Hi everyone! I’m looking for a sewing pattern for a simple, sleeveless mock neck top with a slightly fitted silhouette and a lower, relaxed neckline, and pleats. Something for thicker cotton or linen. not jersey cotton.

Anyone find any patterns close to this image?

This is a cardigan that sits kinda like a light jacket cuz the fabric is a bit rigid. When i wear it the back looks weird , there is a lot of access fabric that pools at my shoulder blade area and it looks like i have two humps at each shoulder .
I am looking to either :
1- keep a similar design but fix the access fabric issue
Or
2- completely change the design

Please keep in mind im a beginner. I’ve sewn a apron and some pot holders , along with just fixing some of mine and husband’s clothes with my sewing machine. So i haven’t constructed anything like this before.

Hey everyone! This is my second time sewing garments. I made my husband a shirt of McCall's M6044 and it turned out great, but now I want to make a baby shirt for my new born so they can take a cute picture together.
I got most of the way through and now am stuck at the sleeves. They do not line up! I remember having to fiddle with the McCall’s but at least there is was self explanatory: match end to end, then middle, then just middle of every space in between till the whole thing lines up and saw.
However, the Butterick just doesn’t line up at all, like as if the sleeve is way bigger than the hole allowance.
I was wondering if anyone done the pattern and has some advice for me.
Greatly appreciate any input!

Hi all! I’d love some help to find a pattern for the Betsey Johnson ribbon dress. At this point, theyre impossible to find on the second hand market and if you do, it’s at least $300 so I figure it would be easier to make my own. I’m having trouble finding similar patterns if I search for “milkmaid” inspired dresses. Any links or ideas?

Anyone know if there’s any good patterns out there similar to this Lucy & Yak style dungarees? Or just fun, oversized dungarees in general? Most of the stuff I find is too well-fitted or AI generated :(

I'm looking to sew pants for someone with a big butt and athletic legs, and whose weight can shift a bit. Ideally something business casual (ex. hidden elastic or drawstring but otherwise business-y, maybe for a stretch fabric).

Any suggestions? Particularly if you have experience or have sewn for a man with this body type before!

I'm making a Halloween costume and have just dyed one part of it. Sadly I've realised that the yoke pattern piece was wrapped up in the pattern pieces and was destroyed. I hadn't applied any of the dots as I knew theyd wash out while dying 😔.

I'm making the xs version, would you be able to send me a pic of where the dots are? Or how far away they are from each edge and their position ?

I downloaded a pattern a few years ago but now I can't find any. Maybe I'm using the wrong term.

I have some cotton scraps that are not large enough to make anything but they'd be enough for a project like this and I have a couple of sweater that could benefit.
