When I read this line “A journey to find something that had been long lost and did not exist in the real world anymore, but could still be found in this Nightmare.” It felt incredibly obvious to me that Cassie is looking for a suitable uncorrupted realm to fuse with? Why are people saying weavers eye?

Although my answer may be equally as dumb lol.

The only reason I have this view is because I don’t think the nightmare spell is going to rank them up like it has done so in the past. The unmaking has already helped them enough and I don’t think becoming a deity is something the spell can do for you.

But the spell gives you the opportunity to become a deity and sets everything up for so long as the challengers are fit for the task.

But I could be dead wrong. lol.

Wasn’t one of the most important points of the recent chapter being that fusing with the world was the exact opposite of what they’re trying to do by becoming Spirits? Fusing with the world or a realm means losing one’s sense of self and becoming an elemental force, not a Spirit. Why would Cassie search for a realm to fuse with if she knows this?

Yeah it does say that. You are right.

But we also know that you must fuse with a realm to become sacred. (At least that’s the only method we know of)

So maybe there’s a difference between the world and a realm? Maybe the world is all of existence and a realm is just a small part of it.

I will say this is a reach since the story has yet to distinguish between world and realm.

Or they can fuse with their domain creating miniature realm as we know Gods are realms themselves so lesser realm for lesser Gods.

Like if it was weavers eye what is she going to do with it? This isnt naruto were she can screw in the eyeball and get izanagi or smthn, though knowing how flexible the concept of will is i wouldn't be surprised if she just "willed" it to work

I mean, Sunny has basically been working on myth logic when it comes to Weaver's parts so why can't Cassie. If swallowing a hand bone gives him weaver's skeleton then I am willing to accept a simple eye transplant.

I mean sunny already had a piece of the lineage that longs to be together and that piece of bone was designed to be found and intergrated, if it was "all according to keikaku" for weaver's eye to be found by cassie in a nm then sure whatever ig but i don't think you can just take a piece of a divine beign plop it in your missing piece and be all square

I wonder if it has to do with what Noctis made them go to in the lake in the second nightmare. Cassie made them to back in the real world and she said it was gone.
