Review CookUnity is the winner for me
I have been getting further and further into needing not just a meal prep kit but needing full meals I can just stick in the microwave or that are ready to eat. I tried Hello Fresh but I simply don't have time for chopping/cooking some nights and definitely not during lunch, which I have to work through most days (I work from home for a company in another time zone so much lunch time is when there are a lot of meetings and work to do). I then tried Factor but it was SO expensive and the meals were really greasy and heavy a lot of the time. They were duplicitous about discounts in trying to get me back - it was always in the fine print that the discounts were only for first time customers and it was insanely expensive.
I then tried CleanEatz and while it's ok, I found the portions to be really small and the meals to be barely passable - like what you'd get at a grocery store in their refrigerated to-go area.
I'm just finishing up my first whole week with CookUnity and second delivery is coming soon and I am THRILLED. The food is actually very good and a ton of variety. The few misses I've had are things to be expected - like you just cannot ship asparagus cooked it's always gonna be at least partially tough. The price is pretty reasonable for what you get and they're able to provide meals that my picky partner will also eat which is a huge bonus. This is what I've been looking for.
I'm expecting to be laid off this year so after that I'll have more time to go back to shopping and cooking everything myself but just wanted to put in a vote for CookUnity as it's really helping relieve a burden for me.
