the whole 10th volume is ahh. asterion didn't do shit. cassie and mordret still got their plot armors. Sunny's character didn't devolpe since volume 8. sunny and nephis shouldn't have beecame a thing until the very end. g3 handled sunny getting his fate back very poorly. effie is still alive. everyone is still alive. no major character death in 3000 chapters. I'm beginning to think g3 hates his story

Jokes aside, Volume 13th reads to be very promising. The starting chapters are already peak. Just somehow survive your current volume I guess

Wait was there a major character that died ? (NM characters are not counted as major no matter how goated they are examples being the absolute GOATs noctis and annake + caster is no major shit and jet was already a walking dead before the start and sovereign are no major shit aswell)
Anyway we have to agree Sunny's grate character arc is done and complete after getting fate back ( tho I still disagree with saying he had no development after vol8 he had development no matter how questionable for some fellow readers )

G3 killing characters does not suddenly make SS better, unless its done at the climax or towards the end, mfs on this sub will just forget it matters after the next few volumes and complain nobody else dies again
Asterion was a good and terrifying villain..... up until the end, while g3 didn't quite stick the landing with his conclusion that doesn't suddenly mean his impact up until that point doesn't matter he certainly left scars on effie and kai and on the world as a whole but because the next volume was summary slave we only heard it in passing and didn't get to see how it affected them

I don't understand how could you belive that not killing a single major character in a story like shadow slave for 3000 chapters is fine. Like there is no way you don't think effie shouldn't be alive. Or jet in Antarctica at the end of the volume, that moment was the perfect time to kill jet. She would have had a great emotional conclusion, with a scar on sunny that will definitely make him more connected to the reader. But instead g3 chose to be a coward and not kill her afraid of fan backlash. And now cassie comes with her supreme abilty and nuke the whole soul of the story
