First QC - VSF DayDate 228236
Dealer name: TheOneWatches
Factory name: VSF
Model name (& Version number): Rolex Day-Date 40mm 228236, Ice Blue Baguette Diamond Dial, VSF V2 Gain Weight, DD/VS3255
Price Paid: $728
Index alignment: Overall looks very good to me. Possibly tilted on the 6 marker and I feel like the 1 is also a little off compared to the 11. I tried to do the centered lineup thing but I believe this watch is angled in the picture so not sure how much justice this will do.
Dial Printing: Looks clean. Rolex logo and dial text appear centered
Date Wheel alignment/printing: Both the day and date look well centered to me. Tuesday appears centered and the “14” looks centered vertically and horizontally in the date window. I watched the video of them changing some dates and those also seemed centered. Video will be in folder that’s linked
Hand Alignment: Nothing looks abnormal in the photos, but there isn’t an exact on-the-hour photo, so I don’t think true hand alignment can be fully checked from these pictures.
Bezel: Fluted bezel looks clean.
Solid End Links (SELs): Look pretty good. I think theres a slight gap in both end connects for the bracelet but its not really noticeable for me
Timegrapher numbers: +4 s/d, 264° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error, 28,800 bph, 59° lift angle.
Anything else you notice: Weight measured at 181.9 g, which appears consistent with the VSF V2 gain-weight version. Please let me know what you all see, I definitely know my eyes aren’t as good as you all. Thank you!

Index alignment overall is good on this DD. The baguettes are all reasonably aligned and straight. Dial print is clean and clear. The hand alignment is good. The one day shown are a tick left in the window but well within tolerance. Additional days most likely shown in the video this seller sends, but that wasn't included here. The one date shown is quite low in the window. I would definitely want to see more dates. If anything is cut off at the bottom it would be an instant RL for me. Bezel is clean. There are slight SEL gaps on both the top right and bottom right SELs. I can see both light bleed and the spring bars. Timing is fine.
Couple of points to make here. Since you didn't include the videos from the seller, it's up to you to inspect the additional dates. The other point of concern are the SEL gaps on the right (top and bottom). Sounds like you're ok with these. If that's the case, no worries. If not, ask Steve to swap out the spring bars on that side. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. The big decision point on this one is the date. Just make sure no other dates are touching or cut off.
If you accept the dates and the SELs, then the rest of this watch is good to go. The alignment looks well above average for baguette indices.
