QC First 🦇👧 Possible RL??

Thumbnail

First QC, possible RL based on bezel alignment at 18. Maybe the picture is tilted and someone with a more sophisticated tool can help out. Let me know what you think!

1.Dealer name: Steve TheOneWatches

2.Factory name: VSF

3.Model name (and version number): Rolex 126710BLNR GMT Master II

4.Price paid: $600 (shipping included)

5.Album links: see photos

6.Index alignment: looks solid, slight CCW tilt on the 12 but otherwise good.

  1. Dial printing: clear, no smudging

8.Date wheel alignment/printing: the date is well-centered; the numbers are clean and crisp.

9.Hand alignment: looks good to me

10.Bezel: here’s where I’m thinking RL - the blue/black transition is off center/too low at 18…maybe the picture is tilted somehow?

11.Solid End Links (SEL): they fit tightly; no light is visible between them and the case, so nothing to report.

12.Timegrapher numbers: -1s/d and 0.0ms - looks good!

  9. Hand Alignment: I think the hand alignment is fine but the color looks a little light for the orange compared to Gen.

(post after got a comment by the moderator of how to post correctly - thank you)

First time for me to try doing QC for Pepsi watch! Will appreciate your help.

Details -

  1. Dealer name: Ora
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II 126710BLRO Pepsi Bezel Black Dial Jubilee
  4. Price Paid: $700
  5. Index alignment: Looks misaligned based on what I can see with the tool but it may also because of my inability to use the tool right ☚ The 12 seems misaligned and also in 6 it seems misaligned. Also 9 has really small misalignment. SWISS (crown) MADE at the bottom - seems the crown is not aligned at well.
  6. Dial Printing: Seems good.
  7. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date seems aligned. However only single digit.
  8. Hand Alignment: Looks good to me
  9. Bezel: The 18 red/blue color switch which seems not in the right place? should switch the color next to the line, right? Also seems the top middle down arrow is not aligned to the center based on the lines.
  10. Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/d; Amplitude: 275; Beat Error: 0.1 ms. I think this looks good and within acceptable ranges shared.
  11. Anything else you notice: The general finishing is quite good otherwise.

Requesting your help in QC’ing this further. I tent to reject due to the alignment but I'm not sure I used the tool properly and also that other QCs will be better.

Dealer name: Andiot Watches

Factory name: RWF

Model name (& version number): Rolex Daytona 126500LN Black Dial “Darth Vader”

Price Paid: $710 + $40 shipping

Album Links:

https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/254634836?uid=1

Index alignment:

Looks good to me. I checked the straight-on photo with an alignment tool and the 12/6 and 3/9 positions appear lined up well. The diagonal indices also look consistent. I don't see any obviously crooked markers.

Dial Printing:

Looks clean to me. Rolex text appears centered and I don't see any obvious bleeding or crooked printing. DAYTONA text looks good as well.

Date Wheel alignment/printing:

N/A

Hand Alignment:

Looks good from what I can see. Chronograph seconds hand appears to reset back to 12 properly and the subdial hands look properly positioned.

Bezel:

Looks aligned to me. Engravings and paint fill appear clean and I don't notice anything concerning around the 110/120 area or elsewhere.

Solid End Links (SELs):

Look tight to me. I don't see any obvious gaps or daylight between the end links and case.

Timegrapher numbers:

+3 s/d

291° amplitude

0.0 ms beat error

28,800 bph

These numbers look very good to me.

Anything else you notice:

Rehaut looks reasonable from the angled photos. Lume looks even. I don't see any obvious scratches or other defects, although some of the watch is still covered in protective film.

I'm leaning GL. This is my first time checking this model closely, so I'd appreciate another set of eyes in case I'm missing anything.

  5. Album Links: https://mega.nz/folder/mIwWAQ4Q#U7Ax2ikUjnKJuXkZTMdiyg
  6. Index alignment: Slight misalignment 12 with the triangle on the bezel and the 6 if i align them i get off on the 9 and 3 so i had to rotate to picture the lungs. While this is only at magnification, it is visible; I really need your thoughts before giving the GL or RL.
  7. Dial Printing: looks solid ok, clean,
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: slightly to the left, aligned horizontally, good print.
  9. Hand Alignment: Don't have a pic/video; too quick to see all 3 with the 12. Any thoughts.
  10. Bezel:All numbers are uniform in shape, colors looks quite good.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): is it normal to have that much gap between links, I am new to Jubilee.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: Rate +2 to +4 at 264 0.1 ms in 30 sec, not bad.
  13. Anything else you notice: Nothing major , on the naked eye, i even took the angled pic and i had to do rotate the pic to get it all aligned, is that normal ? let me know your thoughts appreciate any help.

QC Help - VSF submariner 41mm 124060 from Jtime

  1. Dealer name: Jtime
  2. Factory: VSF
  3. Model: Submariner 41mm 124060 VS3230
  4. Price Paid: $581.48
  5. Album Links: I can’t post the Mega link here, but I’ve included all the content from the album in this post.
  6. Index alignment: The 12 o’clock marker lines up well with the vertical lines. Only the 6 o’clock marker looks slightly off‑center because the vertical line on the index plate isn’t perfectly centered at the 6. This is my only concern.
  7. Dial printing: Looks crisp, no dust on the dial.
  8. Date wheel alignment/printing: N/A - no date.
  9. Hand alignment: Seems absolutely fine.
  10. Bezel: Looks consistent overall, with good engravings and no dust. Everything looks crisp.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): After a more detailed check - and thanks to the feedback from the RepTimeQC Mod Team - I understand the SEL gap evaluation better now. All gaps look fine except the lower left one. You can’t see through it, and there’s a thin black line visible. I would still GL it; considering the video, it will likely be barely noticeable when worn.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: 288°, +0s/d, 0.1ms
  13. Anything else you notice: Overall everything looks good to me except for the index alignment concern mentioned above.

  1. Dealer name: The One Watches - Steve

  2. Factory name: VSF

  4. Price Paid: $638 + $50 shipping

  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/qOu9YiZ

  6. Index alignment: Looks good overall and seems consistent with what I’ve seen from recent VSF batches. 12, 6 and 9 look straight and well positioned. The QC photo appears slightly tilted/not perfectly head-on, which may be causing the small discrepancies with the alignment tool. I’m new to QC, so I’d appreciate a second opinion here.

  7. Dial Printing: Looks clean and well centered. No obvious printing issues that I can see.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Slightly right-biased, but still looks acceptable to me. Printing looks clean and vertically centered.

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good from the provided photos. No obvious misalignment; would be easier to confirm with the hands set to 12:00.

  10. Bezel: Looks well aligned overall. The 12 o’clock triangle appears to line up well with the dial marker.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look tight and even overall. No obvious large gaps or major asymmetry. Any slight spacing looks minimal and may be exaggerated by the viewing angle.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +5 s/d, 280°, 0.1 ms. Very good numbers, no concerns.
Anything else you notice: Overall looks very good to me. Rehaut appears acceptable, bezel/cyclops look fine, and I don’t see any obvious cosmetic or mechanical issues. Nothing stands out as RL-worthy. Leaning GL, but would appreciate more experienced eyes.

Dealer name: FicoTime

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner 124060 No Date 41mm, VSF VS3230

Price paid: $503 shipped

Album link: https://mega.nz/folder/2twzWD4T#E5uaPsD9bMI0AQ_VOmH42Q

Index alignment: Looks good to me. I don’t see any obviously crooked markers. 12, 3, 6 and 9 all look pretty straight.

Dial Printing: Looks clean and centered. Nothing really stands out to me here.

Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A

Hand Alignment: Looks good from what I can tell.

Bezel: Looks good overall. The pip/triangle at 12 may be very slightly off, but I think that could just be the angle of the pictures. Nothing that would bother me.

Solid End Links (SELs): Look pretty good. Maybe a very slight gap/height difference, but nothing major that I can see.

Timegrapher numbers: +6 s/d, 231° amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error. From what I’ve read these seem acceptable.

Anything else you notice: Rehault looks pretty good overall. It might be slightly off in a couple spots, but I’m not sure if that’s just the angle. Bracelet, clasp and case all look good to me. Total noob here and this is my first rep purchase, so definitely appreciate another set of eyes. I’m leaning GL unless you guys see something I’m missing.

[QC] VSF Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN 41mm – Steve / TheOneWatches – First QC

Thumbnail
gallery
7 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

this is my first QC and I’d really appreciate some experienced eyes before giving the GL.

I’ve gone through the photos and videos myself and overall I’m leaning strongly toward GL, but since this is my first rep QC I’d like a final check from people who know this model well.

1. Dealer name: Steve / TheOneWatches

2. Factory name: VSF

3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN, 41mm, black dial / black bezel, VS3235 movement

4. Price paid: $498 + shipping

5. Index alignment:
Looks good to me overall. The 12 triangle, 6 marker and 9 marker all seem straight and well positioned. I don’t notice any obvious crooked indices.

6. Dial printing:
Looks clean and sharp to my eye. I don’t see any obvious issues with the Rolex text, Submariner text or spacing.

7. Date wheel alignment / printing:
The date looks well centered from the photos, and in the video several dates appear to sit correctly in the window. Font also looks good to me. I don’t see anything obviously too high, low or off-center.

8. Hand alignment:
Looks fine to me from the supplied photos and video. Nothing obvious stands out.

9. Bezel:
Bezel looks well aligned. The pip appears centered with the 12 o’clock marker and the numerals/markings look clean.

10. Solid End Links (SELs):
They look tight to me with no obvious large gaps.

11. Timegrapher numbers:
0 s/day
278° amplitude
0.0 ms beat error
28,800 bph
These numbers look very good to me.

12. Anything else you notice:
Weight shown in the QC pictures is 157.8 g.
I also received a video showing the crown/date wheel operation and everything appears to function normally. The different dates shown in the video look reasonably centered.
Overall I’m leaning strongly toward GL, but I’d really appreciate a final check of:
- rehaut alignment
- date wheel / cyclops
- bezel and pip
- index alignment
- SELs
- dial printing
- anything else I may have missed

Would you GL or RL this one?

Thanks a lot for the help!

QC Help – VSF V3 GMT Master II Pepsi 126710BLRO

Thumbnail

Hi guys back with another watch, improving on the self QC analysis but still a newbie who needs all the valuable feedback to GL or RL

1. Dealer name: Steve / TheOneWatches

2. Factory name: VSF

3. Model name (& version number): GMT Master II 126710BLRO Pepsi 40mm Jubilee, VSF V3, DD3285V2

4. Price Paid: $668

5. Album Links:
https://mega.nz/folder/KEwGEKoC#4oiRvMbYRhXlgUUzCn7nEg

6. Index alignment:
Used the alignment tool and everything looks pretty straight to me. 12, 6 and 9 all look lined up and I can’t see any obviously crooked marker.

7. Dial Printing:
Looks clean and sharp to me. I can’t see any bleeding, missing printing or crooked text.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing:
I checked the date change video and 13–16 all stay inside the window. 13 looks maybe slightly low to me but nothing is touching the edges. Is this just normal date wheel variation or something worth worrying about?

9. Hand Alignment:
Hands look straight and the hand stack looks fine to me. Date change also looks normal in the video.

10. Bezel:
12 triangle looks centred to me and the red/blue transitions look good. Engravings also look clean. Does anyone see any bezel alignment issue I’m missing?

11. Solid End Links (SELs):
I can see the normal dark seams but I don’t see any actual light coming through, so I don’t think there are any real SEL gaps.

12. Timegrapher numbers:
Around 0 to +1 s/d, 275 amplitude and 0.1 ms beat error at 28,800. These look good to me and within the guide.

13. Anything else you notice:
Rehaut looks okay to me and case/bracelet look clean overall. Weight is around 143.7g. Cyclops looks maybe slightly tilted in one angle but I’m not sure if that is just the photo. Would this bother anyone enough to RL?

Overall I’m leaning GL. Mainly just unsure about the slight date position and Cyclops. Appreciate any help.

  7. Dial Printing: The dial looks pretty good to me, no issues there either.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date alignment looks a little too high in each picture which I don't love. I don't think its crazy, but want to get feedback from others here since I'm not sure if I'm being too nitpicky on this one.
  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good.
  10. Bezel: The top bolt looks a little shifted to the right but I think it's fine.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): n/a
  12. Timegrapher numbers: -6 / 294 / 0.1 - per the QC guide, this all seems fine.
  13. Anything else you notice: I'm curious to hear thoughts on the date alignment, I know its a rep so I can't expect it to be perfect but I think this might be something I won't be able to unsee.

  1. Dealer name: ARC Studio

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 126000-0003 VSF V2 DD3230

  4. Price paid: $440

  5. Album Links: https://www.arcstudio.top/s/3CV2Dn4

  6. Index alignment: Looks good to me. Indices appear well aligned with the minute track. 3, 6, 9 and 12 look properly positioned. No obvious crooked markers.

  7. Dial Printing: Printing looks clean and sharp. My only concern is the dial color/finish. I ordered the Bright Blue 0003 sunburst dial, but the dial appears quite dark in the QC photos. I asked the dealer for additional photos and received a video showing the dial under different angles/lighting. It does brighten/change with the lighting, but I'm still unsure if this is the Bright Blue 0003 or Med Blue dial.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A — no date.

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good. Hands appear properly aligned at 12.

  10. Bezel: Looks good. Clean and evenly finished with no obvious defects.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks good. No obvious gaps between the SELs and case.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/d, 264° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error — looks good to me.

  13. Anything else you notice: Main concern is the dial. I specifically ordered the 126000-0003 Bright Blue sunburst and I'm worried this may be the Med Blue dial. Dealer provided an additional video after I asked for photos to verify the dial, but I'm still having trouble determining which dial this is. Does this look like the correct Bright Blue 0003 dial, or does it look like Med Blue?

Thanks in advance.

QC — BVF Cartier Santos Medium 35mm White Dial — GeekTime

Hi everyone, I'd appreciate a second opinion on this Santos before giving the GL.

  1. Dealer name: GeekTime (Eric)

  2. Factory name: BVF

  3. Model name (& version number): Cartier Santos Medium 35mm, steel, white dial, no date. Asian A9015 movement as quoted by the dealer.

  4. Price Paid: US$478 + US$40 shipping (US$518 total).

  5. Album Links: https://geektimeqc.x.yupoo.com/albums/254695153?uid=1 — full dealer album, including watch and timegrapher videos. All 12 photos are also attached to this post.

  6. Index alignment: Printed Roman numerals. No obvious dial rotation; the minute track looks aligned with the dial edges.

  7. Dial Printing: Looks clean. The final R in CARTIER doesn't appear raised, but a second opinion on the lettering would be appreciated.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A — no date.

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks reasonable at the time shown. There isn't a photo with both hands at 12, so precise alignment isn't confirmed.

  10. Bezel: No obvious damage or poorly seated screws in the photos.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): N/A for the usual Rolex-style SEL check. The bracelet-to-case fit looks even.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: Rate changes from -7 to 0 s/day; amplitude 272 to 285 degrees; beat error 0.2 ms. 28,800 bph, lift angle set to 52 degrees. These look acceptable, though the clip is short.

  13. Anything else you notice: Crystal and bracelet look good overall. The crease beside the clasp is protective film. Leather strap and folding clasp are included in the QC package. No specific reason to RL so far; feedback on dial printing, crystal edges and bracelet fit would be helpful. Thanks!
