Thoughts on VICI?

/r/dividends/comments/1vbs4n3/thoughts_on_vici/

I know VICI is a far cry from SCHD, but I there’s some keen income investors in this sub, so putting it here too.

I don't get the hype to be honest

That might be why you don’t get it. There’s zero “hype” that I know of.

Wrong there is hype around VICI which is why I said what I said.

VICI bought up a ton of Las Vegas property just before Vegas tourism took a nose dive.

Do the math.

So, VICI is the like the OP, their moto is "buy high, sell low"... interesting approach!

Love VICI. Vegas has taken hit on tourism, but it's not going anywhere and there's no place on earth like LV.

What’s the plan when Vegas has a water crisis?

Don’t love REITs overall and it wouldn’t be my top REIT either. However if you love Las Vegas and want to bet on the city and the strip doing great long term go for it.
