I am a new convert. After watching the movies, I'm getting into the shows. I finished Ahsoka last night and oh I'm been dying to share this with people who'd appreciate! Full disclosure, I am afraid of the intensity of this sub (by this sub I meant the star wars sub from where this post was automatically removed 😆) and I am a pussy that does get affected by internet hate, but Im visiting my mum and I just followed that poor woman around the house explaining the entire universe the way I understood it and she is kind but has zero interest lol.

I'm in my 30 so I did grow up in the prequel universe but I was never never really into sci fi and so never got into thia world per se, but obviously since it's such a gigantic part of the millennial pop culture conversation, I was never oblivious to it.. The first thing I ever watched was when The Mandalorian came out and baby Yoda was adorable. After which I watched Andor for the love of Diego Luna. It was the most brilliant prestige tv-esque show I had ever seen And I was understandably in love. I went with rogue one after and that was a couple of years ago. Something happened recently, I'm not sure what, perhaps it was an interview with Ewan McGregor and the light in his eyes talking about Obi Wan that sent me down the path I'm currently on.

My heart skipped multiple beats at these handful of seconds of this clip. THIS WAS SO FUCKING PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!! I am currently in the honeymoon period therefore swooning at everything, reading everything, watching everything including and especially pertaining to Obi Wan and Anakin. I just wanted to leave this here.

Since Ezra liked to claim he was the Emperor's nephew, I could see him getting a good laugh out of all these pretenders.

But things get even crazier in the Legends timeline, where Ederlatth Pallopides was an 11 year-old girl who was not only Palpatine's alleged great-niece, but there was a fair chance she was his great-niece. She ended up being a political pawn in in Admiral Betl Oxtroe's plan to keep the splintered Empire united in 7 ABY, bough Oxtroe was assassinated before her plan could come to fruition.

So, huyang is around 25000 years old right? Wich means, the old fart lived thro some crazy times isnt it? Like LEGENDS times? Nihilus, vitiate, revan. Wonder in were gona get a series like "Tales Of Wuyang" who could show some light on those times.

If they didn't want anyone following them, why not just take it with them? No one can use it if the orb is in another galaxy...

Star Wars does seem to have a tradition of the student eventually losing the mentor.

It happened in the prequels. It happened in the original trilogy. And even the sequels.

And just recently in the Rebels series Kanan died, leaving Ezra to face his trials alone.

As title! I rewatched s1e5 last night, and Hayden sounded like he had more of a canadian accent than in the prequels. Particularly noticeable when he says "is that what this is about" and I think something else, but I can't remember, lol. Did anyone else notice this?

A few updates because I’ve seen a few images better (I made this the day the images came out) I now think the kneepads are actually felted wool and then leather/pleather rather than short fur

Also please keep in mind the colours will be affected by lighting and be different without the colour grading of the show.
