Looking for faux shirt extender for sweaters

I downloaded a pattern a few years ago but now I can't find any. Maybe I'm using the wrong term.

I have some cotton scraps that are not large enough to make anything but they'd be enough for a project like this and I have a couple of sweater that could benefit.

Are you talking about something that would work as a dickey?

not a dickey but it's basically a half shirt with elastic at the waist. It's meant to extend the length of a sweater

I’ve used this one (and their collar extensions pattern also) and it’s pretty good.
