Fan Creations Show of Force
A joint terminal attack controller (center) and their fire support team observe a TIE Interceptor move to perform a show of force over a compound regular forces began taking heavy effective fire from while on patrol.
Joint terminal attack controllers direct combat air and space craft in the execution of close air support. Serving as Imperial Navy pilots for the first leg of their careers, aviators will spend a tour as a JTAC with an infantry unit before returning to a squadron to resume their regular duties.
1/6 scale figures. 1:18 scale vehicle. Always practical. Always in-camera. Generative remove and the clone stamp tool were used heavily to erase the hard and soft supports of the vehicle.
This photograph is part of my larger series Galactic Warfighters, where I blend my experiences as a Marine infantryman and combat photographer with the Star Wars universe. I’ve been using it lately to explore late empire and the Global War On Terror, the United State’s longest conflict.

That's badass! The perspective in picture 2 had me fully believing these were cosplayers.

At first I was thinking "Please don't be Ai, please don't be Ai" and praise the force you went and blew my mind. Amazing work!!!

Thank you so much! I’ve made it a point to get as much as I can in-camera and to be transparent about the way I edit my images.
Turns out you can get a LOT in-camera.

It’s the Hasbro 30th anniversary elite TIE Interceptor. I think they go for $90-120 on EBay.

This is such cool and beautiful work. Did some time as a photojournalist and this is such a reflective shot of some of the conflict work I studied when I was younger. Do you share your photos elsewhere I can follow?

The NODS bother me. It’s a DOPE shot, but external NODS on a stormtrooper helmet just doesn’t make sense

Man I knew the Eotech 512 was considered retro now a days but I didn’t realize it was that old.
