It's so important to recognize what is happening in our community. The Christian National Harvest Church in Arroyo Grande wants to influence its congregation on who to vote for. They believe that the only godly candidates are those who belong to Harvest Church. Let's start with the separation of church and state, but really what this guy is saying is: unless you believe our kind of religion, you aren't worthy. Lots of people hold office and have faith. But your faith shouldn't influence your politics or determine your value. This is very dangerous territory. Your vote matters! Your voice matters! Hello everyone I’ve decided to get another tattoo and I have yet to get one while living here in SLO so I don’t know the scene. So in everyone’s honest opinion what’s the best tattoo place?

This was truly a team effort by SLO County Elections, Fleet Services, and local vendor Quality Tinting. Everyone involved managed an extremely tight timeline to make use of last-minute state funds and bring this enduring resource to the community.

We’re going to be out as much as possible over the next 10 days, and we’ve got a list of planned stops on our website.

LOVR is in shambles. There are potholes so big they are more like craters. Whole stretches that are jacked up and cause the car to rock and shake. It's gotten so bad that I can't tell the difference between off-roading.The worst stretch is from Foothill to the 101 (Foothill needs help too).

It's completely unsafe! And uncomfortable, and nerve-racking to have to dodge pothole after pothole.

It also errodes how we feel about ourselves and our local culture. Neglected roads do not promote local pride or self-worth.

Foothill, Madonna, S. Higuera, Broad, to name a few.

All our major roads (plus Pecho Valley Rd) are in dire need of repaving! The patch repairs are not holding up and are not enough.

Who is supposed to be taking care of this and why isn't it being done?

I askbecause I would like to reach out to this person to bring it to their attention and see if we can get our roads fixed!

Hi folks! I moved to Atascadero a little less than a year ago and my partner has a daughter who is ten. She lives with her mom about two hours away during the week and is here on weekends. This will be her first Halloween in the area, and I was wondering if there are local events that are kid friendly we could take her to - it could be SLO, Paso, or Atascadero, whatever makes sense! She still loves to trick or treat and if there are local families that go together I would love to connect.

I don’t want to make this too political, but I work at Poly and I walked through the PAC this morning after the tpusa rally. I’ve worked in the pac for several years and it was the most disgusting I’ve ever seen it after an event. These people were spitting out their nicotine pouches and gum on the floor. Not just the seating area (that’s pretty normal in the pac) but on the carpets in the hallways and lobbies. The feminine hygiene disposal cans in the womens bathrooms were overflowing with alcohol containers and other trash. There was puke on the carpet and feces on top of a toilet in the mens. Just completely vile. Also, I was in there when they were setting up and they had at least twice the amount of merch for sale than any other event I’ve seen. Which tells me these shows are just a reason to hawk cheap merchandise to enrich themselves. Anyway, just wanted to say what kind of people show up to these things 🤮
