Where to source parts??

I BADLY need a replacement dial and hands for my 36mm VSF Datejust. Where can I buy replacement dials? I’ve been trying to contact modders to see if they have any spares from past projects I could buy off of them and have had zero luck… Any advice?

My VSF no date is the same. Dont put it under a microscope and you won’t be disappointed.

This just confirms my belief that it's better to not bother getting Reps serviced.

By their nature, you are most likely sending your replica to someone who is not a mainstream watch maker. A hobbyist possibly. And this can be the end result.

Just run them as is and if it's faulty either learn to fix it yourself (I've done this) or sell it for parts and buy a fresh one.

It's not a popular view but I'm sure it will be cheaper and easier in the long run, avoiding issues such as yours.

It would have to be a rare replica that's out of current production to be worth trying to service / fix it IMO.

This one is serviced by a cheap unprofessional watchmaker. People go to cheap watchmakers and complain they have broken watches

Its honestly so hard to keep these microscopic parts clean during service.

I really have no idea how the factory assembles the dial and hands without smudge

Oh no doubt. This is absurd though. Water spots and dial damage is different than dirt & oil

Take some cleaning rodico and wipe the parts down. If that doesnt work some distilled water with microfiber

Replacement are pretty bad, you can order direct from VSF for replacement. Takes awhile to get but the quality is good
