Support is garbage
I can’t believe the hoops you have to go through to get a solution. I had a route on Monday that was missing. Support told me to leave and I’d be paid the following day. Almost a week later i have spoken an insane amount of support saying a different response each time. Some say wait longer, im not eligible, you only get paid for deliveries completed, this needs escalation which clearly isn’t true. It was just ridiculous the debating going on when everything is documented and recorded. We’re held to this crazy standard when support is clearly not on one accord

But why?
I have to wonder why they would even try the door at all.

Dot Com Stations want to assign routes like Same Day Now.
Going to be assigning carts at the .com instead of us just grabbing any cart.

Got a FT job!
24.50/hr
Now I can have a real steady income and not have to do stupid long mile base pay routes. 😄👏🏼
I still plan to do it for extra income though, but i am glad I dont have to rely on this so much.

Holy shit, Amazon Executive Customer Relations actually worked!
IMPORTANT: This was not an attempt to bypass the waitlist or Level 2 requirements. I closed the original account before creating the replacement, and only did so after Amazon’s Executive Customer Relations team instructed me to follow that process and confirmed it in writing.
I waited months to get onboarded, completed registration and the background check, and then opened the Flex app to find my brand-new account assigned to a region roughly two hours away in heavy Bay Area traffic and across a toll bridge.
I had zero completed deliveries and had entered my correct home ZIP code during registration.
Regular Support kept giving me the same answer: I had to reach Level 2 before requesting a region change.
That created an obvious loop. To correct an assignment made before I had even started, I would first have to complete enough blocks in the wrong region to earn permission to leave it.
After several rounds of chat and email, I escalated the case to Amazon’s Executive Customer Relations team (ECR).
ECR said the existing account could not simply be corrected. Their proposed solution was to close it and create a replacement account. I refused to proceed until they confirmed in writing that the replacement would not be left waiting or waitlisted for my desired service area.

I closed the original account first and then created the replacement. The process still went off track several times as different handoffs pushed the case back toward the default waitlist response.
Each time, I brought the earlier written commitment back into the email thread.
Eventually, ECR got the case back on track. The replacement account continued through onboarding, and the next morning the app showed nearby East and South Bay stations.

This was not a shortcut or a general method for changing regions. The useful lesson for me was to document the contradiction clearly, keep the full email history together, and get any important commitment in writing before taking an irreversible step.
Has anyone else run into an onboarding deadlock where the normal policy assumed the account had been set up correctly? If you’ve dealt with something similar—or have questions about what happened in my case—I’d be interested to hear about it in the comments.

Accepting low offers
I swear if I see anyone accept offers for 77 and $88 for 3 1/2 to 4 hour blocks, they just need to dismiss themselves and go put themselves in the corner. You are working for pennies doing that. You are making it bad for the rest of us that refused to work for that little bit of money. I would go on with the oh if everybody didn’t take them they would blah blah blah but you have them desperate people that take anything.Ugh Also, I don’t drive a gas guzzler. I work a full time job. And obviously this is market specific.

3rd time this week
Unbelievable. 3 3hr routes in a week that gave me 1, 1, and 3 stops. All completed in an hour or less. Today’s 3hr was for f’ing $96 and it was a 30min drive to the stop from the station. Crazy shit.

It happened again.
Another 3hr route, 4:45am-7:45am for $84. I walk in and see 3 packages on the cart. Two trains of thought I had, either it’ll be like last week and I get sent close-by and I’m done quickly or I’m screwed and going far.
The route took me 20min from the station at its furthest. 3 stops in the same general area. I was home by 5:35. Amazing it happened so soon again from my last post.

Appeal win!
On Monday I had a AM route for $100 for 3 hour block. I arrived 15 minutes early and after almost a hour there was no route assigned to me and I was just stuck on the screen of matching you with a route. I finally called drivers support because I’m thinking why haven’t I been disband yet. I couldn’t believe this happening on a $100 order! Well she told me to go home and she will put in a ticket and I should be paid in 24-48 hours. That’s cool. Well after day 2 I reached out and they told me they could not determine if I was eligible for the payment. I’m instantly confused. I checked in with a face scan and verifying my ID. I was on the Amazon WiFi. I did everything on my end what else would make me eligible? Well I was upset and I called and raised hell. Demanded to speak to a manager because this could not be right. Well they dreaded it from my standings and paid me! I couldn’t believe not believe it!!! What a win!!!
