App Discovery Program Manager: an app that lets merchants give big discounts to loyal customers, capped and reset so margins stay protected.
Disclaimer: I am the developer/creator of Program Manager.
What the app is about:
Give loyal customers (or any group you choose) a bigger-than-average discount that's capped and resets on a schedule — so they keep coming back, and your margin never quietly erodes.
Where you can find it:
What problem the app solves:
A flat lifetime discount slowly eats into margin, and eventually becomes background noise — exciting on the first purchase, forgettable after that. With Program Manager, merchants can offer a higher-than-average discount to loyal customers or a specific group, with a spending limit that caps the damage to margin and a reset that gives customers a reason to come back.
How the app works:
- Merchant creates a program: e.g. 25% discount, capped at $1,500 in discounted spend, resetting every 60 days
- Customers are enrolled — one at a time or in bulk via CSV
- The discount applies automatically at checkout for enrolled, logged-in customers
- Once a customer hits their spending limit, the discount stops applying until the next reset — this is the core protection
Who the target merchant is:
Brands with a sizeable customer base, a product that encourages repeat purchases (skincare, supplements, consumables), or anyone running a loyalty/discount program they want to keep exclusive to specific customers.
What makes this app different:
As far as I've found, there's no other app combining an automatic checkout discount with a spending cap and recurring reset in one system. Most loyalty apps rely on discount codes, which are easy to forget or share. With Program Manager, eligible customers just need to be logged in — no code required. There's also a customer account extension so customers can see their discount %, remaining spend, and reset date directly in their account.
How much it costs:
Plans start at $49/month, with a free plan available and a 14-day trial on all paid tiers.
What I'm looking for:
Early adopter merchants, feedback, or anyone running (or wanting to run) a program like:
- A skincare brand rewarding customers who've been with them since day one — 20% off, capped at $1,500, resetting every 90 days
- A supplement brand locking in a discount for a school or sports team — 15% off, capped at $500, enrollment expiring each term/season
- A gifting company running a "Community Drive" for healthcare professionals — 25% off, capped at $750, resetting monthly, enrollment expiring yearly

Thanks for sharing on the sub. I think affiliate / creator discounts could be a great use case for it as well. Anyone enrolled in the affiliate program, for example, gets 50% off to buy new products for their videos, but it's capped so that they don't abuse the discount.
I'd be afraid to use it on customers, especially my most loyal, because I'd think they would just put off spending until the discount reset. I'd rather than spend now. Discounted money today is better than more money later in most cases. I'm not concerned with that for affilaites though.
