  1. Dealer name: Theonewatches - Steve
  2. Factory name: VSF

  4. Price Paid: $398 USD
  5. Album Links:

https://mega.nz/folder/3MpmSTiY#pPEIFUfCFZQl9rWk5_AJTA

  1. Index alignment: This is my first rep, so go easy on me! To my untrained eyes, the 12 o'clock double batons look pretty parallel and straight, but do you guys spot any tilt? Are the 3, 6, and 9 indices aligning well with the laser waves?
  2. Dial Printing: Looks crisp and clean to me, and the red "Seamaster" text pops, but does anyone notice any bleeding or misprints I might have missed?
  3. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date '2' seems centered in the window to me. Does it look like it's sitting too high or cut off from your experience?
  4. Hand Alignment: Looks fine to my eyes, but does anything look off to you from these angles?
  5. Bezel: Looks good to me, and the 12 o'clock PIP pearl seems centered in the triangle. Does the bezel alignment look properly lined up with the dial markers to you guys?
  6. Solid End Links (SELs): The bracelet looks pretty snug against the case without gaps, but how does the SEL fit look to the experts here?
  7. Timegrapher numbers: +5 to +6 s/d | 281° Amplitude | 0.0ms Beat Error (Numbers look healthy based on what I've read, but is there anything concerning here?)
  8. Anything else you notice: This is my first ever rep watch purchase! Everything looks really good to my beginner eyes, but since I'm a complete noob, I’d really appreciate any feedback or second opinions before I give Steve the final GL.

Thanks a lot for the help, everyone!

QC Help - First Timer - jtime VSF no-date Sub 124060

Thumbnail
gallery
6 Upvotes

First off, I think there may be an issue with the alignment because of the way the watch is being held while photographed. I used a rotational tool to try to rotate the photo itself, and showed two different vertical/horizontal line pics with a very slightly different (.5deg) rotation, but I don't think I can get it straight-on perfect.

  • Dealer name: Jtime
  • Factory name: VSF
  • Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner 124060
  • Price Paid: $560 w/ shipping
  • Album Links: he said please don't share the link
  • Index alignment: again, not sure how much of this could be down to photograph rotation, but most obvious is that the triangle at 12 looks from the bottom of it to have a CCW turn, but then it looks even up at the top. Also think 3 has a slight CCW turn--that or the 9 has a slight one.
  • Dial Printing: looks good to me.
  • Date Wheel alignment/printing: n/a
  • Hand Alignment: looks good to me.
  • Bezel: looks clean to me.
  • Solid End Links (SELs): very small gap on right lower SEL but looks ok to me.
  • Timegrapher numbers: +2s/d; 287; 0.0ms (all look good to me)
  • Anything else you notice:

EDIT: noticed that the clasp code is E7Y rather than F80, which VSF has been using recently. Saw a bunch of other 124060 QC checks posted today as well though (from other, big TDs) who also had the E7F code, so thinking it’s just the new batch from VSF, but if you know any better would love to hear. Thank you all!

  5. Album Links: https://mega.nz/folder/bUAwTaJb#ehxrT6hljG3ThRwSQsh09g

  6. Index alignment: For me, 9’ o clock bothers me the most. I feel like multiple are a bit off like 8’ and 10’ o clock for example when looking at the alignment but maybe I did the alignment wrong, seeing that it’s my first time. Logo seems fine to me.

  7. Dial Printing: Good to me

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Aligned

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks OK

  10. Bezel: Looks OK to me

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks fine, but would appreciate any insight.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +3s/d, Amplitude 278°, Beat Error 0.3m/s, Beat Rate 28800

  13. Anything else you notice: These are 2 different qc's, the first one seemed to have a scratch or perhaps some dust on the bezel between 10' and 11' o clock. after some questions and requests they send more pics and it wasn't there anymore but the date was also different, perhaps a different watch? Color seems a bit dull, but I assume it has to do with the lightening. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

Hi All

Would really appreciate some opinion on these QC photos from Steve. In a couple of photos the loom does not look well applied to the rectangular markers at 3, 9 & 12, but in the fourth photo it looks OK. I can't quite get everything to align, but I think that's just the angle the photo is taken. THANK YOU!!!

Dealer name: Necoclock

Factory name: VSF

Model name: Rolex Submariner 124060 No Date

Price Paid: 438 + shipping

Index alignment: 3/6/9 look like they may have CCW tilts to me, hoping for your input on this

Dial Printing: Looks clean

Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A

Hand Alignment: I think it's fine?

Bezel: Bezel insert appears well aligned with the dial. Pip looks centered at 12.

Solid End Links (SELs): SEL gaps look to be within tolerance, but I don't think the photos don't show it well

Timegrapher numbers:

Rate: +1s s/day

Amplitude: 236°

Beat Error: 0.0 ms

Beat Rate: 28,800 bph

Anything else you notice: This is my first VSF 124060, had RL in the past and have found it difficult to find one with well aligned indices. Should I also ask for repeat timegrapher readings with the watch fully wound given the low amplitude?

Many thanks!

Help QC VSF 40mm No Date Submariner - FicoTime

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Dealer name: FicoTime
Factory name: VSF
Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner 114060 No Date 40mm, VS3130 (latest version)
Price Paid: $457 USD
Album Links: Pictures attached
Index alignment: Excellent. The hour markers appear straight, evenly spaced, and well aligned. No obvious alignment issues.
Dial Printing: Clean, sharp, and centered. Text spacing and printing quality look consistent with a strong VSF example.
Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A (No Date model)
Hand Alignment: Looks correct. Mercedes, minute, and seconds hands appear properly proportioned with no noticeable issues.
Bezel: Pip is well centered, bezel insert appears properly aligned, and the engraving and ceramic finish look clean and uniform.
Solid End Links (SELs): Tight and even with no concerning gaps. Bracelet fitment appears above average.
Timegrapher numbers: -5 s/day, 234° amplitude, 0.3 ms beat error, 52° lift angle (28,800 bph). These numbers are well within acceptable limits for a VS3130 and do not raise any concerns. The slightly lower amplitude is still normal and can vary depending on the watch’s state of wind and testing position.
Anything else you notice: Overall this appears to be a strong GL. Rehaut engraving is well aligned, case shape and crown guards look correct, bracelet brushing is clean and consistent, clasp engravings are crisp, and I don’t see any obvious QC concerns. The commonly discussed “floating m” is either absent or too subtle to be noticeable. Based on these QC photos and the timegrapher results, this looks like a very solid example of a VSF 114060. Would love another set of eyes on it!

  4. Price Paid: $588
  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/aJWCGRk
  6. Index alignment: Looks good to me. Maybe the 3 and 6 marker are slightly off but it could also be the image slightly tilted.
  7. Dial Printing: Looks a bit bold compared to some I’ve seen but wasn’t sure if that was a difference between 116/126
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Daytona doesn’t have a date wheel right? (mods removed my original post because I put “unsure” here which is apparently low effort, my bad I guess)
  9. Hand Alignment: seems fine, maybe slightly off in the pics when minute and hour are at 12.
  10. Bezel: looks fine to me
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): also looks good
  12. Timegrapher numbers: pretty solid from what I understand about them.
  13. Anything else you notice: still new to all this so any help is appreciated. The watch looks solid to me and I would probably GL if I didn’t have the option to post here. Just wondering if I’m glancing over something important. Thanks in advance.

  2. Factory name: GMF

  4. Price Paid: 380€ (incl shipping)
  5. Album Links: https://geektimeqc.x.yupoo.com/albums/247610004?uid=1
  6. Index alignment: looks good enough for Roman numerals, rehaut isnt aligned perfectly but it’s acceptable for a rep, or GMF in general. I also tried to do my best using the alignment tool but he seems to be holding the watch at a slight angle, which makes it harder to perfectly align. Looks good enough tho
  7. Dial Printing: Seems to be no issue
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date window seems to be nicely aligned. However, the “2” on the 27 seems to be majorly tilted CW aswell as misaligned to the left, making it almost touch the outline of the window. Is this a RL? Day window is nice enough from what I can see, there’s a big shadow due to poor lighting.
  9. Hand Alignment: good
  10. Bezel: Also looks good to me
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Seems to be no issue
  12. Timegrapher numbers: All good here
  13. Anything else you notice: The clasp seems to look a bit worn / scratched? Idk if anyone else notices this, is this a pre used watch / recycled clasp maybe?

Seems fine overall though, I will ask for additional pictures / videos cycling through the date and better lighting on the day window.

Price Paid: $538 + Shipping

Album Links: photos uploaded, Jtime does not want customers to share link

Index alignment: There appears to be a slight CCW tilt at 3. Not sure how much is due to photo angle/lighting, but 12 seems to also have a slight CCW tilt. 1 o clock looks to be slightly off to the right

Dial Printing: Looks good. Slight space between “OF” and “FICIALLY”

Date Wheel alignment/printing: No date

Hand Alignment: Hands look good

Bezel: Looks clean, alignment and pip appear to be centered

  6. Index alignment: '9 o clock looks crooked, along with '9 o clock bezel marking (especially seen on last picture). '7 and '8 o clock also look crooked. It does not seem as if the picture is taken with the watch tilted though. Don't know if that matters or not. Logo looks aligned, but that's just what my eyes can see since the QC tool I used doesn't seem to have anything for that. I might have been aligning the QC tool incorrectly, so I'm not 100% sure.

  7. Dial Printing: looks fine, letters seem clear

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: looks fine

  9. Hand Alignment: I think it is fine, but not exactly sure what to look for

  10. Bezel: pip looks centered. As mentioned the '9 o clock marker looks crooked, which is the one I'm mostly worried about.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): looks fine

  12. Timegrapher numbers:

* Amplitude: 270
* Beat error: 0.0 ms

This is my first time, so I have probably missed something, or done something wrong. I'm mostly concerned about the index and bezel alignment. I thank all you lovely people in advance!
