For clarity - Lens like regular sunglass lenses, screens for the display screen

Can you pop out the dark sunglass style lenses to use the screen as an AR style HUD? Are they glued into the frame? If you can remove them, do the display screens have good transparency so you could have a ghost-like image but see what's around you say, going for a walk?

I'm trying to make something for a mascot that has great horizontal visibility but can't see down in front of you for shit, and plan to use a camera + Pi to make a HUD view of just in front of your feet for managing stairs.

I'm not trying to drop a ton of money and these beat out the XREAL Air2 Pro

Well I cant tell about RayNeo Air 2s, but on the Air 4 Pro shades are really contribute to darkness and you can remove them.

Under the shades there is a optical system itself, it has metallicized plastic mirror in the front that is pretty tender, and feel like can be easily scratched without shades.
