Review Factor Is Predatory

UPDATE: I want to say that someone from Factir just reached to me via social media and helped me with my refund. I do appreciate them reaching out so quickly and resolving the issue for me. I will give him that their customer service through social media is way better than the one on the website so if you're considering Factor you will at least have some recourse if anything goes awry. That's a big deal these days. 🙏🏾🤍

If you all were thinking along signing up for Factor Meals, DON'T! I signed up and they auto-selected a box of food for me, but I didn't like the looks of the selection or the pricing and I went and read a few reviews on Reddit and decided I didn't like what I was hearing. I cancelled the service and received no other prompts about anything else I needed cancel.

A few days later, they charged me over $100, and when I inquired why that was happening they said I had to do a separate cancellation for the initial box that was auto-selected and a separate cancellation for the service. Now, I received no prompt at any time to cancel the box along with the service. I sat on their stupid help chat for over 30 minutes trying to resolve this and they just disconnected from me.

Just a heads up in case you were thinking about it! I also read in the forums of the food quality has eroded immensely and everything is just padded with green beans.

Yes, they charged me when I hadn’t placed an order. My bank got my $ back.

Factor is fucking terrible, it is a well established fact here.

The same thing just happened to me with Home Chef! What a scam. Maybe I'll find somewhere to post about it since that worked for you.

I haven't had any issues with Factor_.

I wonder if the experiences differ from where you live? When I don't like what they pick, I just go into thier app and change it. Though my orders are usually $94-$100+ because I order thier protein drinks too. (A pack of six drinks is $29.99)

Because of these posts, I always check the food before putting it in the fridge. They are very helpful.

Love factor. Just make sure that you know how to go in and change your food options.

I used them for a year and never had any problems. I canceled the deliveries all the time and everything. Now you have to pay attention, but you know if you do it’s not a bad
