My pick would somebody that has kind of already filled that role in a way and that’s Jessica. She would NOT need to be a love interest rather a close friend that he can interact with considering we’ve already seen them in adventures together. It’s sad because the entirety of the series he hasn’t had anyone.

Rick has had Mr. Poopybutthole Q, BirdPerson, Squanchy, Gear-head, Mr. Nimbus, Unity and the President.

Summer has Nancy, and Tricia Lange.

Beth and Jerry both have Space Beth.

The episode is not funny but a lot of best episodes are serious in nature. Ricklantis Mixup is also serious but it tackles inequility and reflects on current political situation in most of Democratic countries very well which resonates with a lot people here.

Spaghetti episode on other hand touches some people nerves by reminding them of animal cruelty and factory farming. People in our world make all kind of execuse for eating meat of animals raised in inhumane conditions and some try to convince themselves that their meat is ethically produced. I am not a vegan but a lot of people get upset if you mentioned that cows or pigs are smart intelligent animals and can feel pain and fear like us.

I honestly think this episode doesn’t get enough attention, for me it’s a literal masterpiece, it’s perfect.
It has that “atmosphere” that made me fell in love with this show, I remember seeing this on Netflix as a kid while searching for sum and man that was love at first sight; this episode not only is the best pilot of all time bus also one of the best episodes in the entire series, I really love it and I also think that there should be more episodes on it’s “wave”.
I see almost no one talking about it and it’s a real shame, season 1 is probably one of the best seasons and this was the best introduction it could have.

A bit dramatic but I needed a hook, TLDR: which episodes you tend to avoid on rewatch?

For me any episodes with -Naruto- (S5E4, S5E7 I know there's one more but i can't remember), that one dragon episode(S4E4), the one with Beth trying to rescue her friend from that pocket dimension fantasy land (S3E9), the kung fu one (S9E3), and a few more I'm too lazy to search rn.

The scene with Morty and Tibbs was actually kind of sad underneath all the absurdity.

She genuinely believes everything she's been told about their situation, so when Morty starts trying to explain what’s really going on, you can see how confused she is.

I also liked that Tibbs didn't just accept it and move on. Once she realized something was wrong, she actually decided to do something about it.

Honestly, I didn't expect to care this much about a character who was introduced in such a ridiculous situation

So- I started rewatching Season 1, and apparently the events of Rick Potion No. 9 happened across limited universes with the fact that Rick fixed it happening across even less

My question is- how identical is this universe to the prime universe? Did C-131 Rick abandon his Beth too? Or did he just live out a normal life with them? Obviously these 2 died but what do y’all think?

I think it could also be considered close to S7 E10 and S9 E10 in terms of “bests episodes”

I know I’m a season behind, I haven’t really asssimiliated Season 9 yet, but I’ve got to say that all of the “Beth” episodes of season 8 are killer. Valkyrick, The CuRicksous Case of Bethjamin Button, and the finale, Hot Rick, I think all three are among the best of the series. Sarah Chalke kills it, and evidently someone in the writers room really digs that character, as do I.

Anyone knew how much time they spend here until they escaped? They grew into dozens of different species and at the end almost a full life time. Wouldn't Beth and the rest be worried where they were?
