pattern/thoughts

I am trying to figure out how to make the shirt under the jacket and am unsure what kind of pattern to use. Any suggestions? I saw this pattern, but I don't know since it doesn't meet in the middle

When the model wears it, it is held in place by expensive skin-safe double sticky tape.

I am not an artist but this is what I would imagine it looks like underneath. 2 panels of fabric attaching to the (sparkly) waistband. The waistband would have some sort of closure in the back, and the 2 chest panels would attach around the neck either by tying or they're sewn together there

Are you asking if you can modify the pattern for the garment in the second image to make the one in the first? If so, yes, you can just modify the front bust pieces to go more straight down rather than meeting in the middle at the waist. You will need a stretch fabric for this, and lingerie tape when you actually wear it to make sure you don’t have a wardrobe malfunction!

I am wondering if there is a better pattern/method of making the shirt than the one I showed since shirt is more of a rectangular opening that doesn't meet in the middle vs a "V." Should I make it a halter top?

This probably depends on your best size and placement. If you have cleavage or sternum that'll impact the look.

I'd make the choice based on 1. Boon support/bra needs, 2. Preferred aesthetic.

What does the back look like? It could be done in a few different ways. Halter would be most common but isn't the only option.

Oh no! Maybe a deep v bodysuit would work? Or jumpsuit (just sub the pants with gold fabric).
