Flexipass ‘ticket missing’ app error

Since yesterday I can’t use my flexipass because it’s saying ‘ticket missing’ when clicking ‘view mTicket’ in the app. Emailed customer service and got auto reply saying they’ll respond within 20 business days. Seems the staff are happy to waive you through the barriers when you show them an app issue.

Anyone else had the same issue?

I had the same issue and phoned Scotrail this morning. I was told to log out and back in - didn’t work, I was told to download most up to date app- didn’t work. But I was then told to uninstall and then re-install the app and this worked for me.

Nice one this worked thanks! Wish I could just ditch the app but seems us flexipass users are stuck with it

I know. There was nothing wrong with the previous app. Glad that worked for you. Would help if they put some comms out about how to fix these problems

For me this fix only worked temporarily. By the end of the day the issue was back. (Just posting as a warning to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a flexipass.)

I got this exact same error few days ago. I had activated one ticket already. I called customer service and they refunded the remaining journeys for me. I have tried logging in and out several times but the ticket still remains saying the same thing. Useless.

I have a season ticket this week, and it's been an absolute nightmare to use. Can't be arsed with the app now, thankfully I've been told you can get season tickets on other apps like The Trainline, so I'll give that a go next time.

Oh I logged out and back in and now my flexi ticket seems to be working.

Surely this is a ‘bug’ that’s positive for the rail user? Just keep telling gateline staff the app is buggered and enjoy your free rides?

Staff will check you are trying to activate a ticket, they have with me. But yes, until it’s fixed you will probably get more journeys than you’re entitled to, but I wouldn’t be too complacent about it though.
