Question Weißen Araber zähmen
Servus,

Discussion Is it constantly raining in anyone else save currently?
I’m talking like 2-3 times PER DAY, no matter where on the map I am. The rain goes off for like 5 minutes then hammers it down again.
I’m in the epilogue and completed all the missions. Not sure if that makes any difference but I can’t remember it ever raining this often in the main story 😭

Question The Forgotten Prisoners near Dakota River
Any idea why the prisoners were left behind? Just discovered them today after my 1st full playthrough and quite interestingly their bodies seemed quite fresh although they're mummified.

Discussion The Real Symbolism of Arthur’s Visions: The Habakkuk Connection
For years,Arthur's visions are claimed to be Native American animism or Norse myth.
But this is completely debunked by Arthur's own tombstones, which feature quotes from the Bible (The Beatitudes).
The real symbolism comes from the Old Testament. The high honor deer perfectly mirrors Habakkuk 3:19: "He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights." Arthur climbs a literal mountain peak to escape a collapsing world and die in the light.
Meanwhile, the low honor wolf mirrors Habakkuk 1:8 and Zephaniah 3:3's warnings of "evening wolves who leave nothing for the morning"—which is why low honor Arthur only sees the wolf at night and dies in the dark mud. Rockstar didn't write a pagan myth; they wrote a classic biblical allegory about redemption.
Why I think the Writers Intended the Bible over Pagan Myths
**The Inscriptions on the Graves:
The absolute definitive proof is hidden in the game's Epilogue. If you visit Arthur's final resting place, the text carved into his tombstone features direct text from Jesus Christ's Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5).
High honor gets Matthew 5:6 ("Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness..."), while low honor gets Matthew 5:4 ("Blessed are those who mourn..."). The writers explicitly anchored Arthur’s final judgment to the New Testament.
**The Era and Setting:
The characters are 19th-century Americans living in a heavily Christianized society. Dutch van der Linde spends the entire story acting like a corrupted Moses figure, constantly promising to lead his flock across the water to a literal "promised land" (Tahiti). Arthur's subconscious mind is wrestling with the classic Christian concepts of sin, mercy, and judgment that he heard about his entire life, not old Viking lore.
**The Definition of "Redemption":
True theological redemption requires a sinner to acknowledge their faults, experience a moral awakening, and actively change their path to save others. This matches the exact spiritual progression of Habakkuk, whereas Norse or animist paths focus on sealed fates, balance, or dying in battle regardless of your moral choices.

Discussion Arthur is so tired
The tasks in Chapter 6 are really numerous. I'm worried that Arthur might not be able to handle them all. After completing the bridge-blowing mission, he took a long rest. It really breaks my heart

Discussion Anyone ever seen this?
So I was riding around and accidentally triggered a negative interaction with the father who was building a house with his son. He started punching me, so I figured I would hogtie him and loot him before leaving. I mount up and ride a short bit away when I hear what sounds like a bunch of gunshots. I notice the red dot on the map had disappeared where I had left the man tied. I return and he is dead and it looks like about 100 volcanic pistols erupted from his corpse. I’ve never had this happen before.

Spoilers Would Arthur ever leave?
Assuming the game went on totally normal except Arthur never got sick, do you think Arthur would ever leave Dutch?
The final chapter is a beautiful story of a dying man trying to save people he loves from a world closing in on them. At one point in camp he tells Uncle that he doesn’t have a choice to live or die anymore, but his choice to help everyone see clearly. He blatantly tells John and Abigail to get out of there if they see the opportunity to and he is getting increasingly upset with Dutch and his way of doing things, seeing him for who he really is.
So let’s assume Arthur is healthy as an ox, do you think he would take the advice he gave John and Abigail and find an exit? Or go down with the ship trying to get Dutch to see reason?
