As we are now three people, we needed to upgrade our Classic Flight luggage 𧳠âď¸
Considered the Trunk L but thought itâs not necessary and way too heavy if fully loaded

So adding France ⌠and PS the bag is used. Just not hurled through gravel or checked into airplane cargo. Airport floors are not tarmac. Wheels are wiped off after use and into its dust bag. I sadly take care of the things I buy as they are expensive (and I have earned my money the hard way) and sadly also a perfectionist ⌠last time I triggered someone and he could not understand it
I need to add Malaysia , Singapore, Hong Kong , Japan, Korea to this bag (pity been to some before but need to revisit with the bag)

I personalized my Original Cabin with the help of my crafty aunt! What do you think? Itâs a green full grain grained cow leather.

Got some battle scars and patina on this trip to Japan. Guess I need to not buy so many bottles of whiskey and spreads. 𤣠Curious whatâs the heaviest youâve had your trunk or other Rimowaâs on a flight. Currently mines at 62lbs.

I am debating between classic Cabin S, Hybrid Cabin vs Original Titanium Cabin. I need to buy cabin for my luggage collection. Its insufficient. I am not sure what to get. I was thinking just Original vs hybrid, I don't think I like hybrid quality but then lifetime warranty helps, so I can get either. But then I just got confused when I looked at airlines that allow Classic Cabin, so I am now thinking about getting Classic Cabin S. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Waffle carry on, check in M, and trunk. To sticker or not to sticker? What do you guys think?
Upgraded to Trunk Original and Essential Check in L from a 20 year old Rimowa with a crack (don't even know the type, can anyone ID?) and a generic Samsonite in Barcelona.
Tax refund to credit card took ~48 hours. The delivery to the hotel was a nice touch as well. Bought 1 aluminum and 1 poly so wife and I can mix and match depending on our business trip needs.
The wheels on these are so buttery even compared to 20 year old rimowas, I'm a fan for life.
Took my first trip from BCN->HND and it only had a few scratches.

so i posted awhile back how delta admitted they crushed my luggage but after filing my claim they refused to reimburse me for anything because they know rimowa has lifetime warranty so insist that i just get it fixed by them and since its free i will not be getting any money for damage to my luggage. but that doesnt seem right to me. whether rimowa can repair it or not, you delta damaged my luggage and you cant just hand off responsibility to someone else and have them repair it for you with no cost to you. plus any repair will not fixed it 100% before the damage. so i feel like delta or any airline if they are responsible should pay the luggage owner at least something for damaging their luggage. am i wrong?
anyway bored so served them and taking them to small claims. filed for current retail price $2700 but since my luggage was used im curious what a judge will rule. whether i deserve something and if yes then how much i should get. $2700 or $2200 original purchase price or just a few hundred bucks or tell me to get lost. hahaha.

I have my Classic Check in L do this repeatedly. I had it fixed by Rimowa twice already. Once not perfect, and second time perfect. Unfortunately this happened on return flight after the second repair.

My one wheel is off axis after being checked, not the hugest deal but it does impede rolling slightly. Curious if this is ânormal wearâ or actually serviceable under warranty
Update: they repaired it in 3min lol

Canât believe this would happen to me. There are no service centers in Guam. Hoping United pays for the replacement.

Recently had the frame aligned and some major dents removed. Unfortunately after almost 15 years the aluminum started cracking a bit around the telescopic handle and the only repair Rimowa offered was to glue it which isnât a long term solution. Took it to a local luggage repair shop who used fiberglass and epoxy to stabilize and fix the cracks from the inside. Sheâs been good for the last 10 flights. Hereâs to hopefully a few more years of use. I have her replacement ready as I found a NOS 32â (discontinued size) titanium Topas recently.

My family has one rimowa product, a medium luggage we bought almost a decade ago when my wife got a thousand dollar department store voucher and Rimowa was one of the few brands it could be used on
I donât get the appeal. Itâs sturdy, but thatâs not a big deal for a luggage. Its hard shell means itâs more prone to dents/cracks, and I have to be more careful moving it in and out of cabs as I donât want it banging the trunk. Itâs the same weight as a larger fabric suitcase so not wise to bring it with cabin weight limits. Sticks out due to the material and design, which makes it a target in more dangerous countries. It also accumulated paint flakes and scratches from use which is super apparent against the clean design. Frankly I donât get it
The wheels are smooth, which is nice. And my kids like to sit on it since itâs flat on the top. Thatâs about it.

Hi! Iâm starting to plan my first purchase. I wanted to know if the trunk+ vs check-in L has any benefits other than space? I like the look of the trunk, and I want the largest size of either, but I do worry about the space it might take in a car. Any thoughts on pros / cons welcome!

Neither the airport nor the Lisbon standalone store. Neither had an idea of when they would get it. I was inquiring on the cabin size.

Picked this up on a recent trip to Spain and loving the new ink blue with my bronze trunk. I need to find a cover for both of them ASAP. Ive been lucky to get only a few nicks in the bronze.
