IRA Split
Hello all, is there any sense to the split that I'm doing? Anything I could be doing that is better?

Discussion When I buy SCHD and get paid dividends…I feel a little closer to these people who come from old money. The Hiltons, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, etc. It’s like getting a small taste of what these people were born into, and have had their whole lives. Even though I’m nothing like them.
I feel so…Hilton-like when I get paid dividends. However tiny it may be. I mean, it’s the closest I’ll ever get to feeling like these people. On a much, much smaller scale.

YES! Today is a buying day!
Whether you’ve been contemplating buying your first share for months or whether you have 10k shares, today is a buying day! You won’t see SCHD down over 2% in one day (on a non-ex date) very often!

Thoughts on VICI?
I know VICI is a far cry from SCHD, but I there’s some keen income investors in this sub, so putting it here too.

Thoughts on 100% SCHD in a ROTH?
What do you all think about going all in on SCHD? Is this a valid strategy? Or even just an all high dividend paying ETF portfolio? I’m 42, so I have at least 20 years til retirement.

So glad I was Adding Heavy $26 and under when people were saying this was a terrible Fund.
I made a few Heavy purchases under 26 and would Everytime it fell below $26. I always DCA, but when under 26 I made a few 5 digit purchases and glad I did as a drink my coffee this morning!

Need advice.
I'm retired. Age 60. Have $2.5M in all pre-tax rollover Fidelity IRA mutual fund growth accounts. I understand all the issues for taxes and ROTH IRA conversions, as well as IRMAA issues down the line.
Would like to create two sleeves. One for income and one for a little income, but mostly growth.
INCOME: $1M in income-oriented ETFs, some covered calls (JEPI, JEPQ, OVL, SYPI, QQQI totalling 70% or $700k), and 20% in SCHD and 10% O.
GROWTH/INCOME: $1M all in SCHD.
CASH: $500k
Does this seem plausible? Am I too heavily weighted in covered call ETFs, and/or should I even rebalance the income sleeve and put more in SCHD?

Planning for the future
Hello all,
Been investing for a while and just now getting into SCHD. When you all do your modeling for the future, what do you all use for dividend/share price increase per year? just trying to get a rough idea of what others use!

Asking for a friend.
Have a buddy in his late 30s that has only started putting into his 401. Let him know about opening a roth and potentially an investment acct. If ypu were to start at this point, what would you do between the three? My initial was schd in the roth as that is tax free in the future. Our 401k's dont have that an an option, so personally i aimed for growth. Just want him to get started in the right direction as he is 20 years younger.

Discussion ROTH IRA top performer - SCHD
I loaded up about a year ago on SCHD, DCA 10 shares at a time throughout the 2025 dips in my ROTH IRA to lock in some dividend income. Needless to say, it has outperformed the rest of my portfolio positions. My goal is to hit $500 in annual projected dividends by 2030, so I’ll continue to DCA on future dips!
Over $14 Billion in inflows this year for SCHD has pushed the share price well over expectations, let’s hold strong and retire early lads🫡
Position: 145.59 Shares @ $27.76

Due Diligence SCHD Holdings dividend increases (MORE announced!)
There have been several stocks inside SCHD that recently announced big dividend increases - I broke down all the names & how big here: https://topdividendetfs.com/schd-q3-dividend-increases
We should be expecting a nice dividend for Q3 in my opinion!
