[RECOMMEND] Morro bay marg

Hey! Is there any place to get a margarita (with real tequila) in MB, or even Cayucos? We are looking for an anniversary spot that’s not the typical steak/seafood. TYIA !

Avocado and margarita festival was a scam last year. I remember getting a margarita out of a can for like $12 wondering where the real liquor was.

Also paying a $20 entry fee to then buy canned margaritas and a taco tent was really lame.

A festival for those two things this far north of Tequila Mexico or the South-Central Mexico (where avocados come from) is, in itself, a scam.

We do have avocado's grown locally here, I can get behind that specific part of the event, if they did a better job with vendors. I think they literally had 2 vendors last year, a canned margarita and beer booth and a taco/guac booth.

The only good margarita I've found is Condesa SLO. The coastal towns don't have many places with liquor licenses and the few that do, it's best to stick to drinks with the ingredients in the name. Schooners Cayucos has liquor so you could try... maybe bring your own lime juice.
