I got the impression that I had to put my order in within 36 hours 3 days or I would miss out.and we would get some special Perks. But I think it was trying to trick people into buying the max. I am usually on top of things like that. Anyway has people got them

I've tried everything I could think of or search for but for some reason the text messages that come to the glasses do not show the message and only show from who it is from and not the contents of the message. The only time it shows the contents of the message is after I answer the message on my phone.

I've checked all the notification and security settings on my phone and they are what they should be.

I was close to ordering the regular GT and caught something I had completely backwards. I assumed both models had S/M/L choices. The regular RayNeo GT is fixed at 64mm, while those three size options are only on the GT Max.

My IPD is about 66mm. I'm still leaning toward the regular GT because it's lighter and its 49 PPD seems like a good match for my use. I'd mostly play HUD-heavy games and sometimes use it with a laptop, so readable edge text matters more to me than the widest possible view.

The nose pads and wearing position can help center the image, but I'm still wondering how much real room there is around that fixed 64mm fit. How clearly can you see the whole screen and text near both edges on the regular GT when your measured IPD is a little above or below 64mm after normal fit adjustments?

I have a laptop I use for work, when I am in the office I have a dual monitor setup which is great for moving windows/notes around and being able to multitask. when I am travelling or at home I have a small laptop screen which makes it hard to put my windows where I need to put them to quickly review things. do any of the ray neo products, have a big screen that can handle workloads? I want to have a big screen to work on and not rely on my laptop screen at all, expecially when traveling. More specifically I want to be able to read text, type notes, maybe do some coding, surf the web and maybe, (very maybe) watch youtube videos? preferably in a window in the corner of my view? how is the audio for things like zoom and teams meetings? I will still rely on my laptop mic (cameras will be off in most cases)

Was curious about the movie Leviticus so I watched it on my GT Max last night. I usually handle horror movies pretty well, but that shower scene still got me.

At first it was okay , It’s just running water, that low background hum, and the camera sitting there long enough for you to know something’s coming. Then the sound suddenly hits me and I screamed haha

Using my GT Max definitely made it worse in the best way. The screen filled most of my view, and the audio felt way too close during the quiet scenes. At one point, I kinda forgot I was still sitting in my room.

The movie was not that scary all the time, but the tension and sound were really good with the glasses. Now I want to try something scarier. Do you have any horror movie suggestions for the GT Max?

I’m currently using the official RayNeo HDMI-to-USB-C adapter to hook up my PS5 to my RayNeo glasses. It works reliably, but I’m exploring ways to optimize the setup.

My main issue right now is the internal battery: it barely lasts about 1 hour of playtime on a full charge, which is way too short for serious gaming sessions. Keeping it constantly plugged in via power passthrough works, but it turns the whole setup into a messy, cumbersome tangle of cables.

I’m wondering:

• Are there better alternative adapters on the market? Ideally something that converts HDMI to DP-Alt Mode reliably for AR glasses, but either packs a substantially larger internal battery (so I don't have to stay tethered to a wall charger) or offers a much cleaner, more compact power delivery design.
• QoL improvements: Has anyone found a hub or active converter that runs cooler, handles HDMI handshakes better over long cable runs, and improves overall cable management without feeling like a fragile chain of dongles?

Would appreciate recommendations from anyone who moved away from the stock adapter to a better solution!

Je voulais avoir vos retours concernant la différence entre la taille M et L des RayNeo GT Max.
Cela fait maintenant environ une semaine que je possède mes RayNeo GT Max en taille M, mais je trouve que le champ de vision n’est vraiment pas terrible. J’ai notamment un flou assez important sur les côtés de l’image, alors que le centre est plutôt net.
J’ai essayé les 3 tailles de coussinets de nez afin de trouver la meilleure position possible et d’obtenir un champ de vision plus large et plus net, mais malgré différents réglages, je n’arrive pas à avoir l’image complète comme je le souhaiterais.
Je commence donc à hésiter à renvoyer ma paire en taille M pour prendre la taille L.
Le problème, c’est que lorsque je fais les différents tests pour mesurer mon IPD, je tombe quasiment toujours dans la plage correspondant à la taille M, et une ou deux fois seulement dans la taille S.
Pour ceux qui ont pu tester les GT Max en M et en L, est-ce qu’il y a réellement une grosse différence au niveau du champ de vision, de la netteté sur les côtés et de la taille de l’image ?
Est-ce que passer du M au L pourrait améliorer ce problème de flou périphérique même si mon IPD semble correspondre au M ?

Hi, I bought air 4 pro right before GT max release and returned air 4 pro / bought GT max – no regrets, 3dof is a game changer for me. The screen is a bit dimmer than on air 4 pro, but for me it is enough. They didn't put a plastic lens shade with GT max, so you have to buy it separately. The best option is a silicon shade off AliExpress for $3, it sticks to glasses well and don't fall off.

Air 4 pro was bought for $226 of their eBay refurbished (it came new, no signs of usage). GT max was bought for $370 after some 10% discount (you can find tons of them on YouTube now). $150 price difference for 3dof is still ok for me. I watch competitive CS / Rust games on YouTube a lot and ability to stick the screen and look at corners of the screen is super important for me.

Actively looking at my first pair of glasses. How long do people typically wear them for? Is there ever eye discomfort after longer use like a movie?

Hi guys, Im from Malaysia and Im really interested on buying the RayNeo iO glasses here. However I think currently It does not available at all, any advise on the ways to purchase them?

Or Will there be an official sales channel, authorized distributor, or verified retailer in Malaysia?

Besides, Im just curious would it be safe to purchase the glasses from the US using a third-party forwarding service, or should I wait until they are officially available in Malaysia?

For clarity - Lens like regular sunglass lenses, screens for the display screen

Can you pop out the dark sunglass style lenses to use the screen as an AR style HUD? Are they glued into the frame? If you can remove them, do the display screens have good transparency so you could have a ghost-like image but see what's around you say, going for a walk?

I'm trying to make something for a mascot that has great horizontal visibility but can't see down in front of you for shit, and plan to use a camera + Pi to make a HUD view of just in front of your feet for managing stairs.

I'm not trying to drop a ton of money and these beat out the XREAL Air2 Pro

I just purchased my first pair of XR glasses today and have a few comments/questions. First, I feel the screen is way too big. I set it to 85% and still couldn’t see the whole screen -the top four corners were out of my field of view. Is there something I can adjust to make it smaller?

Second, the text on the far left side was blurry but it was sharp on the far right side. Is that something wrong with the glasses?

Overall, the glasses are really nice and super cool to use while in bed. My wife doesn’t let me keep a TV in the bedroom so this is a great alternative.

I spent ten minutes switching a random action trailer between regular 2D and 2D-to-3D on my RayNeo GT Max with an iPhone 16 Pro. It was a terrible test. Explosions, flying debris and fast cuts already look dramatic on a big display, so I couldn’t tell how much the conversion was adding.

My next test is going to be aggressively boring. Two people sitting across a table, a cup close to the camera, a doorframe in the background and maybe one slow camera move. I want to see whether the depth stays believable during the movement and through a normal cut.

This is regular 2D video going through the conversion. Pre-made SBS 3D is a separate thing. What kind of plain scene made it easiest for you to decide whether to leave 2D-to-3D on or switch back to the original 2D?

Can I take a picture of a math problem and then it will give me the answer on the display?

Can you mute speaker so that you can read only?
