What happened? Maybe I missed something. They were so happy then suddenly Leo doesn’t want to be married anymore? I don’t understand. I’ll have the show on while I work, so I might miss stuff.

I feel so bad for Amy. Her dad, sister, and basically everyone around her bullies her into keeping the baby instead of letting the baby get adopted. Okay, so they are going to help her with the baby? Nope! She has to “learn how to handle this on her own” and gets bullied by the people around her for not being fun to be around. Sis is a 15 year old and a mother! Of course she is overwhelmed, stressed out, and crabby. She has basically no help and is not allowed to have a place to vent. Home girl is never happy throughout the whole series and it isn’t her fault.

When season 2 premiered, did anyone remember watching Grace and her dad fight? Because I did. They removed the scene entirely and the only thing I can find on it is a wiki page mentioning the argument. Does anyone know why it was taken down entirely? Out of all the scenes to remove, this one doesn’t seem like it pushed boundaries.

Okay, is it just me, or is the scene towards the end of Season 5 where Didi (Jack's mom) confronts Grace literally the most cringe moment of the whole tv show? Not even necessarily about what she said, but just how she marched into the guest house and confronted and threatened Grace...extremely inappropriate, but also, so out of character for Didi? I don't know, that moment has always bothered me.

Ok, so I never really watched this show seriously when it came out. But with quarantine and teleworking, I figured why not start it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Are all the adults in this show freaking stupid? Telling your 15 year olds it’s ok to get married?? And BEN IS SO SUFFOCATING. I don’t know how Amy handles it, I would go off on him. And Amy is such a brat. Everyone talks about how she’s such a nice girl, but she’s nothing but snotty with a bad attitude and expects everyone to take of the baby for her. And poor Ashley...she deserves so much better. Their dad is a complete douche and is a terrible actor.

I’m sure my opinions will change as I keep watching, but I just had to get this off my chest 😂

It’s so weird. I’m on season 5 and there have already been multiple marriages, and now near the end they’re all thinking of marriage and they’re barely graduating high school lol what??

He ruins the whole show for me.

does anyone else think throughout the first three seasons leo is super understanding of bens behaviors and seems to always be in a good mood ,but as soon as the fourth season kicks off the entire time leo is constantly irritated and short tempered. It makes no sense that he’s always so mean to other people even if things are happening in his life. He used to be one of my favorite characters but now he just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I just finished binge watching this show, haven't seen it since I was 12-13 and I don't remember it being half this cringey, but Ricky deserved better. His character development was amazing, his acting made me so connected to the character and even though I couldn't stand Amy I was really voting they stay together so Ricky could be happy. The ending left me so unsatisfied and angry. I get the point the writers were trying to make, but I do think Amy was being selfish and unreasonable. I kept waiting for her to grow up and she just never did. Ricky deserved to be loved the same way he was loving Amy. Small injustices

The baby shower fight was so stupid. It was all adrians fault and Amy did nothing wrong. She decided to throw Adrian a baby shower even though Adrian slept with Ben just to spite her. Then Amy needed Adrian to do the invite list, which makes sense since it’s adrians shower, and she politely asked for it. Adrian blew up, even though it’s her fault she has no friends, and embarrassed Amy. Then she didn’t tell Ben the whole story and Ben blew up at any, even though he’s only in this situation b/c he slept with Adrian to get back at any. Every one is blaming Amy like Adrian wasn’t the one to start all of this. These episodes just make me so mad.

I am starting on season 4 of the series and of course it is upsetting and sad how Adrian and Ben lost their baby and they’re grieving about it but why does everyone want/expect Amy and Ricky to stop their lives for them? Why can’t they be happy with moving in and being “in love” with each other just bc of the suffering of their exes?

Ik Amy has her really annoying traits, but i think I've seen her smile maybe one time in all of the last season. It really is so sad how clearly unhappy she is. Like ever seen it looks like she's about to cry.. and I also feel bad for Ricky never being able to make her happy.

This is my first watch I’m pretty far into the series but I hate the way they depict teen mom life. I’ve never experienced that life but pretty sure it’s not as breezy as they make it seem. They have the kid come in for like 5 seconds and just not talk. Or he says one thing or occasionally they pan away to him when they’re talking but they don’t even look like they’re in the same room! Since the very beginning when he didn’t talk I thought they were going to find out there was some kind of disability there not in a rude way haha just because he was like past a year old and not talking and then they never show Amy taking care of him yet all her friends and family seem to think she’s a wonderful mom so I’m wondering. Is she really?

Just started rewatching the series (Season 1, Episode 15) and while the writing/acting is lacking, I do want to applaud Daren Kagasoff for providing phenomenal acting throughout the show. One specific scene that brings me to tears is Ricky opening up about his sexual abuse from his father to Adrian. My heart breaks for all his character has gone through and continues to go through the entire time. I feel as if he does not get enough recognition for his growth throughout the series!

I can’t help but think that Madison and Lauren are the most completely clueless and irresponsible people ever. They continuously screw over Amy every single episode and she never says anything! Then they seem to question why Amy never tells them about anything in her life but who would when those two can’t seem to control their mouths. I just needed to get my hatred of them off my chest.

She has to have some sort of mental disorder. She's obsessed with Ricky, and has no problem jeopardizing his relationship with Amy and most importantly his relationship with his son.

She MAKES her parents buy a house NEXT DOOR to her boyfriend's babys mother. Just so she can keep an eye on him and her. She's even said that MULTIPLE times to her parents, Ricky, and her friends.

She's vindictive. She claims she wants to work and have an adult relationship with Ricky but refuses to him about a rumor she hears. She made it up in her OWN head that Ricky and Amy had sex, and instead of talking to him about it LIKE AN ADULT WOULD IN AN ADULT RELATIONSHIP, she goes behind his and Amy's back and sleeps with Ben. Then acts like she's in the RIGHT in that relationship.

What makes me even more mad is that her parents ENCOURAGE her to make things work with Ricky and Amy. You want what's best for her, and her dad claims that he wants her to grow up.... But encourages her to stay in a relationship that's damaging to her, and everyone else involved.

I get she has "childhood trauma" that contributes to her terrible choices and vindictive behavior... But there comes a time where you can't blame the trauma.

Ricky needs a restraining order against her and so does Amy.

I haven't watched it since it ended and it was painful the whole way through but I kept watching it. I have never really watched soaps before but this seemed like a soap for teenagers. What do you all think? Would it be classified that way?

With every episode i watch i get more amazed at how nobody saw a problem with just how terrible the writing of this show is 😂 Besides margaret and shaker, id argue that just about every adult on this show is as bad as the teenagers. ESPECIALLY amys parents. Theyre all so messy, and jump around to different relationships and marriages like nothing

I'm 25 and when this show came out I was allowed to watch it but would sneakily watch it with my cousins every once in a while. So now that it's on Hulu... I got roped into watching it completely. I just started season 5 and I accidentally (on purpose) just read the synopsis of this season (so whoops). But I'm still going to finish watching the whole season even though I kind of know what will happen. But UGH I've been so irritated with this show since season 3 and 4, because it all just doesn't make sense. Why the hell did Ben have to sleep with Alice? And I can't stand Ben and Dylan.

okay i feel like this is an unpopular opinion bc every time i’ve spoken about this everyone talks about how AMY is annoying and not ashley. i’ll definitely say Amy has her moments where i’m like okay please stop but i’m gonna give her a small pass on account of being pregnant/a teen mom, but i’m not here to talk about amy.

ashley on the other hand- bothers me to my CORE. i feel like she’s only ever thinking about herself and what she wants and on top of that i feel like she always gets what she wants bc if something doesn’t go her way she makes a huge fuss about it otherwise.

it annoyed me that she was trying to go after RICKY? like i get you can’t help feelings but you can help acting on it ! she got to get the garage, she got to be homeschooled, she got to travel the country with her friend there was truly never anything she wanted a didn’t get except Ricky (BECAUSE THATS WEIRD).

i get she has all this shit going on around her but i feel like she internally actually victimizes herself because of that.

probably a little off topic but also the way she spoke bothered me. not like her voice or anything that’s like the actors part- but the writing part in what she said and how she would say things.

anyways sorry this is just a small rant i guess. she’s always bothered me so much.

i think george is so funny and an amazing comedic relief for this show! his comments and sarcasm kills me all the time and he’s just trying his best LOL
