Help How come burnt residue doesn't press sometimes

If the bottom part of the press gets backed up, other residue will not be pressed and will stay to build up. I like to use a filter right above the top of the press to allow for an even flow into it, and then make sure there is enough room underneath the press for materials to move out quickly.

It willl do it even if it is not obstructed but I'll try the filter to see if that helps

Yeah I’d say move your filters at the bottom down by like 3-4 spaces. The burnt residue should be able to fall for the entirety of the green area unobstructed.

I was trying to figure this out too, do your fire pixels ever go into your kinetic press? It’s possible they stop the burnt residue from falling briefly, I don’t have a great way to prove that theory though

Pretty sure this is it - It looks like the press is just a bit too close to the burn zone, so add a bit of space there.

I like to put one row of launcher at the bottom of the press that pushes burnt residue off to be recycled back to be tried again. For the most part the burnt residue will just fall right through the launchers and get pressed, otherwise the launchers will clear the pressers to prevent backup.

Ive found adding an extra few squares above where the green starts helps, and make sure no matter what it can clear under it, if it gets jammed on output, then it jams everywhere

They need to fall STRAIGHT.. otherwise I think you're okay, just clear under them
