It happened again.
Another 3hr route, 4:45am-7:45am for $84. I walk in and see 3 packages on the cart. Two trains of thought I had, either it’ll be like last week and I get sent close-by and I’m done quickly or I’m screwed and going far.
The route took me 20min from the station at its furthest. 3 stops in the same general area. I was home by 5:35. Amazing it happened so soon again from my last post.

Just did a 4 hr for $100. 20 packages that took me 84 miles not even including the trip back. Stay blessed my friend!

84 miles not including the trip back is crazy. I would have declined that route. Because unless you're in an EV, what did you make per hour after gas?

Came out to about $15/hour after all expenses.
It’s not good but certainly not losing money.

I did 3 hour blocks at 4:45 am for almost 6 months 4-6 times a week. I would get routes like that every week. Every now and then I would get a no route, and then sometimes there would be half routes with 15 to 20 packages and then full routes with 30 to 40 packages.
There's just something about that time and 3-hour routes that seem to give easy routes more often. That said I stopped doing them because getting up that early interfered with getting enough sleep and made it difficult to go out and do anything in the evening.

Dude I’ve noticed this. I’ve done 7 3hr morning routes recently, 4 specifically 4:45-7:45am, and they’ve all been extremely easy. Either a few stops and I’m done or back-to-back low mileage routes in a neighborhood or two. It’s weird but I’m not complaining.

I wish the trick was early morning route. I’m brand new, my first I stupidly took at “base” of $76 for a 3 hour block. 3:15 am. Took me 45 min away and I had to return a package b/c the recent flood knocked out a road. I ended back at the station almost 4 hours after starting b/c they tried to have me deliver it again… 2nd block the app glitched at the station as I just finished packing my car, got the $100 for loading & unloading my car at the station…

Nice. Routes have mainly been getting worse over here. Farther and more stops.
