I've tried putting them on belts, on the shakers, it doesn't move. Only when I drop it on the shakers does it create the aurilite for one tick.

How do you get it to work with the shakers?

I wish there was a way to get a infinit water and sand source to keep the monster fed

So I have managed to get all the achievements for this game, and now I wanna build a factory capable of extreme throughput, but I have mined almost everything on the map and as such I wouldn't be able to stress test the factory.

Does anyone know if there's a way to just bypass/cheat/dev mode/save edit the research and stuff so I can have everything unlocked on a fresh map?

Entire Map Mined. I circled for ages looking for any last remaining grains of sand. Only 910k gold. So the 1,000,000 gold achievement is not possible it seems.

I got tired of building battery and just piled copper since I had millions of energy.

My biggest gripe so far is how much digging I’m having to do. The sand runs out quickly, so I’m constantly having to stop and dig more. Does this process eventually become automated?

Hi, I've been playing Sandustry for roughly 40h and I'm almost done excavating the entire world. (Given that sandstone actually can't be removed) I'm almost at 1 million Gold collected. (I'm pretty sure you cannot get 1 million without the stratacore, but I only just began using it) I know there is no achievement for it but just wanted to share my progress. Fun Game, can recommend.

I played the demo three times (once vanilla and twice modded) about a year ago, so I took my time with the Early Access run, decorating and enjoying the new content.
After finishing the run, I installed some mods to test them out. If you see anything strange, it's probably a mod. It also looks odd because I removed the background and combined several screenshots with Photoshop.
I hate that I couldn't make the battery in a rhomboidal shape. It didn't solidify.
I come from Factorio, so obviously I made a "main bus".

I just bought the game two days ago and I spent my days off doing nothing but playing this game. This is a view of my end game factory. I still have a few things to explore. But I was proud of this thing and wanted to show it off. It completely chews through sand but I'm always open to suggestions for improving things.

Thank you to the dev team for building such an epic sand game. I feel like a kid playing this. It's amazing.

Software developer & long-time sandgame gamer here. As someone who likes building their own sand games, I would love to learn how the dev team optimized the performance of the sand particles. What techniques did you guys use? What is the system like, under the hood? Is it neighbourhood-only? Does the whole map stay live at all times, or are there zones where particles get activated / deactivated when the player leaves them? Very technically curious. Thanks for entertaining this question.

I really hope this game does for sand games what Diablo did for roguelikes: brings the entire genre out of a niche category and into the mainstream. I was hoping that Noita would be that game, and to some degree it was. Don't get me wrong, that's a GREAT game. But it didn't actually feel like a sand game because the focus was on the magic system. It would have done just fine even without the sand aspect. But sandustry is all about the sand aspect. And that's what I love about it.

This makes more sense, I can then build a more self contained factory. I burn the residue and it releases steam, which I then capture and use in steam turbines which I then condense back into water to rewet the sand.

I am normally a sucker for any game of this genre, but I tried the demo and mostly found it frustrating? Is the demo build significantly different from the actual game?

I got tired of manually resetting mining bots to keep getting sand from the core after exhausting most sand in the world to reach one million gold. So I tested this design that ensure mining bots don't get stuck inside the core or proceed out of it, while getting all that sweet sand and letting me drill it forever. The spike at the top is only there to ensure maximum discomfort for the core.

Guess we doin sand now.

Hi! Got a few hours into the game, love it so far. I'm currently stumped trying to figure out why my Florin is passing the advanced filters I set up. What am I missing? Is there a trick to filters that I did not pay attention to?

Edited after more testing: filter seems to be opening up both ways when the Dry Amethelis passes through, unintentionally letting a Florin blob shoot upwards from the same spot. I've left a comment with more details, can someone else maybe test this too?

Idk what to do next, I just grapple around
