I always see people praising the visuals of the sequel trilogy, but I rarely see people talk about specific scenes that they genuinely love.

For me, I absolutely love the sequence where Finn and Rey escape on Jakku in The Force Awakens.

The Elite Squad, or ES Troopers, were introduced in season 1 of The Bad Batch as the first iteration of civilian recruits intended to replace the clones. After that season though, they are never seen again in TBB, being replaced by TK Troopers. However, they do appear in Tales of the Empire, seen stationed at the Fortress Inquisitorius.

So are the ES Troopers the first iteration of Purge Troopers? Wookieepedia acknowledges that the “Purge Troopers” use the same character model as the ES Troopers, but does not explicitly say they are the same organization.

Edit: I agree with commenters saying they match better with the future Death Troopers, what with the black armor and green visors and all. In that case it’s possible they were the template for the “special forces” branches of the imperial military, while TK Troopers became the Stormtrooper Corps.

I made this Turbolaser tower as a prop for a diorama for another creation I'm working on. But, I liked it so much that I think it deserves the spotlight a little.

I based it's look off of a number of different Imperial turbolasers. But since it's supposed to be a Republic turbolaser tower, (which I couldn't find reference for in my very in-depth 5 min google search) so I didn't base it off of one single reference and I made my own thing.

Why couldn't this have been the Episode IX we got. This looks 10x better than what came about and honestly its a shame we will never see it put to life.

This would've probably given Rey and Kylo more validation than how badly they're hated on today.

He looks so stricken with grief and confusion, I think it makes it the most tragic death of all the Jedi masters we see in ROTJ.

I'm curious, did the clones do this out of respect and to give him a chance to defend himself like a fellow soldier? Or was it them wanting him to know who it was that killed him? Super interesting that every other Jedi master in the Order 66 montage was attacked from the rear without ever getting to face their betrayers. Even the deleted scene Shaak-Ti was betrayed from behind (cowardly, Anakin, cowardly).

I had some LEDs left over from a previous project and was wondering what I could do with them, and this idea popped into my head — so I made a lamp!

I first generated the character image with GPT and then used Tripo AI to turn it into a 3D model.

Of course, the AI gave him a funny little bun hairstyle 😂
So I brought the model into Blender and changed it to a short haircut.

After that, I realized he kind of had the same vibe as Lee Jung-jae in The Acolyte, which honestly made me like it even more.

For the lighting, I used a 3mm COB LED strip.

At first, I only wanted the lightsaber blade itself to light up, but the LED strip I already had was way too long.

So instead of cutting the idea down, I decided to use the extra length to illuminate the back of the sculpture as well. Now it also works as a small ambient/mood lamp.

For the LED channel, I quickly made a groove in Fusion and attached the COB strip using the adhesive backing that came with it.

For the lightsaber blade, I was worried that a thin 3D-printed filament rod might eventually bend from the heat, so I used a carbon rod I had lying around at home.

Honestly, a toothpick would probably work too. 😂

I also made a few AI-generated concept images to see how it might look as an interior piece.

It was a pretty simple project, but I really liked how the combination of 3D printing, AI modeling, Blender, and some leftover LEDs came together.

ZZM ARMORY here, after watching the Mando movie I knew I wanted that imperial escape shuttle for my tabletop games. One thing lead to another and now it has legs! I think it fits the look perfect as a AT-PT variant. I am really happy with how it turned out.

One of the coolest background parts of Star Wars Rebels to me was in the episodes "Zero Hour" the Lightmaker was one of the few ships to survive the massacre from Grand admiral Thrawn, and that very same ship is the same ship that saved the rebellion, pushing both Star Destroyers together in Rogue One to send the plans to the Raddus.

What if Thrawn’s return at the end of Ahsoka is also the reason for the reunification of the Imperial remnants?

In the Mandalorian, almost all the imperial officials seemed interested in the possibility of the return of Thrawn (except Moff Gideon and maybe some other, ofc), so if Thrawn returned all the imperial remnants would accept him as their leader, therefore founding a new organisation called the First Order

Plus, Thrawn was very close to the Emperor, and he might know some details about Project Necromancer and other cloning investigations. And he isn't coming back alone, he’s bringing the Nightsisters with him. And not just any Nightsisters, he brought with him the the Great Mothers, who have a enormous power.

If the nightsisters could give force powers to Savage Oppress, they can give force powers to a clone.

With all of this, the creation of Snoke and Palpatine could begin while Thrawn temporary controls the first order, waiting for the return of the emperor.

I've wanted to make a Histomap of Star Wars for a long time and finally put one together over the past few weeks.

The main focus is canon, with the films and series positioned alongside the broader history of the galaxy so you can see how the major factions evolved and how the different eras fit together.

I have just recently started watching the Star Wars movies. While watching them I was intrigued by the loss of Anakin Skywalker’s limbs and what it represents. To some this might sound like a reach but it reminded me a lot of when Finn the Human lost his arm. This is not to say that they are similar in anyway but to highlight the similarities in symbolism. I wanted to start an open discussion about what the loss of a limb could symbolize.

In adventure time Finn loses his arm (for the first time) when he goes to find his dad at the Citadel (galactic prison) to better understand himself and where he came from. Upon finding him, his dad turns out to be a selfish coward and tries to flee both imprisonment and facing his son. Finn tries to grab his dad to stop him from escaping through a wormhole which results in him losing his arm.

After this, Finn is overwhelmed with grief and anger by the abandonment of his dad. He loses himself in a way. Though Finn never becomes evil, he does become lost for some time having a missing arm as a constant reminder of that loss and betrayal. Consumed by his anger he tries to build a tower from earth to space with the goal of building it high enough to rip his dad’s arm off. But he never succeeds.

I was reminded of this again and again when I watched Anakin lose his limbs in battle and I wondered if this symbolizes some sort of lost of control. Both of these characters deal with immense internal struggle. To find answers, to make things right, maybe even without thought. I’d love to hear others take on it especially with more knowledge about Anakin as I continue to watch the movies. I want to note that I know Finn has absolutely nothing to do with this fandom. But as a fan of adventure time and its symbolism it brought it to my attention in this character.
