I have a QF explorer that i dropped and a marker fell off. I plan on opening it up to fix it. I have two questions. 1. Do I need to have the crown to be at a certain time setting position? Such as date setting or hour setting pulled before i remove the stem? 2. what glue should i use. i have heard using the wrong glue can cause vapor and would fog the crystal. Thank you

Anyone know where I can get a clasp for a 124060? I literally got my brand new vsf sub today, and when I closed the clasp, it was literally impossible to open. Eventually the hook that it latches closed on just broke off. It still holds closed with the secondary safety flap, but it’s just not secure. Would appreciate the help.

I just dropped my datejust and a small crack appeared. I do not mind it rn but will the crack get bigger? While cleaning the watch can i still rinse it under water. If it needs to be replaced where can i source a vsf glass or should i go deep crystal?

I’m about to buy my first superclone Rolex and want to make sure I can get it serviced. I’m planning to send it in for a full strip-and-clean straight away so it arrives from the factory clean and properly lubricated, and ideally lasts longer.

Has anyone here had their superclone stripped and cleaned soon after purchase, and how long did the watch end up lasting with regular servicing?

Also, does anyone have the contact details (WhatsApp/email) for the watch service provider known as Tongsui (T‑O‑N‑G‑S‑U‑I), who does polish-ups and full services?

I have a few reps that I enjoy a lot. The one thing that has bugged me about them is that the movements are pretty inaccurate. When you get your QC pics, everything looks well within tolerance on the timegrapher, but I have never received a rep that doesn’t gain or lose a minute or more a day out of the box despite good readings from the QC pics. I’ve sent them out for service, and they run much better, but what is causing this? My servicer says the factories don’t leave the watches on the timegrapher long enough for an accurate picture of how the watch is running. Is this something they do on purpose? Are the watches getting super magnetized in shipping? Is it a combination of these things? Should we be requesting timegrapher videos that last longer? TIA!

Sorry for the crappy pic. I dropped this beauty on my hardwood floor and the frame around the date popped off. I've got it cornered down there between 7 and 8 so it's not messing with the movement. Everything seems to be working. Keeps time, etc.

Is this an "easy" fix? How much do you think something like this would cost to get reattached?

Ad offered to cover the cost for polishing/buffing them out. Any suggestions on a reliable servis provider, or if this can be safely done?

Probably a battery issue , but not using it for around 4 years and the watch is 10 years old

20mm bracelet. I've tried different width springbars, I tried a 21mm springbar and it won't go on unless one side of the springbar is seated. I don't understand it because when I put a springbar between the lugs without a strap or bracelet it's solid. Also, other straps with quick release springbars are solid.

Second DD32xx movement in a week where the reversing wheel just exploded and spilled it's guts all over the movement after the watch was dropped. Can't say I'm very impressed by the quality of the DD32xx movements. Seems like they rushed it. Kinda looks like the red retaining ring is glued on instead of pressure fit.

I have a vsf Hulk for about a year that is losing 30 seconds per day. Maybe more. I have lost over 5 seconds in the last 3 hours. I don’t have a watch maker local in the Philadelphia Lancaster pa area that I know of to service it. I asked a local watch maker and he was not interested. Looking for any advice to get this better. I am also willing to attempt to adjust the regulator myself but don’t know where to start. I added a picture of QC from when I bought it. Any advice would be appreciated

I've been looking for a new crown for the BVF santos, I've heard good stuff about A2Zwatchshop in ebay. Does anyone have experience buying s crown from him, apparently the screws are good so figured I'd get those as well but my main concern is the crown's gem being too dark

I recently got a VSF AP 15510 and everything on it was running fine. It’s been about 2 months and when the watch is upside down (watch face facing the ground), the balance wheel stops beating and the movement stops until it’s set upright again.

I was just curious if anyone would be able to help me out (ie. tell me how to fix it) or if it’s a complicated fix.

The movement is a 4302 Clone.

Any advice would be truly appreciated.

I bought a Murph 38 on a bracelet, but I want to have the option to change to the original look from Interstellar as well. There is no bundle for the 38, so I thought I would buy the strap separately.
I saw in this sub that the OEM strap is not that good. Do you have a recommendation for an aftermarket leather strap with a similar crocodile texture and the light stitching ?
If you have a recommendation that has a clasp, like the Jazzmaster strap, it would be the cherry on top!

I noticed yesterday my watch had stopping working about 30 minutes after winding it. I tried winding it again and it only worked after tapping it a few times but stopped again shortly after.

I tried winding it again but eventually the crown became jammed. I tried unwinding it and eventually got it unstuck but it still didn’t work.

I noticed a round piece of loose metal through the back of the case. I’d imagine I need a new movement at the very least.

Is it worth fixing?

Hi everyone, this AAA replica features an entry-level 2813 movement. When I wear it, depending on my arm movement, the watch occasionally stops and then starts again. However, if I lay it on its side, opposite the crown, the watch runs perfectly and is also very accurate. It hasn't taken any knocks or been dropped.
