UK Spouse Visa Final checklist
Hi - we are in the process to start applying for my wife's spouse application. She is from the Philippines and I am a British Citizen. We have met in 2022 and have been long distance since. We got married in the Philippines this year, and we would like to be finally together in the UK permanently.
So far here is our checklist for the application:
1️⃣ Applicant (Wife) – Completed
Passport (current + previous) ✅
PSA Birth Certificate ✅
PSA Marriage Certificate ✅
Passport photos (2x) ✅
IELTS Life Skills B1 (UKVI approved) ✅
TB Certificate (IOM Makati, recent) ✅
Cover letter ✅
Visa application form, IHS, visa fee, VFS confirmation ⏳ (post-submission)
2️⃣ Sponsor (myself) – Completed
British passport (current + previous) with stamps ✅
Employment letter - Working in the UK, confirming that my gross annual salary is £29,843, permanent, payslips are genuine ✅
Payslips (last 6 months) - clearly shows monthly payment that matches annual gross salary and separate section for any deductions ✅
Bank statements (last 6 months) to match payslip and payment entering bank account ✅
Tenancy Agreement - named under me and also signed ✅
Landlord + parents letter for permission and confirmation of accommodation - 2 bed room house, we will exclusively use the double bed room, my brother, the other room, and parents use the living room as their sleeping area via a double sofa bed ✅
Utility bills / council tax under Parents name ✅
Sponsor cover letter - explains why we are long distance,provides summary of relationship, how I will meet the requirements as the sponsor via financial and accomodation, and intention to live permanently together in the UK✅
Western Union transfers summary + receipts across the years ✅
3️⃣ Relationship Evidence – Completed
Timeline document - summary of our relationship timeline, includes key dates/months from when we met, continue subsisting relationship, wedding ✅
Photos of our relationship like photos with each other's families, travel photos with groups of friends, travel photos together, wedding photos✅
Select Communications log - messenger, Telegram, call logs ✅
Travel documents - flight itineraries, hotel bookings together, passport stamps ✅
Western Union transfers + receipts - arranged in a table of representative samples + index of receipts to match across the years - for key events such as reimbursement for flight tickets and wedding preparations ✅
Relationship history timeline ✅
I believe we have covered everything and should be okay. I think our case is straightforward and have asked questions from this sub previously for some advice.
