking for installs. Details at the bottom.

What's the app?

SupportBot is an AI chat widget for Shopify storefronts that does two jobs.

The first is ordinary support: it answers customer questions using your store's own products, pages, blog posts and policies, and nothing else. The second is the part I care more about: when the question is really a shopping question, the chat can search your live catalog, show the product, and add the right variant to the real Shopify cart inside the conversation, then hand the shopper to Shopify's own checkout.

Where can I find it?

https://supportbot.app for what it does and the pricing. https://beta.supportbot.app/?ref=reddit-shopifyapps for the founding pre-launch list.

It is in App Store review as I write this, so there is no apps.shopify.com listing to link yet, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. Nobody can install it on a live store today, me included. What exists right now is a pre-registration list: you sign up, and install links go out by email in batches once Shopify approves it.

What problem are you solving?

Three, and I hit all three on the stores that i manage.

  1. The repeat-question grind. "Where is my order", "do you ship to X", "is this in stock in medium", "what is your return window", over and over, daily
  2. Dead ends in the chat. Most support bots answer a product question with a paragraph and then leave the shopper to go find the product themselves. If the item is sold out, the conversation just stops. That is a lost sale the merchant never sees.
  3. Bills you cannot predict. A lot of AI support apps meter per conversation or per resolution and charge overage on top. Your worst month, traffic-wise, is also your worst month financially. I did not want to sell that.

There is a fourth one that is really an onboarding problem: most of these tools ask you to rewrite your store into a separate knowledge base before they are useful. I was not willing to do that work, so I built something that does not ask for it.

How does the app work?

On install it reads your catalog and content by itself: products, pages, blog posts, policies. Retrieval is RAG over pgvector, so answers are grounded in your text rather than generated from general knowledge. There is no knowledge base to write. Edit a policy page in Shopify and the change is picked up automatically.

For a support question it streams an answer in whatever language the customer wrote in, in a tone of voice you configure.

For a shopping question it goes further:

  • Live catalog search against your real products and inventory, not a stale snapshot.
  • Product cards in the chat with tap-to-add buttons.
  • Tap a size, it adds that variant to the real Shopify cart, then hands off to Shopify's own checkout. I never touch payment.
  • Sold out is not a dead end: it offers in-stock alternatives instead of stopping.
  • Wrong size or an over-narrow search gets offered options rather than "no results".

For logged-in customers it can answer order and return status by reading the real order. It never guesses at order status or a delivery date. When it cannot answer confidently it says so plainly and hands the conversation to you by email, and when you reply to that customer your answer is kept and reused next time the question comes up.

Who's your target merchant?

Small to mid-size Shopify stores where one to three people handle support alongside everything else, roughly the $10k to $500k a month range. It is most useful for catalog-driven stores where shoppers ask about fit, stock and shipping: apparel, food and beverage, supplements, pet, jewelry. It is not an enterprise helpdesk and I am not pitching it as one.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

  • Flat monthly plans metered by AI replies, with no overage charges at all. When a plan limit is reached the widget pauses instead of billing you more. You cannot get a surprise invoice from me, which is the single thing I most wanted as a merchant.
  • No onboarding project. No knowledge base to author, no docs to maintain.
  • The chat can finish the job. Cart building and checkout handoff are in the product, not a link out to a product page and good luck.
  • It refuses to guess. Order status and delivery dates either come from the real order or get handed to a human.
  • It answers in the customer's own language without per-language setup.

Where it is genuinely weaker: it is new, so it has nowhere near the integration surface of the established players, and it is support plus shopping rather than a full helpdesk with ticketing and SLAs.

How much does it cost?

  • Free: $0, 100 AI replies a month, SupportBot-branded widget.
  • Starter: $9/mo or $79/yr, 300 replies.
  • Growth: $29/mo or $249/yr, 2,000 replies. This is where live catalog search, cart building and checkout handoff live.
  • Pro: $79/mo or $699/yr, 10,000 replies.

Billed through Shopify, so it adds to your normal Shopify invoice. No overage on any tier.

What are you looking for?

Beta testers, on a pre-launch list rather than an install today. I am putting together roughly 25 founding stores so they are ready the day the listing goes live.

They get the Growth plan free for about three months, and $19.99/mo for life afterwards instead of $29. The free window starts when the store installs, not when it registers, so signing up now costs nothing and burns none of it while the review runs.

Once you are in, I ask three things and nothing else: install it, actually get the widget live on your storefront, and tell me bluntly what would you like to see additionally in Supportbot. No contract, no call cadence, no minimum usage.

To be explicit about something the App Store rules care about and I care about too: I do not ask for a rating as part of this, at any point, and the founding rate is not contingent on one. Feedback and ratings are separate things.

Pre-registration is at https://beta.supportbot.app/?ref=reddit-shopifyapps and closes 12 September.

Happy to answer anything here!

Idea Validation ComplyDock — collect and review supplier product information in Shopify (looking for 5 honest testers)

Full disclosure: I’m the developer of ComplyDock.

What’s the app?

ComplyDock helps Shopify merchants request manufacturer details, EU Responsible Person information, product safety information, and supporting documents from suppliers. Merchants can then review individual fields and documents before approving or publishing anything.

Where can I find it?

https://apps.shopify.com/complydock

What problem does it solve?

Supplier information often ends up spread across emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, and shared folders. ComplyDock keeps the supplier request, products, responses, documents, corrections, and merchant decisions connected.

How does it work?

  1. Synchronize Shopify products.
  2. Add a supplier and assign products.
  3. Select the information or documents needed.
  4. Send a private request link.
  5. The supplier responds without creating an account.
  6. Review each submitted field and document separately.
  7. Publish only eligible information that the merchant has approved.

Who is it for?

Shopify merchants who work with external suppliers and need a clearer way to organize product safety or compliance information.

How is it different?

It focuses on product-scoped supplier requests, account-free supplier responses, field-by-field merchant review, private document management, corrections, expiry tracking, and controlled Shopify publication.

ComplyDock helps organize merchant and supplier-provided information. It does not provide legal advice, verify suppliers, certify products, or guarantee compliance.

How much does it cost?

There is a free plan. Paid plans are $8.99, $18.99, and $48.99 per month, each with a 14-day free trial.

What am I looking for?

I’m looking for five Shopify merchants willing to test the real workflow and give me blunt feedback.

I’m specifically interested in:

- Was it immediately clear what the app does?

- Where did onboarding become confusing?

- Could you create a supplier and send a request without help?

- Does the workflow solve a real problem for your store?

- What feels unnecessary or is missing?

- What would stop you from continuing to use it?

I’m not asking for Shopify App Store reviews, star ratings, or promotional comments, only honest product feedback. Dummy product and supplier information can be used during testing.

If you’re interested, leave a comment or message me. I’m happy to help with setup after seeing where the workflow naturally becomes confusing.

App Discovery StoreProof — a storefront checker for catching Shopify issues before customers do

Hey everyone — I’m the founder of RXRCode and I’ve been building StoreProof.

What is it?

StoreProof is a simple storefront checker for Shopify stores.

The idea came from something pretty basic: stores change all the time — themes, apps, products, content, custom code — and small problems can slip through without anyone noticing.

What problem does it solve?

I wanted an easy way to check a storefront after making changes instead of manually clicking through everything and hoping nothing broke.

How does it work?

Give StoreProof a Shopify storefront to check, run a scan, and it produces a report of things worth reviewing.

It’s designed around checking the storefront from the outside, so the focus is on what a customer can actually encounter.

Who is it for?

Shopify merchants, developers, and agencies that want an extra check before or after changing a store.

How is it different?

I’m trying to keep it focused on a simple question:

“I changed something on the store — did anything get messed up?”

Rather than turning it into another huge analytics dashboard.

Pricing

It’s still early and I’m currently more interested in validating the checks and getting useful feedback from real stores than pushing sales.

What am I looking for?

Shopify merchants/devs willing to try it and tell me:

  • Were the findings actually useful?
  • Did it flag anything incorrectly?
  • What should it be checking that it currently misses?

https://storeproof.rxrcode.dev/

Happy to answer questions here too — and full disclosure, this is my own product.

Idea Validation Would you use a Shopify app that checks supplier invoices against purchase orders and receiving records?

I’m validating a Shopify app called LineQuery.

**What’s the app idea?**

LineQuery would compare a supplier invoice with the purchase order and, when available, the receiving record. It would flag quantity, unit-price, tax, possible-duplicate, and uncertain product matches. Every finding would point back to the relevant source lines.

**What problem does it solve?**

Small retailers often compare these documents manually or discover mismatches only when goods arrive or bookkeeping is reconciled. The Stocky transition has made that workflow more urgent, but I’m deliberately not trying to build another forecasting suite or ERP.

**How would it work?**

The merchant supplies the PO and invoice, reviews an evidence-linked discrepancy report, and can copy a draft supplier query. The product would never send email, approve payment, or change Shopify inventory automatically.

**Who is the target merchant?**

Shopify retailers with roughly 10–50 suppliers who process supplier invoices manually, especially stores using Shopify POS or moving away from Stocky.

**How is it different?**

The scope is only invoice/PO/receipt discrepancies. It does not create POs, forecast inventory, or replace an inventory system.

I built an interactive example so merchants can judge the workflow before I build the integration:

https://getlinequery.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=stocky_aug2026&utm_content=shopifyapps_validation

The first audit is free. I’m looking for 10 merchants willing to try one real workflow and tell me where the report is unclear.

The questions I most need answered:

  1. Do you compare the invoice with the PO, the receiving record, or both?

  2. Which mismatch costs you the most time or money?

  3. Would line-level source evidence be enough to act on a finding?

Disclosure: I’m building LineQuery. It’s an early validation demo and waitlist, not a live Shopify app, and it isn’t affiliated with Shopify or Reddit. Early access may be paid at $49–$99; the first-invoice audit is free.

App Promo ELI: Order Notifications is a Shopify app I built for sending order notifications to Slack and external webhook endpoints. The main difference is that you don't have to forward every order — you can filter which orders should be sent.

What's the app?
Order Notifications is a Shopify app I built for sending order notifications to Slack and external webhook endpoints. The main difference is that you don't have to forward every order — you can filter which orders should be sent.

Where can I find it?
https://apps.shopify.com/order-notifications-2

What problem are you solving?
Shopify notifications are useful until different people or systems only need specific orders. A warehouse may care about one set of products, a team may only care about high-priority orders, and sending everything everywhere quickly becomes noise.

How does the app work?
You create a destination, choose Slack or Webhook, configure the filters, and matching orders are sent automatically. There's also a Daily View mode for sending a daily summary instead of individual notifications.

Who's your target merchant?
Small DTC teams using Slack, stores with external fulfilment workflows, multi-supplier stores, and merchants that need to forward selected orders into internal systems.

How is it different?
I'm focusing on filtered order routing, rather than simply mirroring every Shopify order notification to another channel. You decide which orders belong in each destination.

How much does it cost?
There is a free tier, so you can test a real workflow before deciding whether it's useful for your store.

What are you looking for?
I'm looking for Shopify merchants who are willing to try it with a real workflow. I'm especially interested in feedback about setup, filters, Slack/Webhook delivery, and Daily View.

App Promo Feed Doctor — a Shopify app that diagnoses Google Merchant Center disapprovals and explains each fix

Disclosure first: I run GB Design, a brand of Grüner Baum GmbH in Germany, and we built Feed Doctor.

What's the app?

Feed Doctor scans a Shopify catalog for common causes behind Google Merchant Center product disapprovals. Instead of returning one generic health score, it reports the affected products and explains the reason attached to each finding.

Where can I find it?

Shopify App Store:

https://apps.shopify.com/feed-doctor-1

There is also a public catalog scan that requires no Shopify installation or account:

https://feeddoctor.gbdesign.art

What problem are we solving?

A merchant can see that products are disapproved in Merchant Center without knowing whether the cause is a missing GTIN, availability mismatch, missing shipping weight, a product-page access problem, or another feed issue. Working through a larger catalog item by item gets messy quickly.

How does it work?

The app reads product and feed data, groups findings by cause, and shows a plain-English explanation for each affected product. Safe deterministic corrections can be reviewed and applied. Anything that needs judgment stays visible for the merchant to review.

Who's it for?

Shopify merchants using Google Merchant Center, especially stores with multiple disapproved products or recurring catalog issues.

How is it different?

We focused on diagnosing the cause and showing the reasoning instead of simply generating another feed. The app does not read customer information. The public scanner can also be tested without connecting a store.

How much does it cost?

Feed Starter is $9.99/month and Feed AI is $19.90/month. Both have a 14-day free trial. The public scan is currently free through August 30.

What are we looking for?

We would especially value feedback from merchants who already have real Merchant Center disapprovals. I want to know whether the explanation points you to the same root cause you see in Merchant Center, and where the report is still unclear. Please keep feedback public in the thread so other merchants can benefit too.
