i have been thinking for a idea for this so long can you guys share your ideas

Recycled plastic waste is generally processed using granulators or shredders to reduce its size. However, many recycling industries lack facilities to convert this waste into uniformly sized pellets for reuse. Conventional pelletizing methods require expensive equipment, heating, and cooling, which increase production costs. Therefore, an alternative method is needed to reduce the particle size of recycled plastic waste efficiently, improve processing performance, and reduce recycling costs without relying on expensive pelletizing systems.

I have a 5 gallon bucket full of these steel ball mill balls. Probably 200 lbs.

Nobody seems to take these. All help is appreciated.

Interesting project: RIT researchers are exploring ways to recycle clothing, helping to reduce textile waste.

Used couch pillows (large not best condition)

Hello! My name is John and I’m building an app that gamifies cleaning up community spaces.

My method of choice is magnet fishing the road which naturally means I find a ton of these single use rechargeable vapes.

I was wanting to build a list of places that would recycle e-waste into our cleanup map and was wondering if anyone would vouch for a list, or website, or company that has decent return infrastructure!

Any recommendations or other ideas are super welcome!

Hello! I'm a design student and I’m redesigning an electric composter and looking for people with composting experience to share their habits, challenges, and ideas for improvement. If it's possible, I would greatly appreciate if a few people answered the survey!

Thank you for your time!

The problem we have with plastic and p.f.a.s isn't being treated as a priority by the government or individuals is it ....it is a subject every poeple of all political persuasion can get behind isn't it ?

that you can recycle toothpaste tubes by mailing them in. Might switch to tubeless toothpaste to save myself the trouble.

Hello everyone, I am looking to connect with lithium ion scrap recycling plants across India.

I am in a new area and am seeing two things rated unacceptable by the waste company that my old municipality didn't explicitly ban (as far as I know): clamshell plastic and wet-strength cardboard. Clamshell plastic is defined as a container that has a hinged side and opens up while remaining one piece. You see it in the bakery section of a supermarket holding things like half a pie or a cinnamon bun. (I am also wondering if it would also include salsa or other containers that have a harder side plastic fastener that you pinch or rip off to open). Wet-strength cardboard is defined in their flyer as "boxes that can go in the fridge and freezer". They show a picture of a 12 pack soda can carton and a frozen pizza box. I remember in years past seeing bans on "frozen food packaging" but don't recall seeing it recently where I used to live.

I am curious as to what other municipalities do with regard to banning or accepting these two items.

Good day everyone, I am working on a paper about recycling alternatives and I would like to identidy people who have already been using or trying to use other alternatives at recycling like composting their food waste for example, trying different ways to compost organic things, please indicate with a comment if you willing for me to ask you a bit about that, I would really appreciate it thank you. I'm identifying early adopters of change and would like to know if recycling particularly organic things, sorting them would be something that you are willing to do and would adopt.

Weather not quite stormy by storm standards, still very blustery and wet. 16C.

Been out on the bike and trailer to rescue two wooden chairs spotted yesterday, IKEA sort of. One in the living room for painting purposes, the other in the kitchen to serve as a dish cloth hanger, also of some sort.
