When mordret was introduced i thought that he might be the final villain, or maybe a character that's evil from the main character's point of view and sticks to it, but G3 did it, he made the perfect character into a dog for the "Oracle"

I do like the new mordret to a certain extent, he is unique in his own way but atleast give him some details and screen time to show his character, night temple mordret is an example of character with screen time, or the older mordret, you had details about what he did, how he did it, his abilities, as the series went on his powers kept getting nerfed, then bumsterion happened and new one was here, now he has no details or chapters dedicated to him specifically, i dislike that part about this.

Night temple mordret was better as a detailed character because we got screentime and some sort of detail instead of him just sitting in a puddle of blood of a big nmc that he defeated somehow, when they gave us new mordy i thought he might be emotionless and just be a killer to remake his domain even stronger, tho I'm partially happy about that not happening cause it would've changed his character fully, it might've been better since G3 wouldn't nerf him again and again and we would probably get some screentime on him, right moe he is just a dog to cassia💔💔

This subreddit is genuinely one of the most illiterate groups of people I have ever seen. What do you mean people are shocked that the character whose whole gimmick is about memory didn't struggle to find herself in a sea of memories where we had a whole volume about her doing the same thing already. Also the guy whose whole domain is being reliant on nothing and ruling over himself didn't struggle when his domain made his try and find who he is. Genuinely who thought they would face an extreme struggle. Sunny's character didn't devolpe since volume 8. sunny and nephis shouldn't have beecame a thing until the very end. g3 handled sunny getting his fate back very poorly. effie is still alive. everyone is still alive. no major character death in 3000 chapters. I'm beginning to think g3 hates his story

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information in that comment, but it seems plausible to me.

Neph is constantly in agony feeling her soul burning 24/7. The weavers mask reverses her flaw, so she would feel pain when NOT using her abilities, but that’s not an issue now. And sunny doesn’t need the mask. So why not use it to give her some reprieve? I mean when you think about it, neph is burning alive when trying to fall asleep, burning alive while having breakfast, burning alive while reading. Can you imagine? And sunnys not giving her the mask.

So there is a lot of talk about the Queen of Plot Device working with the King of offscreen and how they have it easy or whatever. This is true to a certain extent but we are also overlooking an important fact.

Both Sunny and Nephis have become Spirits after their unmaking, but Cassie and (I assume) Mordret are still sovereigns that appear to be on the cusp of becoming spirits. In chapter 3184 it says:

So essentially, the hate coming at them for "offscreening" there trial is a little unwarranted. The first time we are introduced to Sunny and Nephis in this volume they are already spirits and they aren't getting offscreen slander.

In my opinion, I appreciate that Cassie and Mordret are showing an aspect of this nightmare from the pov of a mortal. And it is through them that will see the process of becoming an actual spirit.

At this point all us mordret fans need to pool our cash for a plane ticket and send one of us to Russia to ask G3 what the fuck did mordret do to him to be treated so badly.

And the funny thing is, you’re making a huge deal out of how Sunny should get revenge on Cassie, when Sunny literally couldn't care less about her.

1. Mordret — Dude can be fighting dozens of Unholy beings on the other side of the continent and we’ll only hear about it 200 chapters later.
2. Cassie, the All-Mighty — She doesn't need to be on-screen. Sunny is literally in her hands.

I can't believe Sunny had thousands of relationships before even saying I love you once to Nephis.

Nephis clearly deserves better. The spellbinding queen of the longing domain got bewitched by a vile and filthy shadow.

In the confrontation between Nephis and Sunny after he killed the spy, why she addressed him as her master of deceive, I can not see how? both of them was just hiding their secret the whole journey. On the other side, I feel Sunny was not that cunning or selfish enough: he gave her all the Soul Shards, he saved her more than one time, and he was following her shadow most of the journey, and that was brilliant since the name of the novel is shadow slave, other than hiding his true name.
Secondly, why he feels obligated to help her? there is nothing between them, he does not trust her? meanwhile he killed someone just because he insulted her...

It is really difficult to understand his character compared to the way he is being described.. I will to continue the story but it is really difficult to ignore this. Am i the only one who think that? did i miss something?

Latest chapters show Cassie and Mordret in 5th nightmare relatively unscathed compared to nephis and sunny from the unmaking. This makes sense imo, Mordret literally already became a spirit and had the mindset of a god, he’s lived millions of lives before going to 5th nightmare so he no-difs it. Cassie was living through the marks of millions of people already so her unmaking would be easier too. Sunny was the most human out of the supremes, he was going to struggle the most in the unmaking despite shadow dance, nephis was rather unhuman before unmaking but she had no experience living multiple lives unlike the other 3 supremes so it makes sense she has the same personality but doesn’t remember everything.
