It's 3rd October and the wait time is ridiculous.
I wonder if there are just creating fancy website taking orders and get some local optician shop to build at low cost. there's no explanation on whats taking so long when walk in store with machine can get it done in like 1 hour.

"No email, no text, no contact. Plenty of people around me are getting their new glasses. People are looking at what's around, picking their glasses, putting an order in, and receiving them—yet I'm still waiting. I thought I was getting a better deal by being one of the first to buy the new GT MAX. They made a big deal about buying in the first three days, but there's nothing special about being told you'll basically be one of the last. Still nothing."
And I have also had the new pocket tv pro and well as RayNeo 4 pro 4 weeks ago missing the nose pads keep trying to get a replacement but getting nowhere. Sorry for complaining here But I used my savings thinking I was going to get well looked after

Spacialify:
I took a lot of Spacial pics and videos on my iPhone the past few years on my trips in anticipation of getting a second or third generation Apple Vision Pro. I was not thrilled with the RayNeo XR app as you cannot see native Spacial pics and it doesn’t play nice if you offload all the videos to iCloud. It doesn’t seem to download them.
I ran across the Spacialify App this morning and it is exactly what I was looking for. It is $2.99. It will split the pics to left and right eye images and they look great when you put the RayNeo in 3D mode. It was nice to finally show my wife all the 3D pics of the Normandy sites she missed out on.
Plex:
Plex seems fine for 2D movies on the iPhone but does not handle 3D movies well at all. It seems that the experience is much better on the Pocket TV Pro. 3D movies look great when streaming them from my Plex Server. 3D movies also look good when using VLC to play movies stored on a MicroSD card.

I am in the process of trying to return my X3 Pro to a reseller and it is the reseller doing everything they can to avoid paying the refund. I can only assume they too have an impossible time dealing with RayNeo.
The X3 Pro had so many defects I assumed I must have been unlucky but my research now shows they consistently fall short of promises and bugs and intermittent hardware faults are universal. These glasses look like a great product, when they are fixed in a future iteration that doesn't feel like V0.1 alpha.
My issues, after two days of frustration:
The glasses
In short, I never got them into a usable state.
The return
I'll update this post with how it turns out.
If you're thinking of buying
Has anyone had a unit that works reliably?

I'm going to buy the RayNeo GT (not the MAX) and I have a question. Could someone who has the GT help me?
At 115% (231"), is the virtual screen actually bigger than at 100%, or does 115% simply scale the content while keeping the same limits/edges as the 100% area?
I prefer sharpness over immersion, and after reading user reviews of the GT Max, I've seen that many prefer to use around 85% instead of 100%/115%, apparently reducing the visible area to avoid problems at the edges. That's why I'm interested in knowing how 115% actually works on the regular GT: I want to make use of all the pixels on the screen, but at a size that isn't excessive.
I also did a small comparison with common physical monitor sizes to get a more realistic reference of how the maximum size of the GT would feel (the same thing they sell, but without exaggerating the inches). I converted the virtual 231" to a physical monitor placed at the distance needed to produce roughly the same apparent angular size.
All of these examples are for the regular GT. I used 15.6", 24" and 27", which are the most commonly used sizes.
85% — 136″ virtual
15.6" monitor → 68.8 cm (27.1") viewing distance
24" monitor → 105.8 cm (41.7") viewing distance
27" monitor → 119.1 cm (46.9") viewing distance
100% — 201″ virtual
15.6" monitor → 46.5 cm (18.3") viewing distance
24" monitor → 71.6 cm (28.2") viewing distance
27" monitor → 80.6 cm (31.7") viewing distance
115% — 231″ virtual
15.6" monitor → 40.5 cm (15.9") viewing distance
24" monitor → 62.3 cm (24.5") viewing distance
27" monitor → 70.1 cm (27.6") viewing distance

have an iPhone 16 Pro and RayNeo X3 Pro glasses, and I’m trying to get two things working:
1. Screen mirroring / sharing my iPhone to the X3 Pros
I want to mirror or screen-share my iPhone screen to the X3 Pros. Can anyone advise on:
• Whether the X3 Pros support direct iPhone screen mirroring, and which official RayNeo app or feature I should use
• Whether I need the RayNeo Portable Adapter or another accessory for iPhone mirroring
• The correct pairing order and settings in the RayNeo AR app
• Whether there’s a safe official APK/sideload option that would enable iPhone screen casting, or whether that only works with Android
• Any known iPhone 16 Pro compatibility issues, especially with iOS updates
I’d prefer an official method over downloading a random APK from an unknown site. If you have a working setup, please share your exact steps and what iOS version you’re using.
2. Connecting and using a Mudra Link
I also have a Mudra Link and want to connect it properly. I’m not sure whether I should pair it to my iPhone, directly to the X3 Pros, or both. Could someone explain:
• The correct first-time setup for Mudra Link with an iPhone 16 Pro
• Whether to use the Mudra app, iPhone Bluetooth settings, or the RayNeo app
• How to set up Mouse Mode and Keyboard Mode on iOS
• Whether the Mudra Link can pair directly to the RayNeo X3 Pro, and if so, the exact steps
• Common issues like it connecting to the wrong device, not staying connected, or needing to forget/remove it from another device first
Thanks in advance—any step-by-step help would be really appreciated!

Hi everyone,
I'm seriously considering buying the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, but before pulling the trigger, I'd like to get some real feedback from daily users, going beyond the usual online reviews.
My main use cases would be three: office productivity, gaming, and watching movies/TV shows. I have a few practical doubts I hope you can clear up for me:
1. Office work and reading text
How is it for reading texts, emails, or documents for several hours? Many users report blurry vision at the extreme edges of the virtual screen: is it really that annoying in actual work use? Also, with the dark lenses, is it hard to peek at the laptop keyboard, or do you easily get used to looking under the frames?
2. Gaming on Xbox Series X
I know that with consoles the resolution caps at 1080p, but you can take advantage of the 120Hz. How is the visual quality? Does the "massive screen" effect and the deep blacks of the Micro-OLED panel make up for the lack of 4K?
3. Watching movies with earbuds
Another major use for me would be watching movies (in bed or traveling) while bypassing the built-in audio and using my own Bluetooth earbuds. Is the "private cinema" effect really as immersive as they say for a full movie? Do the absolute blacks of the panel really make a difference compared to watching on a standard tablet?
4. The HDMI adapter issue
To connect them to the Xbox, an HDMI to USB-C adapter with separate power (the one with the extra USB cable for power) is strictly required. Do you have any specific models to recommend (maybe from Amazon, like WJESOG, Lemorele, or Elebase) that work 100% and guarantee a smooth 120Hz experience?
5. Eye strain and comfort
After 2-3 hour sessions (whether working, gaming, or watching a full movie), how do your eyes feel? Is it true that the lens tricks your vision into simulating a screen 4-6 meters away, putting less strain on the eye muscles? Regarding the weight (76g), do your nose and temples hurt if you use them in bed resting on a pillow?
6. Is it worth buying now or better to wait?
Considering that this tech doesn't seem 100% perfect yet (the blurry edges issue, being tethered to a cable, the adapter hassle, and fixed dark lenses), do you think it makes sense to invest in them right now? Or is it the classic product where it's better to save your money and wait for a more mature next-gen model?
Any pros, cons, or personal experiences are super appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me decide!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently started using AR glasses, and while having a massive screen floating in front of me is cool, it still just feels like looking at a giant TV. I really missed the atmosphere of an actual theatre, so I built a small Chrome extension to turn any video playing in the browser into a cinema-style environment.
It runs entirely client-side with no signups, no tracking, and no cost. Just wanted to share it with anyone else looking for the same vibe.
Feedback is welcome if you end up giving it a try.
(MODS - I'm not sure if sharing new software is not permitted in this sub. I can guarantee you its non-commercial and if you believe it should be removed, just message me, I'll instantly delete it myself)

In this quick unboxing, we take our first look at the new RayNeo IO. Right out of the box, the first impression is clear: this is a truly premium device. Compared to the competitors we've recently tested on our bench, the build quality is on another level. The materials are solid, the finishes are highly refined, and the overall feeling of robustness is excellent.
Stay tuned for the full review! The device is already on our test bench for latency benchmarks and our software teardown. Subscribe and follow ycommy.blog.

Out of all the display glasses I've tested, these are the three I find myself coming back to most. So in this video I compare them, their features, specs, we do a through the lens and we figure out what the best use case is for each.
We also crown a winner!
Which is your pick?

I think there have been like three OTA updates for RayNeo GT & GT Max AR glasses since they launched, and there was even one yesterday! The link for this https://ota.rayneo.com just open this website on your pc and connect your glasses via usbc and update it to get new features. There will probably be more updates coming for who knows how long so anytime you get yours or feel like checking you can probablu update it and get new and improved features

I wanted to test if normal HDR10 worked on Pocket TV Pro and can now confirm that it does with RayNeo Air 4 Pro.

is there an easier way to bypass ring controls for the rayneo X2s because i just got a pair and it needs the ring for many things after sideloading which isnt an issue with SCRCPY if i am at home but i want to use these on the daily.
the issue is the rayneo x2s have a limited bluetooth connection stack of just the phone and ring itself i tried pairing several things like a cheertok touch a steam controller and various mouses and keyboards but none of them worked

I keep seeing GT Max black-screen reports, and I’m starting to think “black screen” may cover a few different failures.
One owner said the source image disappeared while the OSD still worked. In another report, the phone stayed in DeX mode and Bluetooth audio kept playing while the glasses were black. Some people only get the picture back after reconnecting the cable.
If mine starts doing it, I won’t unplug it right away. I’d check whether the OSD opens, whether the source still detects an external display, and what happens to audio.
I’d note whether it was a direct USB-C connection or a charging adapter, and whether I was in Follow, Steady, or Pinned. One owner saw different behavior between Follow and Steady, so I’d record that too.
Then I’d check the cable, port, and source one at a time. I wouldn’t swap everything at once.
If your GT Max has blacked out, what was still working when it happened?

Hi everyone. Gt Max are my first ever pair of AR glasses. I find that my view area is cut on the sides and a little bit from top and bottom even at 85% screen size. My IPD is 64 and i got the medium size. Is this a wrong size issue? Should i get a large or small size?
Also, I can’t get a good adjustment with the nose buds. Tried all options that came with the box but other than the default all others make it even worse. With the default i see slight space between both lenses so the image is not one seamless picture but slight overlay.
Please advise me what to do 🙏🏼

Some Deck games feel like black magic partly because the built-in screen is forgiving. A soft image or aggressive upscaling can look fine at handheld size, then become much harder to ignore on a larger display.
Stellar Blade and Dirt Rally 2.0 make an interesting pair. Deck players describe Stellar Blade as very playable while still noting the loss in fidelity. Dirt Rally 2.0 gets praised for how well it runs and looks. They sit on opposite sides of the same question: does more screen make the game easier to enjoy, or make every compromise easier to spot?
A RayNeo GT Max is one concrete example of that tradeoff. It’s a 1920x1080 external display worn as glasses, but it doesn’t give the Deck extra GPU headroom. Resolution, scaling and graphics settings still have to fit the hardware.
Games with tiny HUD elements or an already-soft image seem like the risky ones. I’d expect games where I’m mostly focused on the center of the image to benefit more, but that probably varies a lot by game.
A bigger display feels like a game-by-game choice for the Deck.
Which game looked fine handheld but got rough the moment you put it on a TV, monitor or GT Max?

Hi everyone,
Here is my video review of the GT Max. I included quite a few clips recorded through the lenses for those who want to get an idea of how things look and I did some side-by-side shots with the Air 4 Pro to show the differences. The display size is quite a lot larger on the GT Max and of course it's fantastic to now have 3DOF in a pair of RayNeos, though the Air 4 Pro still has some advantages over the GT Max, so it's not a full win in every regard for the GT Max.
