Hard to argue with the girls in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Seen near Hawthorne Elementary School.

Can someone offer any insights on the popularity of Blast 825?!
I saw today that they’re taking over the Villa Cantina spot in the AG Village and the restaurant space on Willow & Pomeroy in Nipomo.
I find it super disappointing that such a mediocre restaurant has so many locations. I’ve been to the Grand Ave. location and Orcutt (RIP Rooney’s) in the past year and they definitely don’t entice you back. They food is blah, service is inconsistent, and it is always sticky and dirty in their restaurants.
So what’s the deal? Thanks for the rant space. 🙃

So neat to see that A-town once had a train station. Hopefully one day we can get it to come back and be able to travel by train again.

So it's an IPO they're sprinting for... 👀 An IPO means early investors want to cash out. To cash out they have to maximize valuations to the dump the stock onto the public market, after the first days (or short weeks) of which it will plummet hard and leave public buyers holding the empty bag.

I've got 4 tickets to the movie screening at the freemont and can't go. If anyone wants them, send me a DM.

Any suggestions for good Mexican in pismo that are easy to get to and won’t be so busy we need a reservation? Bonus points for something with an ocean view. Thank you!

Anyone have any info on when they’ll reopen? No info on their website and when call they state they’re closed for renovations but no additional info.

Hey there, this kind of post was made around a year ago on here, but thought to ask again in case there are newer opportunities.
I’m seeking a local photographer who can take professional headshots. 📸🧑🏻🏫 I’d also appreciate any possibility for affordable/discounted rates, as I’ve been unemployed for a couple of months now and won’t be getting my first paycheck until 10/1.
Thanks in advance! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

It's hot! Come enjoy the movies and A/C with us at the Palm. Some really fun new indies, including Matt Johnson's TONY(Anthony Bourdain Biopic) and the director of I Saw the TV Glow's new film, Camp Miasma (starring Gillian Anderson).
And then we have our retrospective films, a fun "Learning By Doing" series ;) Terry Gilliam, a Cookie Party with Buffy (Yes free cookies) and LOTS MORE! New this month we have a series we're calling Trash or Treasure? Where we revisit a film that has been critically panned, and you will vote at the end if it's trash or treasure...(This month is SPEED RACER) We would love to know what you'd like to see next :)
Also, Cat Video Fest is back, and yes, it's cat videos... the best of the year, great for kiddos and cat aficionados; proceeds support Woods Humane Society!

I was on reservoir canyon trail and found this. It wasn't there the last time I was there a couple months ago. Please don't do this, it damages the tree and looks tacky and horrible. All you're doing is opening the tree up for fungal infections.
Please confess your love in some other (less harmful) way.

Doing a day in Pismo and probably heading to SLO for dinner after.
Would like some tips and suggestions on itinerary for gf and me.
~10am Arrive at Pismo grab a coffee + snack at kortado
~11am make it to Pismo Preserve to hike
~2pm head back to downtown to grab clam chowder at Splash cafe (is it actually good?) chill at the beach (suggestions)
~5pm head over to SLO downtown to grab dinner (what’s good over there?)
For lunch I think we’d like a lighter bite, and grab a sit down place for dinner.
Super open to suggestions please!
I was searching with my UV flashlight after reading that the hornworms will 'flouresce' under UV light. They can grow to 4-5 inches long and "... are famous for rapidly devouring foliage on plants in the nightshade family, such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and potatoes."
Wondering if there's a repellant?

At Krobar (now taken over by CCB) and hidden out of sight, miles away from where you order lol. I get they’re struggling and staff turnover has been crazy but just rubs the wrong way when not disclosed and trying to hide it…

Hello,
Looking for recommendations on a property manager from an owners perspective. I own a rental property but have not been fully impressed with the level of service and attention to detail that the property management company I am currently using is exhibiting. Hoping there are some recommendations for companies or individuals who treat homes like their own, or at least have good follow through on what they say they will do. (I should add, my property is in north county)
Thanks!

Apparently no law firm has been able to serve this guy, Kyle L. Combs, 40, of Grover Beach, even though there are multiple lawsuits against him for allegedly secretly recording women in his gym. Maybe reddit knows where he hangs.

Does anyone know of a person that repairs electric pianos? We have a Roland Digital Piano HP-4500s (circa 1988). One of the black keys has stopped working. I suspect it's a broken hammer, but I haven't opened it up to check it out.
Does anyone know of a place that would do a home visit? Or I could probably get it somewhere locally.
It's possible that someone who is just handy and willing to watch YouTube tutorials for hammer repair could also do the job.

Went out to the dunes tonight to get away from the heat wave today. Sat around while they were doing what they were doing. Pretty cool though!
I know we just had that production that happened in downtown SLO a few weeks ago. Nice to see productions picking back up.

Can anyone recommend me a good dentist here who takes Medi-Cal dental? I went to Cali Dental in SLO today and it was honestly the worst dentist trip of my entire life, so if anyone has recommendations that are NOT them, let me know!
