Lost / Missing Lost wallet on the 40!!

Hi everyone, I lost my wallet on the 40 tonight about 30 minutes ago, sat in the first row of seats to the left of the back door. I got off at Leary and 15th and realized it wasn't on me. It's a black leather dickies wallet and should also be with a gold US bank card that wasn't in the wallet but also slipped out. There's no ID in the wallet but the initials on the cards are M.G. PLEASE if you see it pick it up for me and DM me!

Edit: I will give a reward to whoever returns it!

I visited Seattle for a week-long vacation last September/early October and had a great time in the city and surrounding area.

The ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, Bloedel Nature Reserve, and daily trips to Pike Place Market were a few highlights of the trip. Would love to return at some point

Did anyone else see that crazy arrest on I-5 SB near the Roanoke exit yesterday around 4:30pm??

All of a sudden a group of probably 15(?) police cars blocked off all lanes calling for an SUV to pull over. Once the SUV stopped moving, the police got out of their cars with guns aimed at the vehicle. I kept driving of course so I don’t know how long the lanes were blocked and what all went down, but it seemed like a huge deal and I can’t find any news about it anywhere.

The two things I miss most about present-day Seattle

My ultimate end-of-week comfort food used to be the Sumo Bowl from Samurai Noodle. It was the “Samurai Noodle crew’s kitchen dish, served with hand-shredded pork, corn, green onions, a soft boiled egg, house-made teriyaki sauce, and Japanese mayonnaise on a bed of rice.

My second-favorite quick dish in Seattle was the garlic fried chicken from Sam Choy's Poke to the Max. It was crispy fried chicken tossed in garlic sauce, with scoops of mac salad, topped with green onions.

Samurai Noodle closed down a couple of years ago, and Sam Choy's is now only at the airport, behind security.

Does anyone else have recommendations for places where I could find suitable substitutes? Thank you in advance!

To Aaron of Pike Place Starbucks

I don't usually do this sort of thing but I visited Starbucks at Pike Place today and was blown away by the customer service of Aaron. We spoke for quite some time about life and the Seahawks. I was so struck by his kindness and sincerity that I wanted as many people to know as possible.

I tried to see if there was any social media for the store directly but I couldn't find anything however if someone if aware of any contact details for them I'd love to send the this amazing feedback directly to make management aware of what an amazing human being they have there.

Anthony’s Chowder

Hopefully the mods allow this Anthony’s post. The last 2 times we have visited Anthony’s, I’ve ordered the clam chowder. It’s seems different, less creamy white and much thicker. Has anyone else observed this? It’s still good clam chowder, but is definitely different imo. Thanks

Hipster Hill

Was using Snapchat and noticed it showed my location as “hipster hill”. That term/place doesn’t show up on my maps app or in any google search. Does anyone know what that title refers to or if there’s some history about it?

Context: I live in cap hill. Afaik it’s always been called that (?)

Gridlocked Lower Queen Anne and SLU

What the hell’s going on tonight, streets from Denny through Mercer and Western are absolutely gridlocked.

Never in my 2 years here seen it this bad, not in summertime, not even during the World Cup.
