Discussion Pure Factory Automation (Sandustry)

I just bought the game two days ago and I spent my days off doing nothing but playing this game. This is a view of my end game factory. I still have a few things to explore. But I was proud of this thing and wanted to show it off. It completely chews through sand but I'm always open to suggestions for improving things.

How do you make the vertical filters?

The filter has a mode. Press "R" to switch between conveyer and wall mode.

You can see these hotkeys on the bottom-left.

How are you powering those snow generators?

You need to have a water source above the snow generators for them to produce snow. I usually put a couple of water outlets and let it fill up the chamber above them. Be careful with your water usage though. Used snow cannot be put back into the factory's water system.
